HTC Tytn ~ No Service

Hi Every1!!
I have used HTC Tytn with Windows Mobile 5 previously... today I have bought another one with windows mobile 6 professional...
It was prefectly alright... I tried GPRS/Edge... Msging... Calling... Everything....
I tried to install persian language... it asks for reset... I do it... and after that my HTC stops at Windows mobile logo for a long time... I reset thrice and then take out the battery pack... remove SD Card... Remove Sim... and it works...
But after that when i have inserted sim it shows No service...
Although i have tried to change the automatic network selection to manual from Start> Settings> Personal> Phone> Network
It shows all the services availble in my country but when i select the one i am using.. It first shows the message box registring sim on the network.. and then the same error...
I have tried multiple sims but not a single sim works.. while the same sims are working absouletly great in the other sets
Can any body help me to solve this problem...
I guess it is due to windows mobile 6... can any body guide me how to uninstall wm6 and install wm5!!

If you bought the Hermes 2nd hand it could have been reported stolen meaning that you won't get it working on the network. It may also be locked but I'd suggest checking with your network if it has been reported stolen. You'll need the IMEI number, dial *#06# to get it.
If its not you could try to sim unlock it.

but i m able to recive msgs on that sim... how is that possible if set is blocked??....
I have searched on the internet.... this problem also arises to other uers who upgraded from WM 5 to WM 6.. thats why i have thought that this problem is due to WM 6..
Any body guide me how to unistall WM6 and install WM5

Question regarding internet connection wizard

I am just about to bid on an unlocked Touch HD - I am currently using HTC Hero on 3UK ..... I love the phone but want a windows mobile phone also (dont ask why but I have always had wm)
The question I would like to ask if anyone can assist me is , on previous htc wm phones I have had, there is a internet connection wizard which configues the phone for internet .and most time it prompts when the sim is inserted
3 dont support in theory the touch hd and there are no connections shown on the three website but I know I can use it if unlocked which the one im looking at is ...
Can anyone tell me if the phone has internet wizard ??

Unlocked HD help

Hello all, new to this site and the Touch HD so apologises if this is posted in the wrong place or if my terminology isn't the best. I am hoping someone can give me a little advice and help. I have recently bought an unlocked Touch HD as I was getting bored with my Nokia N97. The UK network (3) I am with does not offer the HD on contract but can provide "settings" to make the phone work with the network provider.
Now this is where it gets tricky (I think), the network offers the background settings by phone make only, and the Touch HD was in that list (as was the HD2). But the phone I bought from ebay was upgraded from Windows Mobile 6.1 to 6.5, would this effect the settings I would need to get? Would I need to choose the settings for the HD2 since it runs Windows Mobile 6.5 as standard or will the Touch HD setting be ok (I assume the settings are for using the phone online?). Or will the phone and all it's function just work since it has been unlocked?
Hope this makes sense and someone can help me out.

HTC HD2 Gprs problem

I have HTC HD2 got on contract from T Mobile UK couple of years before having windows mobile on it. Recently I have changed my service provider from T Mobile to Orange after finishing contract with T Mobile. I unlocked the phone so it can work on any network.
In the meantime when I was using T Mobile service, I had replaced the operating system from Windows mobile to Android. So when I changed the provider and unlocked my phone, my phone and mobile internet gprs was working fine on Android with Orange. Couple of days before I install windows mobile (T Mobile version of win mobile as phone was not accepting original win mobile for HTC HD2 and giving error) again on my HTC HD2. Now the problem is that phone is working fine for making and receiving phone calls but mobile internet is not working. I have checked the Data Connection Setting and only T Mobile is shown as network connection in the list, I have tried setting up different network connection as Orange but didnt work. I can't be able to delete T Mobile in the network connection list. When I select the country as UK, only T Mobile is shown in the list.
If anyone can help and provide the best solution, will appreciate. Thanks a lot.

try use rom manager for fix permission maybe it can help to fix problem

[Q] HD2 which type of lock is it no network problem

I have HTC hd2 bought used In india, however i guess its from uk with pink circle when its starts dont know which branding is it
It was showing network when i bought was with wm 6.5 modified rom
However when i flashed it to wp7 phone starts even sim is recognized, but there is always small cross on network i.e no network at all.
I can search networks manually but only Vodafone IN network is shown
So guys Please help me which lock is it it, also what can be done to bypass this problem

Man! We need more tips to guess it!!!

Which ROM you used?
What is the Radio version?
Are you able make mobile calls or not?
Pdaimatejam rom 7.8 version neeeds 3g fix to gain mobile data and other roms are fine since not seen anythreads related to mobile data connection issues.

It was hardware issue
Thanks guys for your help,
I figured it out it was hardware issue,
Network oin roaming worked because it consumes more power
in home due to less power consumption it was not getting network
For any 1 who knows about hardware repair , The person who repaired just disassembled it and gave hot blow airr on the circuits it voila it worked:laugh:
Though he charged me rs.500 ( around 15 US dollar) just for hot air Im glad it worked
