I have noticed that since the US. 141.X update the browser back button using the one in the lower left by the home button works very irradically. I have the labs feature on so the toolbar is not available and the popup one I think exhibits the same behaviour. Has anyone else noticed this?

So I just flashed the Flagship rom and I noticed it came with this "clock" app which brings up a screen that closely resembles a lock screen but it has some buttons on the bottom instead. Does anyone know what this up is or what it does? If I press the menu button it says something about docking and how I cant use the audio button without docking it first. Can someone explain?
Thanks
That would be the stock android clock. The clock button allows you to add and edit alarms. The next button is slideshow. The music button brings up the default music app. The home button takes you to the home screen, it's meant for use with a dock.
Hope this helps!

Since 2 days now i have a big issue with my home button. usually when i was pressing it. it was going to my home screen. Now, i get a new page that only show me the clock, meteo and a few apps that are useless on the bottom of the screen. I never asked my phone to change it and i can't find the settings to revert it back to normal. Anyone knows how to fix it ? i dont want to re-install the hole thing.
Thanks !
What launcher do you use? Stock firmware? Rom?
Must be another Launcher installed...
TWLauncher will bring you to Homescreen 1
screenshot would help? are you on a custom rom or launcher?
Just to debunk the obvious: With TW launcher your home screen is the first one, the one to the far left. However, when you exit an app with the Home button, it simply takes you to the last screen you were on. So if you set i.e. the middle screen as your "home" and kept using it thinking it was your actual home screen, you may have thought that the Home button was taking you back to your "home screen," and now you may have noticed that pressing the Home button while you're not in an app takes you to the one to the far left instead.
I don't think you're an idiot, but just for the record.
I just had the same thing happne to me as well. It was alsco discussed in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1116748&highlight=home
After turning the phone off and on its back to normal. No idea how it happned
So on my Nexus 4, running CM 10.1 Nightlies, I have a strange issue with the software buttons.
When the "menu" button appears in 'legacy' applications that lack an on screen overflow menu, instead of a single tap on the navigation bar menu button opening the menu, it opens recent apps. A long press however, opens the menu. This has been the case since I flashed Cyanogenmod, and was actually the way I customised the button set up on my previous Nexus S. I presume, somehow, that the preferences have been transferred, and although functional, it is a tad annoying!
I waited to report the issue till the Navigation Bar customisation options had been merged into CM, but I can't fix the issue using the options now available. Also, I'm not accidentally hitting the recent apps button, I don't have huge fingers.
Anyone got any ideas? Much appreciated if you can think of a way of fixing it without wiping the thing and starting again...Or even if you just have an idea how the setting transferred!
No-one got any ideas? Damn...
Is anyone having issues with the home button? I will tap the home button to go to the home screen, but instead, it will take me to the recent apps menu about half the time. This is getting really annoying, and I'd like to get it fixed.
Does anyone else have this issue/know how to fix it? Is this a software or hardware issue?

Sounds like a mix of software / user issue to me.
I was doing the same thing so try this and see if it feels better.

With default settings a quick tap will bring you home after about 1.5 seconds
holding it brings up your recent apps, it sounds like you're holding it for the 1.5 seconds as you're expecting a delay for it to go to the home screen and its causing it to open up recent apps.
To remove this 1.5 second delay double tap home quickly and open up S-Voice, when S-Voice opens hit your menu button and turn off the double tap home to open, then close the app.
Now when you hit home there will be no delay as the system doesn't pause to wait for a second tap to open up s-voice and it just goes home. it also means you won't feel the need to hold it until it goes home inadvertently causing you to open up multitasking instead.
Hi guys, I would just like to have everyone know I love my Note 4 N910F but the one I absolutely hate about it is the recent apps button lag is ridiculous. I was hoping that the Lollipop update would fix the massive delay/lag when pressing the recents button and although it did a little bit, there's still a massive delay. I used a Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 which were both low-mid range phones that had absolutely no lag when pressing the recents button.
I'm currently on Rooted Stock Lollipop, is there anything that can be done to make recent apps pop up more instanty? I'll flash another Lolipop Rom providing it's fast, stable with good battery life and someone can confirm there is no recents delay?

Actually there is no lag. It is a feature when holding recent button it acts as a menu button. There is a same thing with home button, it waits for double click to open s voice instead going to home instantly. You can disable s voice but I think you can't disable menu button feature.
