Stuck on loading - Nook Color Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
i have updated my flash to 10.3, and now i am stuck to the loading page.
Can someone let me know what to do? I know that i have to delete flash, however i dont know what to do.
I connect my nook to the PC, but it does not recognise it in order to mess with the folders...

Ok thanks, i've just deleted everything and thus ok now...

[Q] Please Help!

Please help...possible brick
Hi, I have possibly bricked my xoom...the good news is still goes into recovery, unfortunatley, i have no idea how to fix it....
ok, here are the chain of events...last night I unlocked and rooted via adb...worked flawlessly..
Installed Tiamat-Xoom-Rom-2.0-Manta-Ray...worked flawlessly, i did do a nandroid backup
installed the update 2.1....worked flawlessly
i pushed the ad-hoc via /wpa_supplicant...it was working last night
during my lunch today i fired up the xoom and connected my wifi tether from my revo to the xoom and I could only go to websites and could not access data through apps...here is where I screwed up...I flashed a zip of the ad-hoc and that didn't work either...Then I screwed up more and tryed to reflash the tiamat rom and rebooted.....
fires up the the dual core logo and stays there...
tried a recovery of my backup and the boot recovers but get error message on all the others backed up....
I can reboot into into recovery, and get adb access in recovery, but everytime i try to go to fast boot it knocks off my usb access and gets stuck...cant push anything after that.
anyone have any ideas how I can save this thing? any help would be so appreciated!
Per the thread started by generic.imitation q and a....
the SBF file from Multiupload is no longer there,,,i did get the latest version of RSD Lite (4.9) ....if anyone know how to get the sbf fine, please let me know and maybe some directions on how to use the rsd lite program....
Thanks again....I am worried!

First of all, if you can get into recovery you are nowhere near bricked. You will find a solution.
It sounds to me like you need to download the full stock image and flash it via fastboot so first priority is to get that up and running. You can download the files from Motorola and there are several good threads on how to install them and/or use adb.

Thanks for getting back to me....Thats what I'm thinking...i figure if i can get into recovery im good
but.......
I have the image files ready to go, i just cant get them flashed. i can open adb in recovery, but as soon as I reboot bootloader, it boots to flashboot and i lose adb access and cant figure out to get it back....i know i have the right drivers....
Ive tried to push through rsdlite, but i get a error when I start the flash..I have the thegiftoftheregion sbf files, but those are for hri39, and i cant find the hri66 sbf
Im at a complete loss!
Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Im at a loss

[Q] Kindle Stuck at CM7 Logo, won't boot. Help!

After transferring some music files from my sd card to my computer, I "safely ejected" the Kindle Fire and when I rebooted normally (it will go to recovery if I want it to) it gets stuck at the CM7 Logo (Andy just chills there forever on his board...).
As far as I know it's responding to most ADB commands. I have to use ADB to reboot after it gets stuck, but I'm not very fimilar with ADB commands yet. All I know how to do is remount it and reboot it. I didn't make a backup before this happened (doy!) so I don't have a previous state to restore to. I went a head and just made a backup while I was in recovery after it got stuck, and restored to that just to see if it would do anything. Of course, that didn't work. I'm still stuck at the cm7 logo.
I didn't mess with any system files or anything except normal sd card clean up, so I'm not sure why it's getting stuck at Andy. I've read up on boot loops and common ways to fix them but nothing seems to work for me. And it's not exactly stuck in a recovery loop or boot loop anyway, it just plain won't boot. Any ideas? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Do you have any dual boot app installed? As far as I know, you might have deleted some information needed for the app to boot to a different profile.

I'm not sure what that is so I'm thinking no.What is an example of a dual boot app? I'm just hanging out in recovery until I figure out what to do.
I would reccommend redownloading Cyanogenmod 7 and reinstalling...
Flash the same cm7 ROM you had without erasing data,
Sent from my Amazon Kindle Fire using Tapatalk
I have mounted the sdcard again but I can't imagine anything that I removed from the sd card is making it boot stuck. Any other ideas? I guess I could always reinstall cm7. but I don't want to do that if I don't have to.

Sorry I didn't see your messages before I posted my last one. I'm using the "update-cm7.zip". Is that what you mean by not erasing data?

Thanks! That fixed it. Do you know what I did to cause that? Or is that just something that happens?
I think that some file either deleted or corrupted.
When you flash, you have the option to maintain your data. Since you are flashing the same ROM, there is no need to erase the data to avoid installation of your apps.

[Q] stuck badly.. help please.

hello everyone.
im new with iconia a501 because its my friend's.
we tryed to update it, but its stuck in bootloop.
update we installed is oficial ota 4.0.1.
everything looked fine untill it rebooted. then system ui crashed. and it keeps rebooting and crashing .
I dont know what to do. I really feel his pain in loss.
sd card is not working, wich is not hellping.
dont have cpuid, so cant flash.
no root or cwm installed or backup...
is there any possibility to revive?
or is there any specialist in uk, who could fix it?
I think I read all threads in xda foroms. and everything I could find in google.
can't apply any method found.
any ideas? or suggestions anyone?
any help is appreciated.
I'd be trying a full wipeto fix System.ui from crashing. If u can not boot, you'll need to factory data reset....reset pin + pwr+ lock switch, tab should vibrate then erase data and cache.
Also boot while holding volume up button...do u see a fastboot menu or "skrilax_cz bootloader" screen...just to see which bootloader is on the tab.
You say sd card won't work.....wot doesn't work..check both sets of drivers are installed. ...Acer and android ones.
Hopefully the data reset will get u going...If not there's still few things we can try.
You can get yr cpuid/sbk thru apx mode using ubuntu, there's a sticky in general forum.
Thank you very much I'll try everything tonight.

Awesome news....pls ask yr friend to get the cpuid of the tab, it's the only way of fixing future potential bricks, saves a lot of stress and effort

nexus 7 troubles... no Google play (plus more)

So I have a problem that I will try explain as best as possible. I have a first gen nexus 7 that I successfully rooted a while back. I decided that I didnt want it rooted and tried to unroot it. Now when I turn the device on, the Cyanogenmod loop still comes up and when it gets to android, the play icon is gone,a nd I have no way to install apps. I downloaded the nexus 7 toolkit to try completely unroot it, but the app doesnt seem to see my device. I booted into recovery mode, but still isnt recognized. No matter what I choose, whether it be Start, restart bootloader, or recovery mode, the device will just restart and hang on the Google logo.
Any help is appreciated

So it will boot into cm but no plays tore? Flash the right gaps and then you should be fine. As for the other issue you need someone with more wisdom than me.
it boots into CM and the tablet works (mostly) fine... wifi works, all the buttons work, etc.... but the one main thing ive noticed is that play is gone and I have no way to install apps. And as i stated originally when I try to flash it back to stock, the windows app I use says the device isnt in the right mode....
bamp!

You did flag a custom Android OS, aka Cyanogenmod. Cyanogenmod doesn't contain Google Applications -> you need to flash Google Applications separately if you want to use them ...
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Download gapps for the version of cyanogenmod you have: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Google_Apps
Then flash it in recovery after you have flashed cyanogenmod.

Thanks all for the help.. What I would ideally like to do is flash the device back to stock as though I just bought it. My problem is when I boot into recovery (hit power plus vol up ((or down...cant remember which)), the device still isnt recognizxed by the computer app im using to try flash it.
bampers!!
hi

Did I ruin my G2 (won't boot, can't reflash)

So today I tried to install Omnirom on my rooted G2. I did all of the usual steps (using CWM) and then rebooted. It got stuck in a boot loop, and I realized I forgot to factory wipe/cache wipe after installing the rom. I went back to recovery and tried to wipe, but it got stuck on Formatting cache. I then noticed that CWM had problems wiping, mounting and accessing /cache. I searched around but found nothing to help me.
I then tried to unroot and return to stock using LG FlashTools and the device's Download Mode but everytime I try to flash the kdz file it fails on 47% with some "Page Error" followed by garbled Unicode characters...
Is there anything I can do?

Thanks for the reply and the link! I, however, don't have access to ubuntu, is there anyways to do this on Windows? Also, I can go to both Recovery and Download modes, if that helps.
Wipe system then retry reflashing stock.

If you still need a ubuntu, use a portable version of Ubuntu or run one from Virtua Machine. It's very difficult to boot one from your flash drive..
