Anyone knows when we are getting mango update for focus?
I am bit too lazy to hack it. Hope they delivers the update soon enough.

What do you think? We'll soon get the update?
Really interesting.
This means that it can be updated soon officially, but even if that update is not released to public I guess ROM cookers could take it as base for new unofficial ROM's.
Wow, great news thanks mate! This really means we will get an update shortly
I'm really looking forward to that update, Sense will boost the Magic experience extremely
Go HTC! Release it!
Hi guys!
Take a look to this link... i believe this must be the reason why the generic firmware hasn't been released.
http://developer.sonyericsson.com/community/thread/50846;jsessionid=C45090766D455A7A1096F07BF254C22A
Any fix to problems is always welcome
It will be funny though if they're not releasing it until the root comes, and the root won't be release til the new firmware comes LOL just staring at each other of who will go first
The good news is that they are working on it and discovered some Bugs to be fixed
Let´s hope it's going to be released early this week. I'm tired of this slow and buggy firmware. Not to mention the battery and call volume issues.
SonyEricssonCA posted the following on Twitter about 15 hours ago...
"Free software upgrade for the Xperia X10. Get more details here: http://bit.ly/b9HT0A"
But I can't see anything from that link, SEUS, OTA or PC Companion. Anyone else seeing anything?
its probably the update to 026....as usual, Canada always seems to be in back burner for these folks when rolling out updates.
I checked last night after reading that twitter post both OTA and SEUS, no update available. Still running on R2BA020! I assume that post was to remind newer X10 customers they should update that horrible 014 firmware.
*also today is August 6th not the 8th man

Yesterday’s tweet about the software upgrade was just a reminder for those who haven’t yet updated.
Was the update from the future? In the future I have 2.2 on my x10 and no Rogers. dare to dream.
Darn. Got excited for nothing.
Dammit
Who knows, maybe Rogers will release 2.1 before anyone else does
Doesn't hurt to dream....
You just wait... "The 2.1 update for Canada has been pushed back to Q4 of 2012"
The SE CEO's will be sitting in a room going "Who else do we have left to push 2.1 to? Canada? Those guys are still around? Do they get internet in their igloos?"
till 2012!?!?!? god damm!!!
LOL all.
That's why I rooted. Tired of waiting for Rogers to push out their updates weeks after everyone else.
BTW: R2BA026 is wonderful!
If you want a picture with 2.1 set to be release oct and above in a japanese presentation i can upload it. I am sick of people expect 2.1 tomorrow because they didn't do the researches.
Sent from my X10a using XDA App
sure, upload it
How is this build wonderful? What makes it good? I cannot see any difference between this and the one before. Am i missing something?
Has it improved the batter life? Has it dealt with the low volume on the earpiece?
With the Galaxy S listing for $499.99 CDN, Rogers had better get on SE for the real update, or expect a price cut on the X10.
As much as I dislike the Galaxy S' exterior design, the specs (and OS) are killer.

I'm curious. How recently did the presentation take place? The original plan was for 2.1 in Q4 but it was pushed ahead to Q3 in June/July. Is there a chance the presentation happened before or after the changed schedule?
Edit: Yep, September "onwards" for the civilized world and late Q3-early Q4 onwards for the US. Damn those progressive rollouts, always confusing stuff.
Lots of rumours flying around that the X10 is about to land on AT&T in the US...I can't imagine them actually launching this premium phone with 1.6 in the US especially after all the recent updates to 2.2 for all the highend Android devices (less the Galaxy line). SE would have to be out of their minds to pull a stunt like that. Here's hoping they aren't THAT incompetent and just finalizing a 2.1 release ready for the launch of the X10 on AT&T in the coming weeks.
I want my update now... I can't believe I am still using android 1.6!!!
No one has actually answered my questions. Whats so special about this new software update? I dont see any difference at all. Its still 1.6. No improvement on battery life and no real update worth all this hype.
What is it really?

Having recently come from the Nexus One & Froyo I must say over all I'm liking the X10 a lot better. Sure it's 1.6 but I think it's fine compared to 2.2 which I found to be overall not that great. The grass is always greener on the other side I guess, but having come from the other side IMO the X10 isn't missing much.

Samsung Galaxy S 2.2 update
Posted: 2 days ago
Hi folks
Thanks a lot for all your patience regarding the Galaxy S froyo update.
Our handset team have been working closely with Samsung regarding this update and future updates and would like to share their news with you.
Our goal is to make the update process smoother and we are working to become the only mobile operator offering FOTA (Firmware over the Air) updates for the Samsung product range. The aim was and still is to have the FOTA update available at some point today. If for reasons outwith our control we are unable to have a FOTA update process fully functioning by close of play today, then we will make the update available for download via Samsung KIES tomorrow (Dec 1st)
Thanks again for all the feedback you've given us through our forums.
Cheers
Barry

Anyone know anything about this?
The post is about how they promised it 11/30, then 12/1, and it still isn't out. Apparently it will come out next week, so people fed up with t-mo and Samsung are just downloading it off XDA.

Just so you know we haven't gotten the update on the Epic due to "administrative" issues between Sprint and Google.
I was talking with someone to day and found out its something dealing with interfering with Sprint voice packages; seeing as you can call for free through google now.. Sprint doesn't like that too much..
been holding off flashing another build because I'd rather get the rtm, but not sure if anyone knows when it's supposed to drop?
Somewhere September/October
When 7720 will come to our 'King' I think in the same time or soon after...
DFT got their hands on this build but I don't think they'll release it before official update by MSFT.

They got the build, but there's been no indication that they have it up and running on an HD2 yet.
Yep, I think so, just hoping.
Mango RTM build 7720 was released yesterday, you can find the thread at the WP7 forums! Currently not for HD2 though.
Just a matter of days ... waiting . . .
Day by day i wait this update for HD2 !!!
Yes the Mango Build 7720 RTM is here. But where are the experts to adapt it to our HD2? Please please someone do this.....

I expect to be waiting another couple weeks AT LEAST.
Judging from when the last update was which is quite a while ago I wouldn't hold my breath.
Thats the FAQ last days!
I think that it will be sooner ...the next few days
We will receive a call with somebody whispering for the RTM to be ready in........
