Wrong sub forum but what method did you use to root?
What rom are you running right now?
i use this metod http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1125714
And now use stock 3.1 rom
Try installing CWM again by double clicking on cwm.bat.
You should post questions in that thread
when i double-click on cwm.bat open window (view in attachements jpg file) and not happening

Drivers installed? Don't think they are.
Yes i manual install driver for APX devices and in devices manager i see bootload devices (i use win7 64bit).
And with this installed driver i make root my transformer.
I'm having the same problem. If I run cwm.bat right after running root.bat, it seems to work, but I'm rooted, but can't boot into cwm. If I run it separately, I just get the [resume mode] and nothing else happens. Little help?
EDIT: Nevermind, mine works. What you have to do is root first, then run cwm.bat. When trying to boot into recovery, hold down vol- and power at the same time and then you will have a 5 second window to get into cwm by pressing vol+. Good luck!

Did you change it? If not you're running the stock original recovery!
Turn off phone.
Hold volume up button and power until you see the bootloader come up
Use the volume down button to go to Recovery, press Power to select it.
It'll boot to recovery. If it's stock recovery, you'll see a triangle with an exclamation point.
Press up+power real quick. You'll see the stock recovery.
If it's not stock recovery you'll see whatever recovery you have with the version number on the bottom.
Hey guys,
is it possible to revert my phone back to stock?
I am running CM10 at the moment and would like to send my phone into repair (because of my speaker).
Maybe there is no problem with a custom ROM but I would like to be sure they don't blame a ROM for a hardware fault.
Maybe some of you have a bit of expierence with Motorola service or with the mentioned problem above.
Thanks for any help!

Just flash the SBF via RSDLite...
You need to boot into the bootloader - see instructions i my post here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33199328&postcount=1374
Then just do wipe data via stock recovery (boot with X pressed and then press vol up + down to see the recovery menu)
.. I've sent my Moto phone to repair with custom ROM (because my power button was broken, so I was not able to reflash it) and they have repaired it without any problem (thankfully) - but I definitely recommend you to do a nand backup and revert to stock with the instructions above

Wow that is easier than I thought, thanks!
If I flash the SBF, does that erase the custom bootloader/root etc. too?
I will give it a try in 2 weeks and see what the Motorola support ppl say.

you don't have a custom bootloader , but yes it will flash a stock version without Bootmenu or root.
Okay, then I meant Bootmenu, not Loader
Thanks again for the info, I will post an update if I succeed!
Just install a GB image from bootmenu and you will be ok. But the service will not mess with your software.

Thanks Anonymous_! Everything works fine now
Here is my procedure:
Programs/Files you need:
RSD Lite
SBF-File (make sure it's the right Kernel - Froyo/Gingerbread)
Motorola USB-Drivers (not sure if necessary for RSD-Lite)
Step-by-Step:
Install the USB-Drivers
Install RSD-Lite
Boot your phone into bootloader
remove battery
connect USB-Cable (PC to phone)
press and hold the buttons: camera + vol. down + power
put battery in while still holding these three buttons
Start RSD-Lite (with admin privileges)
Choose your SBF-File (with the "..." button)
Press Start
Then just "wipe data" via stock recovery
press and hold "x" on the hardware keyboard
boot your phone
press volume up AND down when you see the android robot (with the attention sign)
[*]Choose "wipe data" with the volume buttons
[*]Confirm with the power button, then confirm you choice again
[*]Then reboot from the recovery menu
Again my thanks goes to Anonymous_ for his instructions!
I was just going to ask the same question as the OP.
Thank you very much for the procedure explanation. Now I'm a bit more confident about upgrading to CM10
EDIT: What if when I try to boot via stock recovery, the Android robot appears but pressing Volume Up + Down don't do anything?
Thanks dudes, I bought a 2nd hand Milestone 2 with stock 2.2. I could not update to Android 2.3 with the Motorola official updater, so I followed this short tutorial. Now I have stock Android 2.3, Niceeee !! Now rooting the phone and removing the bloatware crap..

Please help. I am using the version v10k it is rooted. I have ROM Manager, I tried the ADB reboot recovery and the manual cwm volume + - home power. Please help.
Same problem
Have the same issue:
When i boot into recovery, either with volume + - home power buttons pressed or by using the "reboot into recovery" from rom manager i end up in a black screen with only the device keys lighten up. The only way to move further is to remove the battery from the device.
Have:
Recovery: CWM 6.0.2.8
Device: LG-P700
FW: android 4.0.3
Kernel: 3.0.8-perf
BN: IML74K
SW no: V10i
the official rom, rooted with the procedure in t he link bellow, supersu installed. cwm has been granted su access.
The recovery i installed first using the procedure from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2486512 and had the black screen. THen upgraded / reinstalled using rom manager, and have again the same black screen.
Any help would be appreciated

Have you installed BOOTLOADER? If you already have then you can do these steps:
1. Remove the battery and wait for a few seconds then put it back.
2. Press Volume Up + Volume Down + Home + Power Button
3. After the phone vibrates just release Power Button only.
4. Wait until CWM screen appears.
If it fails, repeat back from step 1 to 4.
Keep on trying. It works for me.

Hi and thank you for the answer.
I followed the steps from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2486512 "INSTALLING CWM(CLOCKWORK MOD)" section and after rebooting to recovery i got to the recovery options screen. Flash_Bootloader.bat did the work, as you mentioned bootloader.
Thanks for your help!
I'm having the same problem as many guys here (don't know how many have been able to solve it), i.e. after trying to boot into clockworkmod recovery, the result is nothing but a black screen and button lights on. My goal has been to flash CyanogenMod 10 from recovery, yet without success. I've tried booting manually pressing the volume up +, volume -, home, and power buttons, and via both ROM Manager and adb, always ending up with the black screen.
I've also tried to flash CWM several times in ROM manager and in addition to that I've followed the instructions given here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2486512. (Entering the commands in Flash_Bootloader.bat and Flash_Recovery.bat files in terminal.)
I'm using rooted Lg Optimus L7, android 4.0.3, V10k, kernel 3.0.8-perf. CMW version is 6.0.2.8. Computer that I've used in the process is running Ubuntu 14.04 if that matters.
I appreciate any help!

This happened to me too...it often happened when I was too impatient to wait for the phone to shut down completely so I could enter recovery mode... If you still have a working OS just shut it down and wait for it to be off completely then hold both volume up and down + the home button then power button, when the LG logo appears then disappears release the power button and continue holding both volume up and down+ the home button till in recovery. If that doesn't work try removing the battery, plugin power source when holding both volume up and down buttons + home button (Crude method, but it worked for me).

Hi guys, I've unlocked my bootloader and flashed CWM from:http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager, I've flashed and didn't get any errors, boot to Android and did "adb reboot recovery", I get in a screen with the android with a red triangle, stayed for some mins and nothing, I turned off and boot to Android, turned off again and turn on by Power + Vol -, Select Recovery and samething...
obs: I used this tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2266654 and downloaded this SuperSU: http://download.chainfire.eu/345/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.51.zip
How can I boot to recovery?
Another thing does SuperSU v1.51 works on Android 4.3?
Thanks
The screen with just a red triangle is stock recovery. Press and hold power and press volume up and you should get the stock recovery menu.
Try flashing CWM from fastboot manually as it's not taking with ROM Manager (which I don't rate anyway)

Elaborate the steps you do.
1.unlocked bootloader
2. downloaded TWRP and RedWolf recovery
3.Followed this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/asus-zenfone-max-pro-m1/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-1-x-t3787134
https://forum.xda-developers.com/as...t/recovery-red-wolf-recovery-project-t3787402
4.when I try to boot to recovery it boots only into stock recovery or shows me black screen.
5.What should I do to sukcessfully flash custom recovery?
Here's a simple fix....
Reboot to bootloader...
Open adb
Type
Fastboot erase recovery
Fastboot flash recovery twrp.zip(whatever your file is named)
Then long press pow button turn off..
Now press and hold power button and vol down....leave power button when screen lights up but keep holding vol down for a few more second..
It should boot into twrp now

thanx for the reply i replaced the old phone as it was not booting at all after i tried to revert back to .247 . but then the new phone i got was already on .318 so same twrp not installing issue someone said something like twr(pie) worked for them but i cant find anything like that. can u help me with that. thanx in advance.
Enter fastboot mode, flash twrp recovery, then go to recovery by pressing volume down and power button.if it boots OS then it will be replaced by stock recovery.so if you can't boot to recovery first time(BEFORE BOOTING OS) ,repeat the same process.
Any update on this , I tries installing TWRP version twrp-3.2.3-0-X00T-20180902.img but its the default recovery That I am getting.

Wonder if anyone could help a newbe like myself!
So:
I havae unlocked the bootloader, flashed with newest twrp recovery img.
Then?? I cannot boot into twrp for some reason!
I wonder if there is only a specific release of twrp that my phone allows, or can I get whichever??
And also.... Once it's done and I try to long press the volume up + power button, it doesn't seem to get me anywhere.
What am I missing??
All the tutorials and the thread I read make perfect sense...but then I fail miserably!
Please help!
