I would like to know if there is a way to unlock the R800, I tested several sites for unlocking but none works, someone has a solution because I am short of ideas?

Although I've understood and done several things talked about on these forums I'm doing so without knowing what and why I'm doing some things, so hopefully a few simple ones. I'd appreciate a couple of someones minutes (I've had a searching spree but tbh the boolean searches blow for some reason)
1) What does CID stand for and what is it?
2) I'm in the UK and assuming it amounts to what we call a "Sim Lock" where an airtime provider (T-Mobile, O2 etc.) lock the phone to only accept their sim cards. Is this what it is or is it more complicated?
3) It is a requirement to unlock the CID before flashing new roms, I've unlocked mine and flashed a radio rom. Are the rom and CID tied together somehow?
4) I unlocked mine (T-Mobile UK MDA Vario), with aWizard. I've since seen lokiwiz unlocks CID. Is this simply 2 programs doing exactly the same thing?
5) Is the CID unlock a one shot deal, it remains unlocked regardless of soft and hard resets?
6) Can CID be reset to on in case of a return being necessary?

i used the unlocker on my hermes and it didnt work, now i have the unlock code for it and when i put my sim acard in it wont ask me for the unlock code like its supposed to. so to anyone that knows, could you please tell me either how to "relock" my phone, how to get my phone to ask me for the unlock code, or even get it back to complete factory settings?

I was trying to unlock a phone, so i tried some codes people gave me (codes that were suposed to work) tried 5 diferent codes and did not work. Now, the input code screen says that i gotta wait, and even if i wait a lot it does not quit. now, i need to use a code a i bought (dammit u_u') but i can't. Is there any other way to put the unlock code? or at least reset the number of tries... any help? THNX! i apreciate it

EDIT: OK, tries hadn't gone, its just that it take a lot of time to reset the sim to find the locked network. So i keep my question and i have a new one, how many times i can put an invalid code? thnx

I'm having some trouble trying to unlock my samsung s4 (gt-i9505) and was wondering if anyone knew how to help.
I've tried using the FastGSM samsung client several times but that hasn't worked and then I tried unlocking via IMEI using a network unlock code but it still keeps saying unsuccessful. I've tried restoring the phone and still nothing
I've heard it could have something to do with the NVRAM but for some reason I can't access the main menu of the service mode to try and change anything.
Has anyone else had this problem or know what else I could try? I would appreciate it.

Hi guys, i hope you can help me with this one.
I bought a D802 from AliExpress, but when i tried entering my sim i found out it couldn't get any signal even though it works just fine on my nexus 4.
i tried 2945#*802# to check the sim unlock process and got the next message: "The phone is permanently locked and can not be unlocked".
I can't enter an unlock code even if i want to. It doesn't give me the option. i can only dismiss the message.
I tried factory reset, rom switching, and radio flashing, none of them worked.
I opened a dispute in Aliexpress, but in the meanwhile i want to try and unlock it anyway, and maybe save the trouble of buying a new one and wait for a month all over again.
Can anyone help and maybe knows how to bypass it?
