Rooted but not Rooted

I rooted my phone following these instructions. All seemed great. I then downloaded BusyBox and it says I am root but can't install as I "may not have nand root access".
Also when I connect to the Terminal Emulator I downloaded from the market place and from ADB SHELL I get "Permission denied" when trying to su. Any ideas??
I followed Part 1 and Part 2 in the video. JuiceDefender shows I am root and so does BusyBox. I also have SuperUser application but nothing shows in the logs or in the application list. I figured I get notified if an app asks for SU but nothing notified me. Just "Permission Denied".
Still no idea. Fiddling around with it and it still thinks it's rooted in some applications but a adb shell or terminal emulator (on the phone) and it says SU permission denied.
Do you have a superuser icon?!
yep. sure do. it shows empty logs and applications.
Try and install setcpu or wifi tether and see what u get? If u install setcpu and try and use it and get denied u will know right away if u r really rooted. same with wifi tether, it will say denied!

WTF... LOL
Okay, so I download Wireless Tether for Root. Installs fine. Opens fine. Start tethering and get prompted to allow root access from SuperUser. I allow and tethering starts no problem.
So, how come I can't get SU as root? How come I can't install BusyBox (maybe nand not unlocked)?
Problem resolved.
Re-rooted with Unrevoked 3 and it works. Funny because unrevoked failed.

Weird root issue

I'm on JMD firmware.I've done the SuperOneClick 1.5.5. automated rooting process. It said it's done. After that i have been succesfully started marketacces and emulated tmob us which needs root privileges. My problem is with the Titanium Backup:when i click on the icon to start it pop-ups the superuser(to alllow its root acces)then i click on acces and after it says "titanium backup granted superuser acces" or something like this, then TITANIUM BACKUP POPS UP THE FOLLOWING ERROR MESSAGE:
"Sorry i could not aquire root privileges. This application will not work! Please verify that your ROM is rooted and includes BusyBox and try again"
I've already rebooted quite a few times, wiped all, reinstall firmware and do rooting process again and same happened.
Any ideas or solution?
Install busybox from the market... fixed mine with same issue.
Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA App
Thanks for your help it works now.Btw i would never find out that busybox is available as an apk from market

Titanium Backup "sorry i could not acquire root privileges"

I'm getting this message when trying to run Titanium Backup (latest version just downloaded from the Play store).
I've rooted my I9505 using Chainfire's CF-Auto-Root-jflte-jfltexx-gti9505. I then also installed BusyBox. SuperSU Shows Titanium Backup on its list with a green # sign. I've run Terminal emulator and entering SU gives me the # prompt so it looks like I'm rooted.
Any ideas what to try next?
Something I also noticed - the first couple of times that I ran it I got "Unfortunately Titanium backup has stopped". I kept trying and it eventually started

If you mean the "upgrade SuperUser" option then yes. Although when I open the new SuperUser app it doesn't list TiBU on the apps
???

All Apps Force Close For No Reason

Hello all,
Today I attempted to disable Kingroot and install SuperSU binaries using Terminal Emulator and a cool little script. Everything went well up until the SU binaries installed. Then all apps I try to boot force close after a few seconds. Anyone help? I have USB Debugging enabled so thats an advantage if I need it.
Did you try to root? It might be because your filesystem is mounted wrong. Reboot/restore it will be fixed.
