HI all, dear rom creator,please help me to send back my shadow to life,recenty,it worked fine,but in another way,I've seen the wm6.1 update from t mobile and I've flashed it to my phone,I'm sure I've sspl and uspl before I've done it,but it seems that the file was corrupted when i've flashed it into my phone,and now,my shadow don't have any os image into it,it just hang on the stick together screen,I can do anything like hard reset,enter bootloader,but can't flash any over os into it including all t mobile shipped rom,so I think that it is cid locked because when I try to flash a rom,just 2% and none,please dear rom creator,what shoul I do?what can I do for unlocking the cid in bootloader?what solution can be found to my device???

Hey all,
I am sorry posting the repeated question again, but this has a bit of a twist, and to this, i searched and didnt find any answer around.
My friends just bought a HTC P3300 from China. It came with a chinese DOPOD rom.
I had the original Shipped htc rom with me there so i upgraded my 1st friends mobile, with the shipped rom successfully, and then upgraded it to wm6 successfully.
now when i flashed my 2nd friend's device with the HTC Shipped rom, the upgrade process went to 3% and then the device just restarted and got stuck on the Initial dopod boot screen.
It is not moving from there.
So i downladed a couple of other roms, including the DOPOD ship rom,. but when i try to upgrade it, it says " ERROR:200, The Upgrade Software is outdated" kinda message!
now can someone please guide me how can i bring alive my friends rom, what is it i should do to successfully install some rom in it in English.

Did you cid unlock the hone either with USPL or IMEIcheck? If so, you should be able to load an OEM rom back on the phone. Try the HTC WWE WM5 rom or the German WM6...I dont see any reason why an unlocked phone wont accept at least one of those.

No, i dont know if it was cid unlocked or not.
About USPL or IMEICHECK, nothign was done on it.
As i mentioned, one phone got flashed successfully, but the other failed!
I have tried the HTC WWE WM5 shipped rom, if thats what u are hinting to, but not the German WM6.

My phone is not bricked, but I was able to try running the USPL ROM Update utility on my phone from bootloader. I have zero idea if this would unbrick your phone, but its worth a shot - cant get much worse (or can it?). Download the USPL file, and run just the rom update utility with your phone in bootloader. After it resets your phone, put it back into bootloader and try reinstalling an OEM rom. I am probably wasting your time, but its worth a shot....

Good Idea but ... not correct!
Your device might be CID locked and you were able to run USPL from bootloader, because ... you already have had USPL. Am I right?

at first i want to thank you for any solution or info you provide in this forum, it helped me in a lot of cases.
I'm looking for a solution for a problem i'm facing, I have two P4350 which the second is from a friend of mine.
This P4350(HERA100 IPL/SPL 4.x the second device) was bought through ebay and had the german windows mobile 6.0 on it. I couldnt flash the WWE edition of windows mobile 6 because of an error saying "Invalid Vendor ID" so i assume it was a CID Locked.
So I did the first thing i found on this forum and after a lot of reading on how to do it, i installed the Hard SPL from Aserg. The problem is when I try to install the extended rom which comes from the distributor here in Greece of HTC Phones.
Apparently they have done something and somehow it recognizes that i have installed wrong SPL and always reboots(it displays an error msg inside the OS enviroment and after 5 sec it reboots) when the WWE OS start after the installation of the programs inside off Extended ROM.
So after some more reading i found that i could have used the USPL method for bypassing the CID Lock. Correct?
Now my problem is that I want to remove the Hard SPL to install the officially shipped edition of SPL + WWE ROM using USPL.
Whichever solution I use to remove the Hard SPL it just wont go away!
I even installed the German edition again with the hope that it will install the stock SPL again. It says that is being flashed but the SPL doesnt even change! While the ROM is being flashed correctly and windows boot without any problem
I have tried Flash Center, Stock Rom(German & WWE) and lots of different removals for Hard SPL but nothing worked!
Is there any workaround/solution for this problem? I have no problem to use any tools or console based ones but I need some information or a tutorial so as to not brick the device.

Hello, I need some help from local guru`s please.
I tried to unlock X7500 with AthenaUnlocker by Olipro, from sticky.
In step2 (unlock radio) i had an communication error, probably I didnt cheked my battery, and the procces stopped in the middlle.
Now I got black screen, cannot sync with activesync, phone not start-up(((( at all.
Tryed hardreset, try to repeat the proccess in boot-mode, but no succes.
Unfortunatly I cant flash new Rom, cause this one is uniqe from operator with hebrew build-in. There is some other solution I can try? Maybe some repair tool?
Pls, any help will be useful. Tnx in advance!

Try to take out you memory card and sim card.then go to booloader mode a try to flash official ROM.
Yeah, i guess i can repair phone by flashing rom, but i asking if there is solution without flashing? Cause there is no oficcial rom by cellcom_il.. (((

I used the wrong bootloader upgrade tool the first time and had the same problem - only the bootloader would come up and I thought I had bricked it. I had to re-flash with the stock ROM (available here: http://www.htcamerica.net/support/advantage7501/software-downloads.html ). Then used the bootloader upgrader ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=316846 ). Then you can upgrade the radio to 1.57.
My htc touch had a broken screen because it fell on the ground. Today i replaced the screen with a new one and since then my htc can't get passed the smart mobility screen. The phone is resetting itself and showing smart mobility. I tried flashing some onyx roms which still work but after a succesful flash it still is stuck at smart mobility screen. I can get into bootloader mode and hard resetting is working too. Did i break something while installing the new screen or is this a software issue? How can i force my htc touch into loading windows mobile?

try flashing shipped ROM, if problem persists, then there is some hardware problem.
I have flashed my original backup and it did solve the problem. But when i flash a custom rom again it will flash the rom but won't pass the smart mobility screen. I have hspl3.10 and ipl 3.10. How can i make a custom rom work again?

try flashing another custom rom...
tried 3 onyx roms and athar premium, none of them are working. It is a bit strange that only the original rom does boot and none of the custom roms. Should i flash another rom or is it something else?

yes just try miky rom or our ahen series rom...
flashing miky now and downloading ahen, hope some of them will work....
Tried both roms but neither of them did start, still stuck at smart mobility and rebooting itself

The moment you install a shipped rom it tries to install it's ipl and spl but you have hspl and it can't replace it. I believe it has some influence on (or corrupts ) your hspl in such a way that custom roms can't install properly.
I would remove hspl, flash a shipped rom what will cid lock again your device, then start all over again: unlock your cid, install hspl and flash a custom rom.

I did have the problem before the hspl but maybe it will help to start all over again. Problem is i don't know how to remove hspl. The rom i used to "revive" my elf was build from component of my dumped rom. It only contained the os and ext os (radio, spl and ipl were excluded). Shall i build another rom including all the components like radio, spl and ipl and flash this rom to my touch when i have my hspl removed?

While I was flashing wapvirus' WM 6.5 build 23004 Titanium Neo Shadow last summer I did some mistakes and my Prophet got broken. I've flashed a NVID rom and I saved my lovely PPC . But some times I power off and power on (shutting device up not the screen) it locks down in cloudy Qtek screen or depletes its battery When it locks down I perform a hardreset and it opens. But I'm sick of this. Is there a cure for this? Please help this newbie
Edit: I used that NVID rom for a while and flashed Gullum's TNT v4.

What do you mean by "mistakes" and have you performed a HardSPL especially after flashing the Qtek NVID.
The other thing to do is to use Lokiwiz 2b to unlock the CID (superCID)
This should give you a few starters or if in doubt have a deep read of the Wiki page.
I mean I did something wrong. I don't remember.
And I didn't performed a HardSPL before flasing rom or flashing NVID.
And thanks for your advise but Does CID unlock damage G4? There's an warning like "WARNING DO NOT PERFORM THIS IF YOU HAVE A G4 PROPHET (IPL/SPL 2.xx.0001)

Okay forget the Lokiwiz for now as I was not aware your device was a G4 and make sure you flash the phone with a HardSPL before you do anything as not doing so has caused a majority of your problems.
Once you've flashed that then flash the phone with the Qtek NVID or another one I found that works just as well is the Orange WWE as this also contains a NVID. Once you have flashed the ROM it is vital that you perform a hard reset as this will solve most minor issues.
See how you get on with that.

That's right make sure you flash the HardSPL before the new ROM.
As a precaution I always flash the HardSPL before installing any ROM, although you don't actually need to.
In fact I can't flash things to my Lovely Prophet 'cause I have to study hard (really hard) for a short time. Thanks for your help Dixiesmu. If I succeed or fail I'll bother you. Be sure of this.
