Is there a kernel that will turn on bluetooth on a MN nootered 1.2 nook color?
If not are there instructions on how to add it?
I am a nooby so details would be appreciated. And yes I have search but didn't find enough info to start this for 1.2.
Thanks,
lago
I've been up and down the MN thread as that's what I use, & don't recall anyone specifically stating they has sucessfully managed to duplicate any of the fixes already in use for other roms, but it may be worth combing that thread again. It's not something that GD has focused on for MN either.
Another place you may find an answer is the bluetooth experience thread in the devs subforum. It's more to do with nookie froyo, but you may find some ideas or relevant info in it.

When installing Dextermod 1.2 for elocity do I need to rename it. Are if anyone can give me the walk through steps due to be being a rookie at this.
There is a thread for this.
Look on the Android Development page in this forum and where you see the 1.2 mod thread open it and you will see detailed instructions along with a donation button.
Also you may want to refresh how to do a rom flash by going to elocity's website under support and firmware update.
That should give you all the info you need.
Makes a huge difference in the tab not only market but functionality wise as well.
Dexter is awesome.

I am new comer here and is not allowed to ask question in Developer Forum.
Can anyone relay my question to Dexter that :
After I have flashed his 1.3 version and found that the SD cannot be mounted, no system update service can be peformed since the SD card is not mounted. I wish to flash back to Dexter's version 1.2. That seems to work fine in the version 1.2.

I had similar issues, going back to boot loader and clearing cache brought everything back to normal. Watching a movie from my MicroSD right now actually

You started an interesting thread about a WiFi module in the developer forum:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=752856
I tried to post a request there for a version matching my kernel but as a newbie I couldn't post.
If possible I would like a version for 2.6.37.6-cyanogenmod-g8913be8.
I'm currently on CyanogenMod-707312011-NIGHTLY-Desire and it seems as though the WiFi disconnect at screen off issue exists in that kernel.
If you can help me that would be great.
All the best

Oops, maybe not the right forum. Re-posting in Desire General instead. Apologies.
Ok, due to lame forum rules I cannot actually post in the thread where Vache has asked us to post, namely here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1138051
Anyway, I'm posting here in an effort to get some resolution.
I upgraded Taboonay 2.1b to 2.2 yesterday and while there are some issues (like market not working and others) the main issue I'm trying to resolve is the bluetooth not working anymore. Specifically trying to get TabletTalk to sync with my phone. Anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions on how to fix?
Thanks.

It appears that B&N has posted the source to the kernel used on the 1.2 firmware of the NST at:
images.barnesandnoble.com/PResources/download/Nook/source-code/nook2_1-2.tgz
I haven't seen this listed anywhere else yet, so I thought I'd put up a link. It really belongs in the developer forum, but as I don't have enough posts to put this annoucement there, someone else will have to move it. I also apologize for not include a direct link, but the forum rules won't let me...

Hi everyone.
I've been spending a lot of time now searching the forums and google for answers regarding a problem I am experiencing with the Pixeldroid Android 4.2.2 NAND ROM. In case you are wondering I'm really bad at all this and in case I have to reflash or something like that I would be glad if it's possible to explain to me in detail what I have to do
So. I installed the ROM via magldr and clockwork mod, and to my suprise (cynanogen 10.1 jellybean 4.2 didn't work out for me) the OS booted and everything seemed to be ok. However when I wanted to check out the app store, I wasn't able to turn on the internet. I've seen people having issues where a network simply doesn't appear on their list, but I can't ENABLE WiFi connection! The slider that says on/off is greyed out and I can't interact with it in any way.
If there is any additional information needed to solve my issue I'll be happy to provide it. Keep in mind that I am very new to all of this and that I am still learning

Does noone know an answer to this one? I really have no idea what to do anymore...
