My sisters phone isn't receiving any MMS message, and this is starting to piss me off because my focus does. they are both 1.3 with nodo.

I updated to the latest iMate rom and for a time all seemed well with the only difference I could detect was a new button for GPRS disconnect and a little faster GPRS disconnect time. GPRS internet access worked fine.
However, this morning I got around to testing MMS and it has problems. First I tried to take and send a picture. After taking the picture a dialog came up asking whether I wanted it sent by MMS or email. I chose MMS and nothing happened so I ended the camera, executed MMS and tried to send a picture message from there. It refused to connect with wap.voicestream.com. So I tried sending a picture message to the JAM from my desktop. I got the notification and then a loop of trying to connect to wap.
Since I am on T-Mobile I decided to install the old MMS UK T-Mobile patch. This helped with the signon problem but I still cannot send a picture message to completion - it stops in the middle and tries to reconnect to wap. The same thing happens when I receive a picture mesage. All text messages sent and received with MMS seem to work fine.
Next I think I will remove the T-Mobile USA setting installed at the time of the UG and enter my own from scratch.
Guess I will keep messing with it but if nothing then I will probably go back to the original shipped rom for the 850.

Ok. so i unlocked my friends shadow. Shes using it with AT&T. When someone sends her a MMS, she doesnt receive it untill like 2 days later.

I have a problem with my mms.
I moved over to Three from virgin and now i can no longer receive mms messages. All the settings were setup when i put the new sim in and i rang 3 to confirm they were correct. They got me to send a mms to myself which worked and i received it. The problem is i can't receive anybody else's. 3 say there is not a problem because i can receive my own and all the settings are correct so I'm stuck. I can send mms no problems but not receive.
The only thing which might have affected it is i just finished porting my number today but i can still send so that should affect it.
Phone is a tytn ii on cooked 6.5 rom

update. i have found out that the only network i cannot receive from is tmobile/virgin so i believe i need to contact virgin and get them to delete my old profile from their network.
Does this sound right?

I found my answer in the end, some how the setting between t mobile and 3 had got messed up during the number port. Three and tmobile engineers sorted it for me.
Hey all, I can recieve MMS just fine (does the slideshow thing though) and I can send MMS fine to, but, the people I send the MMS to do not recieve the mms...any thoughts? Is it my end or thiers??

Have you tried sending to yourself to test?
it depends what phones they have and if they have a data plan since some phones require data plan to send and receive photos (G1,mytouch, anything android) well at least on tmo thats how it works
im on the elegancia rom i can send and receive but when i receive them they come in very small. if i send one to myself thats like 300 it comes back as about 7k same from other people.
any help?
I have the same problem on my phone. I can receive pictures fine, but when i send them it says it was succesfully sent but no one gets them. When I send it to myself it works? any suggestions?
I am on stock from Sprint. I just got the phone yesterday and am unable to send or receive MMS through Hangouts. Is there a fix for this or is this a known problem that has not been resolved yet? Or, is it just my phone?
