[Q] CM7 hanging on black screen at boot

I flashed CM7 RC1 this morning coming from an older version of phiremod. I formatted the system, data, and cache as usual. When I turn the nook on it gives me the Cyanogen splash screen with the loading text for a few seconds then goes to a black screen and stays there. If I try and boot into recovery it shows the Cyanogen splash screen with the booting recovery text and then also goes to the black screen and hangs.
I'm going to burn an sd card and try again with that when I get back from class, but does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

Sounds like an incorrect kernel. Did you flash a kernel after RC1? You obviously have the right uboot so that isn't the issue.
Assuming you didn't flash an incorrect kernel then you probably just have a bad flash. I would re-download RC1 and try again.

[Q] Black Screen after google app install

Hi All,
My phone was working fine with neutrino 2.5, downloaded googleapp.zip and installed from recovery, the phone restart and now only show the M screen and keep restarting, when traying to boot to recovery only say entering android recovery and them just black screen.
Any help.

[Q] CWM beta issues!

CWM beta ....i fastboot boot it and when it starts i have no words at all. it just sits there with the blue light circling it....if i could get CWM up i can ROM. HELP!!

try adjusting your tv setting for the display mode if the resolution is super high it might be showing it off the screen I know i can change the size of mine. unfortunetly there is not alot going on in this forum

After CM Update Bootloop

Yesterday I've update my CM on my Nexus 4.
During update, my n4 restart and get in bootloop ( see google logo, after that Display starts to blink bright and dark)
I can get into fastboot mode, but if I choose recovery mode, same problem appears. (google logo, after that display starts to blink bright and dark.
Anyone idea what I can do?

Try reflashing a stock rom.

Phone won't wake up after sleep (replaced Display)

Hello,
I've replaced the display of my Note 4x, but unfortunately, the screen only works until it goes into sleep. This means that the phone stays black and I have to completely reboot it.
In addition, the screen stays black while booting into the recovery mode (according to adb it is in recovery mode).
Does anybody know what can cause this problem?

I had that problem in a different device (umi super) although I didn't have custom recovery (mediatek chip, worst phone ever). My solution at that time was updating os to latest version.
My opinion to you is try to update firmware files or try using miui developer build.
