I think you need to do wipe / factory reset then it should work.

Hi,
I've just tried upgrading my Gen1 phone from a nightly (25?) to CM7.0.0.
I've used ClockworkMod 3.0.2.7, and ran the upgrade file through that. After that I selected to reset the phone, and an Android logo appears, but it doesn't change - I've given it fifteen minutes.
I can get back into clock work mod by turning on power+menu+volume up, and I've tried factory resetting and deleting out the cache, and starting again, but that doesn't help. Any ideas?
I've tried installing a number of different ROMS, 7.00, 7.03 - another thing else I can try? The result is always the same - even if I wipe - do a factory reset and cache reset - just the Android robot.
I've also just tried upgrading 3.0.2.7 within Clockwork Recovery to 4.0.0.5 Gen1 - it said 'All done' but on resetting, it's still at 3.0.2.7?
I don't think 4.0 is for Gen 1.
It was the Gen 1 version of it.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'm still stuck with a dead phone, and not one I could really send back to Orange...
Restore a Gen 1 compatible version of CWM via Fastboot.

yeah reflash a your ROM and never do that agian, unsure of you were trying todo; though reads like you were trying to shrink your VM heap, may I ask why

can't be doing those phone things to tablets.
if you can get into APX mode, you can nvflash your bootloader and cwm recovery. You may also be able to run an EUU if you remembered to keep your UID number. This will be needed in both cases.
But a good way to start.
i've got into APX Mode, and now how to install Nvflash? Or how to use EUU?
I got in some thread that they say, it's the SBK that make us can't use the nvflash, can u help me, with the link to install nvflash at iconia tab a500?
Up, Please help, i've got into APX Mode and don't know what to do next, really, i search in entire google and don't know what to do
I can't find an answer to this anywhere.
I tried giving my rooted tf300t a factory reset and it's stuck on the android upgrading screen (the one with the android guy and the blue thing moving around inside of him). I've tried volDown and power. It doesn't take me to my custom recovery. It won't even turn all the way off. It just keeps resetting and going back to the upgrading screen.
The only funky thing I did that may have caused this is that to factory reset, instead of going to CWM, I used settings->backup&reset->factory reset. I don't have any idea what to do to fix it. Right now im letting it die altogether. Hopefully then I can get into recovery.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
*I've also attached a photo of the screen if my description wasn't enough.
*SOLVED...turns out it just took whole 2 hours to factory reset...who knew

Hello everyone!
Need help while my wife is not in the topic yet (
There is a Michael Kors Sofie MKT5021 watch, made a reset, reconnected to the phone.
They started to blunt, cleaned the cache of programs (by deleting data and cache), disabled Google Fit.
I did a reboot and they now load only up to the desktop screen and start blinking, there are no any widgets, I can't go into the menu for reset settings,
I can only boot into safe mode, but it's the same, there is no menu, nothing.
How else can they be reset to factory ones with only one main button?
Thanks/
