Wonder if anyone can help here, I have ran some search on the forum as well as many others but unable to find a define answer to this so hopefully you guys can help me. A beginners guide would be helpful.
My dell streak is currently rooted and running on DJ Steve's Rom streakdroid 1.9.0, how ever I would like to restore my streak back to factory rom as I am selling it. My Dell streak is a O2 streak baseband is gausb1a131921-eu.
Can some one kindly advise what I need to do to unroot and restore it back to factory settings?
Any help would be appreciated.

Not trying to be rude...but have you even looked around for this? Have you read up on anything for the Dell Venue Pro or Windows Phone 7 for that matter.
If you had, you would have noticed, no stock rom, no rom flashes, no external ability to go backwards, unless you have your own restore points.
Might be helpful to do a little research, first.

A simple ... Hey, 'you can't do it unless you have your own restore points', would have probably worked. I never do understand the rants. There was nobody forcing you to read and/or reply to the post. No need to be an ass unless that is how your momma raised you. Chill!

I will return my Transformer to the shop so I want to slash back to stock ROM & recovery.
I'm sure that I've seen a complete thread with all the needed information but now I can't find it. So can anyone please point me to the correct thread to flash stock ROM and then stock recovery ?

Hey guys my streak being weird. It vibrate all the time for no reason and I can't get it to stop. Anyone have any ideas? I would really appreciate the help. It seems to only do it when I have missed call or text but keep doing even after I check it. Please help me! Thank for your hltime.

try to flash a clean rom it should fix ur problem

Not experienced that before, have you got the ringer volume turned off?
If it's not something simple like that then possibly a factory reset or even just remove the battery and reboot might fix it.
Telling you to flash a different rom is daft imo, unless it's something you've already done there is no reason why the stock rom would be the cause of it.

How did you flash and what did you flash? My recommendation is to flash a stock recovery (I normally use 354 but others will work as well, 351 seems popular) then put a stock rom (that matches the recovery) on your sd card and name it update.pkg. You can find them here: http://mirror2.streakdroid.com/manii/
Then use the stock recovery to flash the stock rom. When that is done, reflash streakmod recovery and then whatever rom you were wanting, if you wanted a custom rom.
This is what I do everytime I flash a new rom and it has worked well for me.
Hello all,
I have take my phone in for service and obviously I would like to un-root it. I used the revoltionary method and I follow all the instructions to un-root the best I can but I can disable the fast boot so that the PC36IMG.zip will be read and update accordingly. I am currently running the elite series III ROM in case that has anything to do with it. Anyone have the same issue or can shed some light on what I may have done wrong?

I had an issue with recovery. I think I had to flash amon-ra after the stock rom to get s-on. Can't remember but something to do with the recovery...sorry I can't help more.
This should be in the Q&A section, not the development section, just saying...

Thanks, those are the directions I have followed and for some reason I am not getting any where.
A while back when ICS was first leaked, I flashed it.
My A500 is not rooted or unlocked or anything. It was completely stock HC.
Whatever it was that I flashed, I was able to flash using the built-in recovery tool.
Under Settings, it says this:
Image version: Acer_AV041_A500_RV05RC01_PA_CUS1
Build number: Acer_AV01_A500_1.033.00_PA_CUS1
Now all the threads I'm reading about flashing newer roms says I have to be on GEN1 first. Searching for PA_CUS1 doesn't give me any results.
What do I do, where do I go, what can I flash from where I am now?
And pointers would be greatly appreciated.

i think your on the first build of ics, have a look for the root method and see if you can root the rom your running, if successive i would then recommend you try using the flexreaper extreem v5.1 the latest and greatest from civato ,
