Sync two devices with each other

Hi,
I own a Hermes PPC with windows mobile 6 on it and I have a HTC S710 Smartphone with windows mobile 6 on it.
I know that it is possible to sync the two devices trough a pc, but what i want to do is sync the devices with eachother trough bluetooth.
Does anyone know that it is possible?
I would appriciate any help...

if by sync you mean share contacts, appointments, ect. i don't know of a program to do it. It's not impossible, though... you just need to write code...

Alternate to Active Sync ??

Guys,
is there any other good email sync prog for syncing emails from a laptop - outlook to windows mobile 6.1 ??

Im in on this one.
i have a sony vaio notebook, and for some reason there is no way for activesync to work on this thing. i install it at work. *plop* and it works. done
i tried everything at home here. but still for example when installing hardspl or simply just wanting to backup my data or sync my tasks i want to use this
is there any alternative? or an expert on activesync whos up for the challenge?

i just got a hd2 on tmobile and i am trying to get my contacts from my nokia 5800 on to the hd2 , i have searched for 2 days and tried nokia pc suite etc, i cannot do it, i have seen people say to copy contacts to nokia pc suite then to outlook and sync hd2 with outlook to get contacts on hd2, but there is no outlook in windows 7 , only windows live mail , i have tried with live mail but it dosent work,.
its driving mt nuts, please someone help me

Once done you can then sync to your HD2 using WMDC

thanks for trying , but i have no probs with syncing the 5800 with win7 via nokia pc suite/ovi suite, they sync up fine and i have made a backup of my contacts from the 5800, the problem is i cannot get the contacts on to my Hd2 ,

My GF had a Nokia, and I was able to select all of the contacts, then sned them via Bluetooth to the X1 she had, so I'm guessing that method would work also.

I'm about to find out how easy/difficult it is to transfer contacts, GF has just got an HD2 today to replace her N6120c, I guess I'll be playing "guru" later tonight
I'll post back if I manage to do it.

you are the man rp-x1 it worked , select all the send via bluetooth , thank yo so much , they are copying over as i type .

Good job, tried doing Nokia to BlackBerry when my gf got her Curve 8900 and it wouldn't play ball!!

Ergh, the Blackberry Bluetooth system is appalling, and people complain about the BT stack on our devices!

[Q] HTC Sync

hey everyone....I downloaded cmy's blacktopia rom for my HD2. I was wondering which version of HTC Sync i should be running on my computer in order for it to properly recognize the ROM on my phone? Can anyone help me out? Thanks!!!

What version pc do you have, windows version?

i was wondering , i am a windows mobile user with loads of stuff on MS Outlook 2007 and wish to migrate to Android?
i wish to migrate Calendar, Contacts and Tasks, if possible.. or does HTC sync does that for us?

HTC Sync should sync everything, but not sure that it will be able to find your HD2 using Android installed in SD...

HTC Sync does recognise the HD2 running Android. Mine shows up as a Desire as I'm running Desire based android.
Doesn't sync tasks tho.

You can export all your Outlook info as CSV, then go to your Gmail account and upload everything It will show up on your phone later.

It should let ya migrate from outlook to G-Calendar, then all the stuff will magicaly appear on your phone

htc sync on my computer doesnt work. i dont get an option on android to choose the connection type (there is normally a popup window) i have tried setting it manually but it didnt make a difference. windows detects the phone but htc sync doesnt

how about using other softwares like Companion Link and all those other sync softwares..

Im having a similar problem on my computer....when I am running HTC Sync on computer and I have it hooked up to the computer; after i have selected the connection type, it says it cant find HTC sync on my computer....am I doing something wrong here?

yeah, mine is the same way, when i click the connection type on my phone, and i select htc sync, it searches for it, but then tells me it cant find it on my computer....even tho I have HTC Sync open....

Htc sync for tattoo?

I have on my tattoo android 2.2 (rootid phone) and can't conect phone with htc sync. Can somebody help me.

HTC Sync works only for HTC's stock rom (Which is stuck at 1.6).

if you want tosynchronize something you can use myphonexplorer

Didn t know phoneexplorer, but tried it, it s very nice software

phoneexplorer is the same thing that htc sync? it syncs data with pc?

yeah it does pretty much the same
