Run the Runupdateutility.exe, not the DAF.exe,
if installing Magldr:
Next time use the search tool (or google), got the solution with the first hit.

i think i have the magldr on my phone already, i have the boot menu, when i select "5 usb flasher" to flash a android rom, i got the errors above.

what radio do you have?

I have no idea, i was following the sticky post, then I just got stuck:

dont enter bootloader.. power off the phone first, then press and hold the power button (just pressing turns the device on but holding it will let u access magldr menu, you do have magldr flashed already right??) and keep on holding until the full menu appears..
scroll down to usb flasher
then plug in ur usb
u'l notice that after the "usb flasher..." text on screen, the text "usb" will appear next (that means phone is plugged in properly)
then proceed to dwi.exe flashing
all should go well from there
An error has occurred

Take a look on this thread; I think this can helps you.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=881958
About the best!? Wel this is a difficult question, all depends of your taste/use and needs.
But personally I have bean using lately a Android Desire HD build, and I was satisfy.
PS; I see you have install the latest 3.14 EU/Asian stock ROM, if you will use a Android SD build you don't need to use HSPL neater you have to change your radio.
In case you have the attention to use/install a Android NAND build, than you need first to downgrade your stock rom to be able to install HSPL.
Some very good advice to you if you want to progress as a human being and be more independent is to go read.
You read 10 forums? That's an utter lie as the android forum for our hd2 contains only 4 sub forums. If you meant 10 threads on the subject, that's even more of a lie, as any of those 10 threads would contain enough information to suffice for your problems.
XDA's mentality and your mentality will not bode well, so i suggest you change yours since it benefits everyone.
Anyways, onto the subject.
To downgrade your SPL, simply get a older stock rom, THAT WAS MEANT FOR YOUR DEVICE, and flash it. You can flash it be either through USB or sd card. To do it through USB, power off your device -> hold vol down and power on device -> a tri color screen, which we call bootloader, will appear -> plug phone to computer and you will see SERIAL, which is located on the bootom of the phone screen, change to USB -> start the flashing of the rom.
Through sd I'm not sure. This is the part where you go and read to find out how.
After you've flashed your rom, go download a radio 2.xx.50.xx, with it being higher than 2.08. Flashing a radio is the same as flashing a rom.
Then you can proceed to flashing HSPL, if i remember correctly, is done the same way as flashing a rom.
Now you can flash MAGLDR, which is done the same way as flashing a rom. After flashing is done the phone will restart and the MAGLDR menu will pop up. Using the volume keys to move up and down in the menu, and the call button to select an option, select USB flasher. Then connect your phone to your computer and start flashing your android rom. Flash the rom as an administrator. Then done.
Why on earth these types of topics still get created is beyond me, There is an abundance of information on how to install or boot Android step by step.
Anybody who can not read these guides should stick to a nokia 3310.

I'm now with:
RUU_Leo_S_HTC_WWE_EastEurope_3.14.479.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship
Can you tell me from where can i download lower version?
You can go to the htc website, at their support page, and get an older rom. If you want to be safe that the rom you're downloading is one that you can upgrade the HSPL with, heck just go get the first rom they have their and flash your hd2 with it.
Or you can go to this thread and download from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=623283&highlight=stock
download 1.66.xx roms, and pick the one that fits your hd2. Which in your case would be East Europe: (WWE_EastEurope). Then you can flash your HSPL, pick 2.08 btw, and not 2.08.0000 or whatever it was.
After that you need to flash your radio, MAGLDR and finally your android rom, and you're all done. :3
Hope it all works for you.

Did you download this ROM from HTC's website using your phone's serial number?
What is your current ROM/RADIO/SPL versions?
Can you upload a picture of the BootLoader screen?
I don't know how get the URL of the picture of the Bootscreen, but it is written:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-3.03.0000 XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(TOUCH) 0x30
ROM 3.14.479.2(04666)WWE
Radio 2.15.50.14
And I didn't get it from HTC's website using your phone's serial number, because when I insert the serial, nothing happens.
Go to * HERE * and near the bottom of the page enter your phone's serial number and press the 'Inscriere'. Then select 'ROM Upgrade for HTC HD2 (EastEurope)' and press 'Descarcae'.

Flash Clock Work Mod Recovery that is the right partition size for the ROM (check ROM thread for this) and then flash it via Clock Work Mod Recovery using the .zip file. Click on my giuide in my sig and look for the links to the guide you are using and the other guide I have linked at the top of the guide.
I did it and now it is saying "NAND Kernal open Failed". I even tried Magldr again and it did complete but I still says the same thing. I am stuck on that bootloader window. I need this phoe running by tomorrow. Can you help me?
Yes but I need detailed information as to what you have done and what ROM you are trying to flash. The more info you can give my about what you have done the better. When you say stuck in bootloader do you mean the multicolor screen? Also sorry for the lag in post my wife wanted to play Farmville aghhhh, lol.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=893948
I was following the instructions on this site to the T. I verified the Radio and I installed the HARDSPL 2.08.
I downloaded the stuff from XDA from the links on this forum:
ROM: DFT_Android
Bootloader: MAGLDR113
I followed the instructions and when I got to the time to open the DAF file in the ROM I did and got three clicks in and it said what I typed in my first post to this thread. Right now I am currently stuck when I turn the phone on it says NAND Open Failed and then goes to the eMADLDR Screen.
If you can help me and get it running by the end of the night that would be awesome!
If I put the phone in USB Mass Storage Mode and open the drive for the phone there is nothing in there.
Ok let me review the DFT ROM thread for a few minutes as I have never flashed the Original DFT ROM. Also now that you have MAGLDR on your HD2 you do not have a ROM this is why it will not do anything but boot into MAGLDR it is also why you are getting that error message. MAGLDR has nothing to boot right now. When you are in option #4 USB Mass Stg does your HD2 show up as MAGLDR in device manager in control panel of your computer?
What version of windows are you runnimg on your computer?
no.
Let me know what my options are whether it be find a way to do the nand or load from sd card.
What version of Windows does your computer use XP,Vista, or Windows 7?
win 7 is what use

Ok Your problem is that your computer is not recognizing your HD2 when connected to your computer this is why I asked if it said MSGLDR in device manager. You can try a couple of things to fix this. One just try all USB ports on your computer untill you see it says it is installing the drivers and it shows up as MAGLDR. Two you can open ActiveSynce or Windows Mobile Device Center and uncheck allow USB connections. Three go to device manager and click on your phone as it will show up there it just might say unknown or something, anyway click on it to make it drop down and then Right click on the drop down and select update drivers then select get from internet. If it does not find the drivers automaticly from the internet , browse and go to computer and then removable device and select for it to get drivers from it. When you have proper connection it will say MAGLDR for your HD2. Then you should be able to flash the ROM. Also make sure you right click on the DAf and select run as adminastrator when you flash the ROM.
Also if you just want to all you have to do to flash back to Windows Mobile is download the official ROM for your HD2 or a custom ROM and flash it via bootloader. Just make sure the white bar of bootloader says USB befor running the RUU. Make sure the ROM is for a T-Mobile HD2 thogh be it a official or custom.
Tried the last one and yes it now shows up at MAGLDR on my device manager. But when I go to the DAF I only get three clicks in again and it said this.
Error happen

When you say three clicks are you talking about the clicks you have to make on the next button in the DFT Utility? Also just to make sure you are right clicking on the DAF and selecting run as administrator as you have to do this if you are running Vista or Windows 7. It is a must.
Yes and yes. I open the Rom to run and click "next" three times and then I get that message. I am also making sure that I opening under admin. At this point would it be best to do a manually copy the rom to the sd and open from there? I am not sure how to do it, I found video online on
http://www.jayceooi.com/2011/01/07/...-on-htc-hd2-with-clockworkmod-recovery-video/
The only problem I have with that is that the os looks like a really old version when I really want the sense or desire

Well I am only looking at the first post in the thread for the DFT ROM and I do not see it say you can use Clock work recovery anywhere in that post. Which means it does not give a partition size for CWM. But it does not hurt to try it. Copy the .zip file the ROM comes in when you down load it to your computer to the root of your SD card. Root means it is not in any folder but just on your SD card. Then follow these instructions from my guide. Also download the v1.3 150MB from the CWM thread i linked it below.
Download the appropriate partition size recovery.zip file , check the first post by the ROM dev in the ROM thread for their suggested partition size. Go the CWM thread to download and see more instructions on how to install. Once you have the .zip file downloaded extract the contents of the zip file to the location and folder of your choosing. Next power on your HD2 but keep the power button pressed down to enter MAGLDR. Scroll down to option #5 USB flasher and connect it via USB cable to your computer. Give it a minute to install any drivers necessary and then right click on the DAF in the folder you extracted the files to and click on run as administrator. Let the progress bar on your computer and HD2 complete to 100% then click close on the last window of the installer. Your HD2 will automatically reboot it’s self but hold down the power button as it boots back up to bring up MAGLDR again. Scroll down to AD Recovery and press the send button and CWM will boot.
Once you have CWM flashed and booted up use the volume up and down just like in MAGLDR to scroll and go to install zip from sdcard and press the send button. Then go to choose zip from sdcard and press the send button. Then scroll through until you see your .zip file you just copied to your SD card and press the send button. then scroll to yes and press the send button and this should flash the ROM for you. I am only concerned about it not mentioning CWM in the DFT ROM thread, maybe Cotulla just has not updated it yet.

Yes that is Clock Work Mod Recovery, I linked it in my other post. You want to download the v1.3 150MB download for it.
This looks like a major pain, start again by flashing a WM6.5 rom. That way you are starting fresh.
You just need to go back to step 1 after flashing WM6.5, hard SPL already flashed, start at installing MagLdr...
Trying it right now. I will repost if it works. So far I am able to get Clock Work on my device, I am currently downloading the ROM.ZIP file to then mount to the root folder on my phone. I will post in the next 1hr to let you know.

Why would they want to start all over again they have MAGLDR flashed. I personally think they just need to flash a different Android ROM as the DFT ROM has to be flashed by USB Flasher and installing with CWM is so much easier to me. But synergeticink wants this ROM so I am trying to help synergeticink get this ROM going. Starting over will only add two more steps here, one flash the Win Mo ROM, two reflashing MAGLDR, and maybe three if they already have CWM flashed as they would have to reflash it if they deside to go with another CWM compatible ROM. Which I am still not sure about if the DFT ROM is CWM compatible or not.

Help please! Update problem after installing MAGLDR V1.13

Hi, Tried installing my first Nexus ICS Android on HTC HD2
following instruction here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1434860
Got to the point where I got MAGLDR v1.13 installed and running.
Then found that I needed HD2 Android NAND Tool and Repartitioned System size to 200 Mb
using USB flasher mode on the MAGLDR.
Then NAND Tool suggested that running Wipe(taks 29) to be a good idea before attempting to install Android so I tried running this as well.
I got the phone into tri-colour USB mode and started wipe. USB mode disappeared replaced by HTC progress bar but it got stuck at 0% and timedout.
I tried recovering to HTC original WWE ROM but it also gets stuck at 0% progress.
Currently Bootloader starts and loads a options, I can also go into USB mode but nothing will start updating the phone it gets stuck at 0%.
I think what repartitioning created a problem but I am unsure how to recover it and need your help!

Wrong forum, should be in the Q&A. You'd have thought it would be obvious, seeing as you're asking a QUESTION, but somehow people don't pick that up
Also, you really need to read more. There isn't any point in installing MAGLDR then Task29ing, in fact there is very little point in Task29ing at all unless you experience major problems with your phone. A simple data wipe (in CWM) and repartition has never failed me.
If you did a task 29 after doing the other steps first then you wiped everything back off. Install magldr again then CWM and then install your rom of choice.
Also for being a member since 2005 you should know not to EVER post a question in development.
Mods please move to Q&A

Sorry for posting it in the wrong forum.
Many thanks for the comments...I cannot install anything at present because once update process starts it times out at 0%. Task29 did not work either - it also gets stuck at 0%.
Only thing that works is Boot loader and USB mode.
As Boot loader is working I tried to install NAND Android following this instruction:
2. FLASH YOUR ANDROID ROM
The Original NAND Android Thread by Cotulla is *HERE*
NOTE1: This section is only applicable AFTER you have flashed MAGLDR to your Device
NOTE2: Make sure your phone is still connected via usb cable before starting
* When your phone Reboots it will Enter the MAGLDR Boot Menu Screen *
1. Press the 'Volume Down' button to goto Option 5: USB Flasher and press the 'Call' button (far left of the 5 hardware buttons at the bottom)
2. The menu will enter Android Flasher mode and install usb drivers if not present
3. Browse to the folder you extracted your NAND Android Package files to on your pc, right click on Run DAF.exe (or Install.exe if DAF.exe isnt present) and select Run as Administrator
But DAF is giving this error back:
Error happen
Read below for more information
Error Description: USB init failed
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (723)
thats all old instructuions.
go get the nand toolkit, and also get hspl3
...
phone into bootloader (tri colour screen, not magldr)
connect usb
run hspl3
choose 2.08.hspl (don't assume its already 2.08.hspl, check it, hanging at 0% is often a sign of no hspl)
when reboots immediately go back into bootloader
*(* from here on you can do all this in the nand toolkit*)*
flash magldr
when it reboots enter magldr
(if phone hangs on a htc screen and doesn't show magldr, you need to flash radio 2.15.50)
phone into magldr
connect usb
choose 'usb flasher'
in toolkit select desired system partition size and cache size
when its finished
phone back into magldr
choose 'ad nand'
this starts cwm
(if you havent yet partitioned your sd card with an ext partitio, look ity up and do it now)
select 'install zip from sd'
select zip from sd
browse to where you dropped the rom.zip file onto your sd card.
when it reboots you're done, , alternatively it failed somewhere, , which step?
if you get apparent driver errors, theres a nice big button called drivers in the toolkit (i think?)
Many thanks that worked like clockwork

Error during install of ANY WP7 rom.

Hey, i've been using Android NAND roms for a while and decided to try WP7.
But everytime i attempt to install an WP7 rom i recieve this error:
(The installation starts fine, but freezes during partition 1. Partition 0 is OK)
Error Description: send partition data failed
Info: .\RSPL\RSPL.cpp (1283)
Error Description: block send fail

I have tried this:
- Switch USB Ports & Cable
- Task29, two times. Reinstalling MAGLDR 1.13, Radio, HSPL 2.08.
- Format SDcard with FAT32. & Remove SD-Card
- ActiveSync Setting "Allow usb-connections" is disabled.
- Run DWI.exe as administrator.
- Use last 24mb (Not sure if i really enabled it, because everytime i attempt to
it sends me straight back to "startmenu" of MAGLDR.)
Could anyone please point out, what i am doing wrong & what i could try?
in magldr set this settings:
* 10. Services, 4. UseLast24NAND
* 10. Services, 5. ClearSD MDR
* go to 5. USB Flasher and run DWI.exe to flash ROM
also look this tutorial
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=954899&d=1332181049
I did already attempt this, but are you supposed to
get any indication back when you enable the last 24mb?
just press green key to confirm and automatically get back to main menu
how about trying this..
after Magldr, in HD2 toolkit, click magldr partition 300/ 45 & see what happens. this method worked for me after a few of those errors
dont forget in Service
- clear SD MBR
- uselast24nand
I don't know what happened, but i followed that toturial after i installed Winmo 6.5.
The installation is going perfectly fine now, thanks
Try to do these steps in this exact order:
*make sure you double check yourself.
1) Go into Boot loader (tri-color screen).
2) Do Task-29.
2a) Install HSPL 2.08 and make sure you have 2.15 radio or another radio compatible with MAGLDR.
3) Flash Windows mobile Rom and restart and let it boot up fully.
4) After you have booted into Windows mobile, Go back into boot loader (tri-colored screen) (reboot or turn it completely off it doesn't matter).
5) Flash Magldr v1.13. (Do not task-29 before or after installing Magldr!!)
6) Enable the last 24 Mb in settings of Magldr.
7) Flash Windows Phone with USB flasher from Magldr Menu.
8) Enjoy Your Windows Phone!
The reason it gives you that error is because you either came from Android on NAND, you used task-29 before or after you flashed Magldr, or you did not enable last 24 mb.
It's needed to install Windows Mobile before WP7?
Yes, unless you already have Windows Mobile on your device before installing wp7, then you dont have to.
All I recommend is to hard reset then boot into windows mobile and then restart into boot loader and install Magldr and then continue from there.
But if you have Android on Nand then you have to or else it will give the error the OP received.
so which version of WinMo should I use? any fast link here would be? thank you
Any version would work. I have an Omega rom just on my computer, but my connection is slow so I'll give you the source:
Make sure you download a rom specifically for your phone. Ex. Tmobile Hd2 needs Tmobile Hd2 rom.
HD20 ROM post 2: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=576215
OMEGA ROM post 1: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=692763
Just download one, task-29 your phone, then install the rom you downloaded through USB. Then continue with step 2a of my earlier post.
