[Q] WalkmanApp ?

Hey Guys,
i´ve seen a instruction to get the W8 Firmware on the X8. Is it possible to extact the walkman app?

I think thats only miui. And the framework.
I thought there is a non-miui app...

There is walkman app too in eight post

this walkman app is not the real deal , the real app has the equalizers

walkman port for xperia arc

HI Great minds,
i am using xperia arc - build no#4.1.B.0.431 with root access. i have tried to install the walkman port from xperia z from thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2206125. Before installation i removed semcmetadata.apk, installed the downloaded zip through CWM and cleared dalvik and cache partition. but after reboot when i opened the walkman, its getting closed. also tha apps related to walkman like visualiser, download music info are also getting closed. Please help me to get install the walkman port from xperia z.

Hey guys. Are somebody ported Xperia Z walkman to our plays?

Maybe u can try flashing media apps port from rizal lovins..it might work

WALKMAN FIX FC Xperia Z1 Only For JB 4.1
And there wasnt any shortcut for walkman app..

Sorry it took me a few days, I got caught up with school and stuff, I have these item flashed on a 4.1.2 rom on r800a and r800i. Clear audio is working and so are all the audio settings of Xperia Z Walkman.

Not working for me. SemcMetadataCleanup.apk is crashing and there is no walkman shortcut ;F

It works for me.. Did you add the required build.prop lines? (posted in the original thread) Those files I linked have worked for a lot of people across multiple devices. Probably something small being missed here.

That method should *theoretically* work on all Android roms/phones, but some system apps only work with certain roms. For example, most Touchwiz apps cannot be installed on AOSP or CM based roms. If an app is not compatible, it will force close continually until you remove it from /system/app

tried installing it on my Xperia Z1 cannot install it, I'm on 4.4.2 and not rooted too :good:

How did you get it? Lifelog still not released, don't you?
Anyway. It does not installation. (Z1 Compact 4.4)

I ve found it on www, i guess it has been pulled of z2 rom
