The 10 most annoying smartphone habits
I would like to add just one more...
11. Those who have been "*****ing" at Sony Ericsson for the last few months on not updating to 2.1 since like last year 2009 January ( yes the phone was not made as yet ) ... but you get the idea.... let us keep things in perspective... it's only a smartphone people!!!!!

Should be a phone - smarts is extra.
Volume issues? What volume issues?
Low volume ear piece. Easily drained.battery
Gunawan, GN Mutimedia & X10i
How it doesn't lose itself down the sofa like a tvs remote, ergo be a tv remote... then it would be smart!

Complaining is fine by me, but just don't open a new thread for it. Do it in the same one, just like how you did now.

I dont experience low volume and regarding battery, check your apps! I deleted a world time app last night and going from barly lasting a day i'm now on 50% and i've had wifi enabled all day. So bad battery is most likely due to a faulty app sucking insane amounts of juice. Cheers ;-)

Just found this interesting and thought Id share.
I was watching Bag of Bones starring Pierce Brosnan on A&E last night. He was waiting on his dead wife to send him a message from the great beyond when his cell phone rang. I saw the top edge of the phone ...silver power button...earphone jack...cover for usb port. It was our beloved X10 making a nice cameo in a mini-series.
Couldnt tell whether it was running on stock or custom ROM..lol.

I am pretty sure the male and female leads in "Friends with Benefits" both had X10's that were prominently displayed.

Hello,
So, I need a new lcd screen, the current one is faintly duplicating things near the left and at the left edge of the screen, there is a grey strip of pixels.
So, I need to know how much these things cost, where I can get it from (I'm in the UK) and how I replace the LCD.
Thanks!
Sent from my R800i using MIUI
I cant help you find a screen but the screen on my Xperia play has started to deteriorate too. I get kind of a ghosting effect for some reason, it has gotten worse over time but its not too annoying.

Yes, I get exactly that ghosting effect...
It is starting to make a horrid buzzing sound now, so I am thinking of getting a new LCD.

For R800i
If someone didn't wanna do it manually how much would it cost to replace a LCD Screen ?

As far as I can tell, all the LCDs are compatible. In fact, these phones use a dual-mode CDMA/GSM chipset with different radios connected so they should use the same housings and LCDs and everything. I used a ZL1 touchscreen glass digitizer on my R800at, if that helps.
Barely legal to drink im only 18 yes all the lcds above are compatible with your se xperia play...but dont mean the quality is as good as the original screen that iw in it now
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA Premium App
Well, either you need to spellcheck or not use unfamiliar abbreviations, because no one is quite sure what you're saying, lol!

I understand and any irish would ;0
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA Premium App
Lol but the ghosting is on all R800's. It's because of the low refresh rate and it gets a bit worse in low temperatures. It's a problem that affects all LCD's

I *highly* doubt that. If you even bothered to re-read your original post that prompted that, you would see.
Even without correcting your capitalization, things are SO much clearer with a little punctuation and better word choice:

Why is it a question? Also, most of the English-speaking world does not use or understand "post" as a verb. The rest is just a mess. I can't understand why you simply argued and never went back to fix this one yourself. I can't believe I was able to understand it enough to fix it. I don't know how you could expect someone else.

I'm actually holding my Xperia PLAY tight in my hand whilst watching the vid
So, "it broke a while ago"..then later it's "it might be working, I don't know", and he removed the sim and memory card...and he hits with the hammer like a little girl..what a **** IMO.
I do like how he managed to capture it all on his slim vertical potato camera though.
