Hi Folks,
I just sold my Wildfire and got Sony Ericsson Arc. Wildfire was my first Android device and I want to thank you all for great work providing custom ROM's and themes etc. I learned a lot from here. Thanks again
Congrats, enjoy your Arc, and with SE finally opening their doors to unlocked systems, its a good time to have one.

Hi all,
I've been visiting these forums for some time now to gain info on my Xperia and I've finally decided to become a member so I can contribute to threads.
I have a question regarding screen quality though,
is it possible to install custom video drivers taken from other android devices in order to improve resolution or colour display?
Thank you for your time!
The phone has to be nand unlocked to do so..its still WIP.

Well, it's not true. Check here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=829660, step #4 does just what you want.

Hi All
I have been a firm beliver in xda-developers, and a follower since the begginings with the manual reverse engineering of the HTC Wallaby and its great to see the growth through the years.
I am about to take delivery of a new SE play
I currently use a SE X10 running a custom rom which is 400% better than the stock SE rom. I am hoping I will be able to do the same thing with my Play
I had a search but cant see anything with regards to the play and custom rom developement. So is there any news of one coming, or does one already exist?
Thanks all
Alex
Efforts are being done on an Xperia Arc by Blagus. Given that Xperia Arc, Play and Neo share much of the same internal architecture, it should be easy to bring one ROM to the other two phones. At any rate, it's a good time to wait and cheer for the devs.
Here you go..

Hmm If I had time I would love to learn about android etc and help out!
I will sit tight and cross my fingers
Well, I have had and supported the x8 since the launch date. But now its time for me to move on, Purchased an Xperia Play a few days back and I must say its a brilliant device. I will always check up the updates with the X8 community but my main head lies with the Xperia Play now
I will also be donating my Xperia X8 to doixanh, as he has made me keep the device for so long. In true words the device belongs to him for such great accomplishments. He did something SE never did.
Respect goes out to doixanh, racht, blagus and all the fellow X8 developers and community.
Wish you all the best
Dx its very busy are now ... why dont you give you x8 for another dev..

Hey there guys and girls!
I know its nothing new but the idea of having a off-topic thread really hits the beat.
Was getting bored and there were a lot of OTT to choose from...so i decided to create a new one.
I know its so awesome of me to call off-topic threads as OTT!
This OTT will be known as **Gabbar Singh** LoL
Gabbar Singh: Hello World!
Its time to say hi...
*P.S. your participation is seriously appreciated, cause am still getting bored*

I was thinking of discussing this with you people.
The Idea: Using the free storage in the external memory card as additional RAM in our android machines
Verdict: Rate it on a scale of 10 and obviously your comments are anticipated.

How many are you excited for the new BB10 ?
Though some of features announced are quite common in android but I am quite excited to see if the new rim dna is up for competing against the droid.

Yeah, sonyvdrvice is easy to unlock, there many root workarounds in the forums, and good roms, BUT beware of the slow update and they just abandon even the flagship phone a year before the current year...
But still... FXP Team is there to support whatever sony phone you'll buy...
My xperia arc s is running fxp cm9 which im using to reply to this thread... lol...!

Hello everyone,
the moderating team assigned to your forum has decided to no longer allow any offtopic threads whether those were previously sanctioned by moderators or not.
We have come to this decision due to the fact that those threads offer absolutely nothing to the device specific forum or to development in general.
After all the name of the site is xda-developers.
If you feel the urge to engage in any offtopic discussion, the offtopic forum is always at your disposal.
As such, this thread is now closed.
Please understand that this decision was made only to streamline the forums and to enhance the user experience.
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation,

Hello my dear brothers and friends in xda.. Its time to say good bye to the Xperia Z community.. I have sold my lovely XZ for doing an operation for my mother. She had leg pain and now she alright. But i am here without a device for a long time...
Recently one of my old grand ma gifted me some amounts. So i decided to purchase an Xperia Z2. Soon i will get that and then will move to Xperia Z2 section..
I wish to thank to all the members here in xda. I can't tell any name because every one is important for me.. Thanks to all for giving me a big support here.. Loves you guys..
I will continue all my work here.. In XZ and XZ2 section as well..
Thanks again for the big support my friends... Hope u all will get Lolipop update ( bug free ) from sony soon... Will update all my roms after Lolipop update from Sony for Xperia Z..
Thanks again guys...
Good Bye...
You've mad a lot of awesome ROMS..
Thank you bro..
Good luck with Xperia Z2...
It's a good device
We don't really need a new thread for everyone who leaves to another device. If you already have a thread you can post it there, but a new thread isn't needed.
