Any able to get sling player to work with honeycombv4. The app load then stops working.
Honeycomb lacks DSP support for the Nook which means no Slingplayer. Either use rooted stock or CM7.

A few months ago while we were all still running Flash Player 10.1 I found both a Flash Player mod AND a Hulu app that worked with the mod. Surprisingly enough, once Flash Player 10.2 came out that mod still worked. Unfortunately though that mod no longer works with Flash Player 10.3. Does anyone know a new Flash Player mod that's compatible with this latest update? I miss watching Hulu on my phone. :-(

Flash 10.3 with Hulu fix
I haven't tried this on my Droid X but have it working on my android tablets.

Just make sure you uninstall Flash on your phone first before you install this hacked version. Then you will have to change the UserAgent setting on your browser to Desktop. If you don't know how to get to that setting simply type about:debug in the address bar of the browser and hit enter. You won't see anything happen after you do this. Go to Settings and you should have UserAgent as a setting available to you after that. Select Desktop and then you should be good to go.
I've found with Hulu, to be able to play videos without it freezing and/or the screen turning black on you, you will have to get into your settings on Hulu and set your Account/Settings and set your Playback Quality to 288p (you don't want to let it auto-select for you).
Good luck.
One more thing, if you have an ad-blocker like AdFree or something you will have to disable it otherwise Hulu will not like it and eventually stop working for you. It has to play the commercials.
Running ManualNooter 4-6-16 stock 1.3 on the NC, and I've run into this problem:
Hulu Plus app loads fine, plays ads before the main video, but then stalls when it switches over to the main video --- at first the buffering message then a "please check your network streaming settings" or something similar and the video never loads.
I've tried using two different old Hulu Plus backup.zip via restore app+data using TiBu. Repaired permissions, etc. My wireless connection is fast enough to play Netflix app's HD streaming video without any problems.
The two thing I've modded are the LCD density (build.prop modded to 160 for market app availability fix) and SetCPU set to 600/800 conservative, 35% threshold.
Flash and other adobe products have not been updated from the stock 1.3 install.
Any ideas what's going on? I had it working fine in CM7.
The stock ROM is going to be updated shortly with both Hulu and Netflix apps included. I suggest that you wait and then root the new ROM.
Update 1.4 is supposedly coming out at the end of December, so I would question your idea of "updated shortly"
In the interim I would like to have a working Hulu without having to revert to CM7.
Im posting here because I have just registered and cant go to dev. forum.
Crashes with google voice widget. 4g doesnt work but doesnt matter as sprint has rumored to be dumping 4g anyways.
camera and gallery crashes very often (got rid of camera360) and put on cameraMX no issues.
BROWSER crashes CONSTANTLY. replaced with Operamini ...no hdmi, so the ONLY way I could get video from the phone to the tv was using XBMC frodo (xbox media center). Since my computer is on my flat panel tv it worked perfect.
If anyone has found an app that will send video/audio (divx) from phone to computer with SMB or UPNP please post.
I use ES File Explorer and MXplayer to stream divx video from computer to phone, when i dont want to use XBMC
SWYPE beta crashes, so got rid of it.
Everything is now very stable. Touchwiz will crash if you are flying through menus and you dont give apps etc a second to close/open, seems to happen when using an app that has been moved to SD.
Did you read the original post's issues section? I'm sure it very clearly states that 4G does not work, and it wont work on any ICS or JB rom either since there were no official releases of either

I just updated my Nook Color CM10.1.2 stable. I'd been told Netflix works out of box with it but I'm getting the same old endless loading screen.
The problem is I want it to use it as a Chromecast remote, so I can't just use an old Netflix APK. I need the current Netflix app with Chromecast support.
Are there newer nightlies that have out-of-box Netflix support without modified or old APKs?
EDIT: Followed the directions in this thread and all is working.
Quick question.
I'm thinking of getting the 50 percent off deal with sling TV.
I wanted to know if Skype works well with the nexus player and if there's any tweaks I'd have to do (root/sideload, etc)
The stock vanilla kernel does not support webcams so skype wont work..
lolipop rom does have a webcam support and reportedly works with Skype, but thats a full flavored android rom and may not be suitable for your needs.
Skype works with Cm12, but you'll need a mouse
