Hi,
Whenever i connect my Mega with PC it syncs the time and date. I don't want this to happen. There is some setting which disables this process but i am not able to find it. Can someone please guide???

This needs to be set on ActiveSync on the desktop-PC, there is an option whether
it should be synchronized or not.

I'm wondering if I can Sync my Magician with my PC at home and the one at work ?
In order to get the same Calendar and same Contact in both PC.
I have found a freeware called : Pocket Multi Partnership Sync
But I wondering if this freeware is necessary ?
And if so how to use it ?

MS ActiveSync supports up to 2 computes. Unfortunately you will have to delete one of them if you will require to create third profile.
So, as long as you need only one at home and one at the office you are OK.

My problem with my mini is that i have to redo the connection again to sync with the other computer that has been sync before.
In my previous XDA2, you dont have to redo the sync. just click the bluetooth sync and it will look for the presnt computer.

Why not just shellexecute the activesync link (ie if you look at the activesync link in your startmenu, it runs: "repllog.exe /remote"?

if u just use UI elements to sync, just go as below:
1. click start
2. click ActiveSync
3. click Sync
if u wanna sync by your code, i don't know and i wanna know.

now i have my new MDA Pro and tried to convert all functions from XDAIII to the new device. therefor i tried to sync a view access databases to my new device BUT:
THERE IS NO possibility for sync DATABASES in Active synv 4.0 !?!?!
has anybody the same problem?

One of my favorite programs for time tracking is Timettracker from Rfcons. But I can't use it on my Universal because they use ActiveSync Access. But they're working on a workaround...

if you are using pushmail this will happen because it syncs your phone's contacts, calendar, and mail with the exchange server.

Shogunmark is right but active sync can also start via various schedules for example you may well find everything shut down at night and active sync running in the morning (running but often not actually connected to PC or anything else. Try doing the fake server trick:

Yes and i assumed that the OP meant that it was activated and syncing.. But if your not using push mail then by all means use the fake server trick to resolve your issue!

Many thanks will give the fake server trick a go.
However, this is not a problem exclusive to the Hermes, this happens on many other Pocket PC devices if not all.
I just found a simple way to bypass the exchange policy.
I did NOT make this. I just discovered the fix by searching the web.
All credits go to the developer!
I now am running the FRG33 build with exchange synchronization, BUT with pattern lock! This also enables POP3 push.
It works flawlessly !

I installed the apk and then (before I continue with it) It prompted me to define an email account. Do I have to redefine my exchange account again? If so what's with the earlier definitions.

Im sorry, but you have to set it up again. This replaces the stock mail.apk with a patched one. Therefore its like getting a new mail application, but once its set up again, you will be happy ;-)

Hi I have a little different problem download HTC SYNC when I hook up my phone the computer the computer shows connected but my phone doesn't connect do you know if there is a solution to that?
