[Q] How can I install Froyo on the Wildfire?

i just bought htc wildfire and i have 2.1 android...how can i instal 2.2 android(froyo)

At current there are NO 100% stable 2.2 (froyo) ROM's avalible. (Apart from the shipped chinese ROM)

Have anyone tried to flash the cn 2.2? i know you dont have root after but what kind of speed difference have they had?

Hi,
im looking for an Desire HD stock rom.
Even not changed to run on HD2. Want this as base for my cooking.
I have looked around and all links i found were offline (
Important for me is that its a current version (WWE_1.72.405.3) as far as i found.
would be great if anyone can help me

Hello,
Have any one done 2.2 or 2.3 ROM with Sense? It would be a perfect rom.

Yes.there is a Custom Rom with UI SENSE
called tatfroyo firmware 2.1 or 2.2 idr
Its a rom dumped from htc wildfire I belive this project is now dead by you can get it.I would post the link to it but my account has not yet exceeded 10 replys so sorry.But hey search it up in the Htc tatoo:click -development or something like that.

The rom requires a rooted phone.You can find many tutorials in the development section

Lewa OS

Hi. My wife has on her HTC Wildfire S Lewa OS Rom (based i think on Miui and CM9). And i really like it!
Could someone please port it to Defy (plus)? Is it possible?

its already ported, perhaps you have to fix the battery manually, as its based on cm7 it should work also on defy+

[ROM porting request] AOKP from u8800

Hi! Today i'm opening this new thread for asking developers if someone could please port this ROM to our phone. The ROM is for u8800, so the porting wouldn't be so difficult. I've personally tried to do it, but i'm not so good with porting so the ROM gave me error when i tried to flash it in the CWM. If someone could do this port for the community would be great! =D

I can use Lewa OS's wifi if its gingerbread. I could probably use Aurora's wifi.

If someone ports my port for the -51 then your set
