i9505G 4.3 battery drain

Since I'm unable to comment on dev ROM page yet I was wondering if anybody else is getting poor battery life with the Google edition 4.3 ROM by HazAnwar! ROM seems smooth and not found any bugs yet but battery life is dismal from full charge I'm getting 5hrs or less with little use just foram reading and over 3g it drains even faster

He meant the rom was immature... Meaning incomplete and not ready for full use... Considering it is a leaked rom and not meant for public use, you will experience such problems...
I'd wait until root becomes available and im sure there'll be some tweaks to improve the battery...

[Q] battery om cm10.1

Hi fellow Finders,
I have a question about the battery life. I have recently switched to cyanogenmod 10.1 but I am having trouble with the battery life, and in the picture attached it seems that the cpu is running full power since I unplugged my device.
Does anyone has the same problem, I am just listening to music this morning and already I am left 20% less battery than 1.5 hours ago.
Is it good to install a different kernel than the standard cm? Or are there other solutions?
Greetings,
xkyuz

Apparently the governor is the problem as mentioned in the original cm 10.1 thread. Changing the governor to conservative did the trick for me

Bad battery life on CM11

Hi,
I am running the latest CM11 nightly 20141204. I just bought a new original samsung battery but still getting pathetic battery life. I am getting just half day backup with data on. Is this problem specifically with CM11 or there could be any other issue?
Try ArchiKernel, it does wonders with the battery life.

Yeah I did that. What are your settings?

I have left it on the standard settings since it feels like a good balance between performance and battery life for me.

Find the betterbatterystats thread and follow the OP.
cyanogen is known for the ''battery drain'' problem, i suggest you to flash boeffla kernel, with the app ''boeffla config v2" (find it on web, not in play store) and play with governors and eventually undervolts to save some battery
