Okay i got this phone like a month ago and i tried updating it a couple weeks ago to 1.83 and i kept getting the triangle and exclamation mark. I had rooted with gingerbreak, deleted some bloatware ( and didnt backup :'( ), and loaded a custom boot animation. So to get the bloatware back i did a factory reset and now its like how it was when i first got it except it still has super user and it still gives me the triangle!!!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Hello guys...
Okay so I came across a problem.I was on Liberty 2.0.1 room and for some reason I though it was be okay to just flash a gb rom I honestly forgot the name of the rom sorry </3..Anyways so i flashed it on top of liberty i did wipe and everything but when everything finished it stayed on boot screen....I let it sit there for a while but im guessing it doesn't take 2 hrs to boot....So im asking if theres any solutions for my problem ?
Sbf... Or maderstock from clockwork if you already have it on your sdcard

You might try flashing a backup from clockwork if you have one.

You need to boot into recovery and try wiping data and cache again. if that doesn't work you will have to send back to stock. Guide can be films here

Well the thing is I can't boot into clockwork.Only recovery I can boot into is stock one..
You can wipe from stock recovery. If that doesn't work will have to flash sbf.

I knew this would happen eventually...
I flashed an update to go from liberty 2.0.1 to liberty gingerbread nightly... all was well until the reboot when it goes straight to bootloader. I can't get into stock recovery... do i have to Sbf?

If you cant acces CWD and are stuck at the boot logo then yes. Did you try to do a battery pull?

If you are on GB the stock recovery button pattern is different. I had the same problem on my dx. You should Google it and try that. I don't remember the button pattern. Pm me if you need more help.

Flashing a new is sbf is very easy I just done mine yesterday ( bricked mine trying to change rom too.) Now I'm back up and running without an issue. Pm me for the link to the sbf if you still need it

your ol' lady's gonna be pissed.....
Ok..sbfd...was really easy compared to using nvflash on tegra2. The longest part of the whole thing was dling the sbf file over a ****ty mi-fi connection.
Z4 root, liberty toolbox nightly, bam - running liberty gb.
Not so bad... hopefully wont bar my gf from allowing me to **** around with her phone in the future.

Hi I have been trying to flash SBF for about 2 weeks now. Can someone please point me to the 1.5.7 sbf that they know works. I have tried about 4 different files. And it either goes straight to processing and finishes in about 2mins then gives error, the other file goes fine and takes about 35min to finish but then gives the error cannot flash file. Iam now rooted on 1.83 but cannot enable webtop hack and would like flash a clean build. Thanks.

Think you have to flash. 1.2.6 retail sbg we have here first, than update to 1.5.7. No sure if you can go back from 1.8.3 but I was reading that some people here did it without any issues

I got the .57 webtop hack to work on .83 after clearing my /data.
Not sure why this works (I had try to clear everything *dock* *portal* etc in /data already) but it did.

I am 100% sure this link works. Ive flashed it myself several times.
http://bandbinnovations.com/xda/OLYFR_U4_1.5.7_SIGNED_OLPSATTSPE_P012_HWolympus_1g_1FF.sbf.gz
Consider using RSDLite 5.0 and not any newer versions.

Hey I have a DX...it is rooted. But I'm giving it to my daughter and I want to wipe it before I do. If I just do the system factory reset will it lose the root? Any help on this will help. I have already manually taken all of my apps and pics off of the phone just need to set it up to be hers. Thank in advance.
If you still have ClockwordMod Recovery installed, just wipe data.

Okay, now that I have that done...Did the wipe through Recovery Screen. The phone won't reboot...it's stuck on M screen upon reboot. What did I do wrong?
PS ~ Looked around on here and it said to do another wipe because of the sticking on Motorola Logo screen...I did that...it still sticks at Logo Screen. Did I brick this phone?? Please tell me I didn't and there is a way to fix this. Battery is fully charged, can take it out and get to recovery screen...it is just not going passed the Logo screen.
you can never loose root from a factory wipe .
From what I know Rom manager and bootstrap dont play nice.
Sounds like it's sbf time.
Listen just sbf, root, install boostrap and be done with it .
Rom manager can be a pita and unless you're going to be installing roms, not worth it imo.
