Hello! I installed Mango at my device a month ago and everything was fine till yesterdayl Yesterday, it was lagging and crashing all the time so I restarted it but it booted on recovery mode(The connect to computer screen). I updated to beta 2 of mango but it still is in recovery mode... It only boots in Cold Boot. What can I do to fix it????
You could try to flash a stock rom. Then perhaps updating back to Mango.
Take a look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=935578 for instructions how to flash your device.

Hi, I installed the latest update but I have a "slight" problem.
The update went ok, I pressed finished and the phone rebooted. But it stays frozen on the HERO in booting screen. Left it like that for 10mins, then removed the battery, rebooted, and same thing.
I pressed back and powered it up to fastboot, connected to pc again and run the installation once more. It recognised it as having the latest update but i reinstalled it anyway. Now i have it frozen again for the last 20mins
Any idea what could be wrong, or I just bricked my phone?
Did you apply the "official" update or a mod of it?
It was the official update from HTC's site. Tried to boot to the recovery image in case i could use a nandroid backup i had, but it won't let me upload it to the phone soit can boot. I guess it's the new loader with the update
Change the sim you are using and it wont freeze .
Hi all,
I would like to brief wat happened actually to my fone!
First, I rooted my firmware 2.3.5 XXJVT as per the instructions given. My mob got rooted successfully. I installed busy box and gave su permission and restarted my fone.
It didnt restarted. It was restarting again and again with the startup screen coming again and again.
I went to download mode and re-rooted it again stll had the same problem.
Done resetting too.
Finally I flashed using ezodin to froyo. Followed which restarting has stopped and now stucked with logo screen.
kidnly help me! I would literally cry!!!!!!!!
NOTE: I can able to go to download mode.
I can able to go the factory reset page in my mob too.
Download another rom, flash again. And use Odin this time.
My a500 has been running fine for almost two years on Lightspeed 4.8, Bundle 17 on A500APXFlash. This morning, every time I try the power button, it starts to load the bootloader, then crashes. It seems to be destabilizing. Everything was working fine yesterday, then suddenly the ROM would do a bootloop, so I went in the TWRP recovery. I wiped the last ROM, then tried to restore the same ROM from a backup. As the ROM was restoring, suddenly the device shut down. I tried to start up the bootloader, but only got to the splash screen. Now, the tablet will vibrate and won't even get to the splash screen. If you have any ideas, please help!
Thanks in advance
I flashed the ROM Ressurection Remix onto my phone to get a newer Android version since the model is quite old. Everything worked perfectly for over two years. Then while browsing, my phone crashed and got into a bootloop and restarts after showing the Samsung Logo. After manually removing the battery and putting it back repeatedly it boots up somehow. I couldn't reproduce what was happening back then.
After that it crashes in irregular intervals for no apparent reason and every time I could get it to boot properly by turning off and on for a long period of time.
Now I got the same problem and I wanted to get rid of the bootloop, so I decided to flash it with a new version of Ressurection Remix. I updated TWRP via Odin and had much trouble to get into recovery mode since my phone was crashing at the Samsung logo. As I got into recovery I made a factory reset and flashed the new rom. But as soon as my phone started to reboot after the flashing, it crashes again and the loop starts once again. Again, I searched for another Rom and used LineageOS but the problem persists.
Now I'm out of options, I can't even get into recovery mode by now.
Could anybody help me out?

Hey. I have same problem. I can just boot the Phone with bootloader. Anyone have an idea about this?
Earlier this morning i installed the weekly LineageOS update and upon rebooting the phone to install the update, the phone didnt fully boot back up. It is currently just showing the splash screen and wont boot into the device. Is there anything I can do to see if I can rescue this phone without factory resetting the phone?
Thanks,
