Broken links in Tutorial section--DZ goldcard - G2 and Desire Z General

Since I am new to the forums I have to post here. There doesn't seem to be any fixes I could find in the forums.
The original tutorial: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=832503
This has been picked up in another post.

ahh! wiki ruined my life and all this time i thought my wizard had a microwave in it!
I compiled a massive update to the ROM section of the Wiki. (“LINK HERE”)
All the ROMs are original ship ROMs, no repacks of any kind.
I’ve spent the last two months trying to find all the original ship ROMs however I wasn’t able to find all of them.
Below is a list of the ROMs I haven’t been able to find, and there must be others I don’t know about.
Missing ROMs
Just in case someone wants to help.

A site with collection of roms for herald/wing??

Hello, about a month ago, while i was looking to posts, there was a link about herald/wing roms, reviews tools screenshots etc all in one place.
Now i am looking for this site but, between thousands of links hard to find it..
And as i understand from that post, it was a wellknown site between this forums users..
Thanks for anybody that might help me find it
The wingster is the only one that I know of
http://thewingster.com/default.aspx
they also have rom info for the TP2...
That was it.. thanks a lot
I'm going to move this to General since it has nothing to do with the development of roms.

[Q] Guide for Installing Custom ROMS

Hi,
I have run a guide on the ZTE Blade on MoDaCo right from the initial launch of the device.
The guide at MoDaCo (I can't link because I am too new on this forum) is designed for new users to understand how to get started with custom roms and is also supposed to keep all users up-to date with the new ROMS and changes to existing ROMS.
The Question I have - I know that XDA is a big community and I believe that users would benefit from having access to my guide; should I Link to my guide from a thread here - or Keep a Duplicate thread in this forum?
Here is a non click-able link
android.modaco.com/content/zte-blade-blade-modaco-com/319831/25-dec-installing-the-modaco-custom-rom-from-scratch-and-other-roms/
It's a great guide, I read it a week ago or so when browsing for information on the ZTE Blade and it's modding capabilities and status of current custom ROMs. As an Ubuntu user I especially like the Linux specific step-by-steps
Would love to see it in "XDA markup", meaning "ported" to this forum since it would be easier to follow when you're used to this forum's style. Although, it's very easy to follow due to being well written and constructed, so you'd have to weigh that against the pain keeping two versions in sync.
Dunno what forum policy is regarding just linking to another site/forum, but I think this guide should be sticky somewhere on XDA. It would definitely keep down the numbers of questions and new threads

Latest in upgrading your galaxy tab to gingerbread...

Hi, guys!
I don't 'wonna disturb all you hard working developers and other users, but as I was going thru all the sources it seemed like a good waste of time and I think it should all be rewritten for a simpler use...
IF YOU OWN A GSM TAB AND WISH TO UPGRADE IT TO 2.3.3. GINGERBREAD, THEN FOLLOW THIS:
1. Flash your GSM TAB GP-T1000 (only) with the following instructions:
2. There is an upgrade to this ROM, the "RC1" pack (use it at your own risk), at the following link:
As I myself had gone all the way round all this and finally came to the above mentioned procedures, I was lucky enough not to brick my tab, yet following some procedures made me do a repair described at the following links:
MY PROCEDURE, MY EXPERIENCE:
1. I followed this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1083971
2. Then I was made to do the following to repare the damage from "step 1":
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1073854
Finally I had discovered the methods mentioned at the beginning of this posts, which are more reliable and to the point...
Hope this helps all of you, who did not make it to the 2.3.3. yet...
Edit : already mod look at it
+1 for me the firmware provided by the OP in that forum were error free when I tried them. I was new to flasing then.
Yet I am quite surprised that you are allowed to make a comparison between that forum and xda.
Also why would you recommend an upgrade using a non official firmware? JQ1 is quite outdated now.

All necessary links, already contained in two guides.
@ the OP...
Whilst we appreciate you taking the effort to put this guide together with the intention of helping people out. I feel that its probably wise to close the thread as this information is already available from older more established threads.
Theres also the fact that some users may be confused at being directed off site for a tutorial then being directed back to XDA to download a file....
Please dont take this personally its just that I think it would be better for new users to follow an older guide thread where most of the likely questions have already been asked and answered
Cheers
