Strange keyboard behavior in stock browser, Anyone seen this? - XPERIA X10 General

All of a sudden when i try and enter url's in the stock browser with any keyboard the address input screen in landscape mode doesn't reach to the top of the screen anymore. Now when i try and type after every character i input the screen and keyboard "bounces" making it practically impossible to type correctly. This just started happening after working fine for weeks and theres nothing i can think of that fixes it. Ive tried wiping browser data, reinstalling the stock browser and tried numerous keyboards. Im currently using rendeiro2005's cm6.1.3 but it doesnt seem like anything related to the ROM should be affecting this. I recently made some tweaks to the build.prop but reverted back to the original and it seemed to work fine for a while after that then just randomly freaked out. It seems like the gap on the top of the screen is the width of the status bar but the stat bar isnt displaying in the browser window. This only happens in the address bar and not in any other text input screen. Ive attached a pic that shows the gap on the screen. Has anyone else seen this and if so what fixes it?

this this problem in my nook screen ... or something normal .... or what? :S
I see that also when I unlock.
It hasn't made any trouble for me on the nook touch or the glowworm. I'm not sure what's doing it but have decided not to worry about it
I know what the problem is:

You can use the images as they are or edit the message one.
This only shows above the arrows because the EPD mode is changed to DU for the 4 arrows.

Click to collapse
so .... there's nothing to worry about this???
cuz i have asked a friend of mine and tell me that not happen with him and then i get worried and i decide to put my problem here for everyone
If your screensaver happens to be be either solid black or solid white there you will not see the phenomenon.
Of course this problem is only cosmetic.
Just use the images mentioned above and the problem will be solved.

Weird lines on screen

Well, it started yesterday and it keeps driving me nuts. It's present both in the system as well as 4ext or even the splash screen so it is definitely a hardware issue. Is there any way to get rid of them because my contract ends in november but I was going to stay with my DHD and get myself a PS3 (very nice offer from my carrier)
It looks like that, it's not a screenshot but it looks exactly like that:

what seems to be an officer problem?
the faint horizontal lines on the screen. That is only a picture but live they also flicker.
You could try replacing the screen yourself, but it could happen that the gpu is the problem, in which case you can't do anything on your own...

I remember having the same issue right after I bought my DHD and I remember rooting and reflashing it helped I recently changed my Radio software, you think it might have anything to do?
It's not hardware. I get it on the current versions of the 3 kernel. Synergy said it was to do with fb (not sure what it is) and he's working on it.

FB....hmmm....frame buffer (only thing that comes to mind except FaceBook) Anyway you're a life saviour man! I was worried that I will have to get a new phone.

Hiding the buttons

I find the virtual buttons a bit of a nuisance, I would much rather use gestures. I originally wanted to hide them only on my home screen, but it seems it's all or nothing with qemu.hw.mainkeys in build.prop.
I'm fine getting rid of them, however I'm wondering if there is a gesture system I can have instead, for example a swipe from bottom takes me to the home screen?
Edit: I'm on rooted stock 4.3.
I'm using cataclysm ROM which has a unique feature which fades out the buttons after ten seconds in any app. Other wise I think there's an xposed module that can have swipes to navigate.

Thanks man, turns out I was Googling for the wrong thing - once I figured out that they were called navigation bars I came across an app called " GMD Auto Hide Soft Keys" for rooted devices. (For future people)
I'd rather keep with rooted stock for now but I will be sure to keep an eye on it for when I decide to dabble in roms.

[Q] Notification Bar and power off glitch

This is a rather advanced site to post a question on. I'm just wondering if there's anyone here who can shed any light on this problem.
I have a Note 10.1 (2014) Wi-Fi only. I have an issue pulling down the notification bar, my gesture sometimes does not register. When I press the power button to lock the device, I see a quick flash of a blue screen. Lastly, there are times when I try to power off the entire device and I get this screen instead of the regular power off options. I see the attached images. Apparently tapping 'OK' does not switch off the device, but tapping 'Cancel' does. I have turned off and on the device but the glitch happens off and on.

The first issue I had with my note and it was being caused by the magnet in the case. Pulled the case away from the body and heu presto the problem goes away. The second problem I also had and it was caused by one of the modules I used in the xposed framework. Have you recently installed any xposed modules if so I would disable them all first then reactivate them 1 by 1 till you find the conflict.

Rogers S5 Lollipop lock screen block text

I updated to 5.0 a while back when Rogers rereleased it, and every once in a while the numbers/letters on the lockscreen keypad will turn to white blocks. The lock screen is the only place that this happens.
Anyone know what's wrong/how to fix it besides rebooting the phone?

Bump!
Anyone has a better solution than reboot?
It is appearing on T-Mobile I-9505, I-9515 and G-900F.
Do you use SwiftKey? My girlfriends Canadian GS5 is doing this as well, when I searched the internet I found a reference with regards to SwiftKey not playing 100% nice with Lollipop and causing this blockyness on the lock screen. So far there has been no fix other than reboot... She's been a couple of months now with this annoyance, but luckily it doesn't seem to affect the usability, you just have to know which numbers are which Side note: I have a Nexus 5 and use Swiftkey but don't have this problem.
This is apparently just a general lollipop issue, not really tied to anything just a glitch in android, i dont know a fix just thought id throw that out there.
