I've been running MN 4.5.18 for a while with no problems but now app updates from the market won't download. Do I need to run market fix? Can't remember if ever rebooted and running flash 10.3 does that mean I will most likely boot loop if I reboot?

I resently deleted an App from my phone, but the market still keeps trying to update it. It just sits there saying "downloading" but never does. If I try to cancel the download, the market app crashes. Is there some way to clear this? I have tried going through Root Explorer to locate were this may be stuck, but so far haven't had any luck.
Rooted Droid2 OC'd to 1.3Ghz still on 2.2 w/stock ROM
Thanks,
Scott
Which app was it? I had this problem with pandora but it went away when I switched roms.

It was called Wtfsimfd or "what the f**know should I make for dinner" I just installed it for laughs. But it seems to have cleared up now. I just finished installing the new already rooted and Deodexed.zip sbf for 2.3.2 and that fixed it.
Thanks.

I actually am experiencing this problem currently. I downloaded and installed a sleep sounds app, had it for a couple days, then uninstalled it successfully. But then I go into the market into my downloads the app is in there with a progress bar that just says installing. Its been about a month now and no matter what I do it won't go away. Rooted d2 stock rom no oc. Any suggestions?

My problem app cleared up when I did the 2.3.2 update.
Here's the link to the file and the instructions. I used the deodexed version and it worked perfectly.

Just upgraded my Vodafone Galaxy S to JPY using the Kies patcher and although it upgraded fine, I've lost all my google apps!
Anyone else seen this or have any suggestions?
Just a brief follow-up...
Noticed that there were no longer any APNs listed so added Vodafone. Downloaded and installed Market 2.2.7 from another thread and have managed to download all the missing apps and so far seems fine (and very fast!).
Google downloaded apps missing?
How to restore that?

Thnx, however after installing the market app I did not have to manually download, after opening market couple of times all the apps I downloaded were there.

Just a heads up guys, if you dont have it i would recommend upgrading it. In the new version it only clears up some security issues, no changes. But its definitely worth having and downloading!

Yeah,it`s nice!
Have it installed since yesterday.
It`s included in latest gapps package for Gingerbread CM7!

I have to push this via adb, right?
Can anyone help me out with the command?
Or is there any way I can install this directly from my phone? Because the package installer refuses to install a system app...
(My device is rooted, so shouldn't it be possible to install this apk using terminal emulator?)

If it won't install via apk, try clearing ur market cache before install.
If that doesn't work, just put the zip (not apk) on ur sdcard and flash it in recovery.

Does this work on CM 6.1.1 Stable? I've tried installing this from other XDA threads, and I can get it installed but it always FCs on me when I try launching it.
I flashed cm7 now I'm missing the market. Is it in the googapps.zip? If not how do I get the market

Yes. Flash that.
Upon updates to the ROM, should not be an issue... if it is, flash gapps again.
Just downloaded Neflix. Works great.
Yes it does. I deleted my Netflix and downloaded the official one from the market.

what rom are you running? Im not able to make the official app run it just sits on the splash screen with its little "working" animation.
The hacked app worked well with the patch but it fc my camera
Downloaded it yesterday and tested it out. Ran fine for me.
They released a patch today that supposedly fixes bugs when using it with custom ROMs. Check that out in the market.

I had to uninstall the hacked flash then install the proper flash from the market to get the updated Netflix to work
