two multi touch screens with a slide out keyboard. We didn't want to make it overpriced, since its 3 screens so we took out the 4g, dual core, hdmi, and any other awesome features to include these crappy screens in one single phone.

I sure hope it's an HTC Evo successor. I wouldnt mind to hear the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 coming to Sprint as well. Dump the Echo, Playbook, Touch 7 and any future non Android related crap.

sprint would never have anything cool like that.
+ even if it was an exact clone as that. without dual core, its a step back. Every device from this point on will have dual cores, anything else is outdated.

It will probably be the Kyocera Echo 2! Another Sprint First: First phone to replace a phone which was obsolete even before it was ever released! As a gift, they will throw in a deck of cards signed by David Blaine.

Ill try to explain this as best i can.
Evo came out July.. right?
last year..
4.3 screen
dual cameras
4g (some people got it)
kickstand (some may not like this)
Now all these others carriers are getting
4+ inch screen
dual cameras
4g (lte and hspa+)
and kickstands
i know they have better processors and all that good stuff.. but this means when we get the better of what they have now, are we gonna complain when the other carriers catch up?

Evo 3d and nexus have credit on Sprint server

Go to now.sprint.com/nexus and you get an image that credits it
And if you go to now.sprint.com/evo3d it directs you to the home page. That showing they are crediting it.

Does the Nexus S feels like all the other Galaxy S Phones? (Cheap and plasticly)
I really like it but if it feels like crap..it won't last long in my hands

It has that Samsung feel to it, but it's a pretty sweet phone. It feels solid and the little chin bit feels nice in the hand, but I'm not huge on the plastic myself. Nice to see it at least come to Sprint, I'm not entirely sold on these dual cores as I don't game or take in a whole lot of media on it sans music / random videos. 3D phones ... ehh, it should be the big phone of the 2 and I know the 3D toggle will be there ... and there is all that talk about 3D on displays that don't really do it justice ... blah blah blah. I'd consider the Nexus S, especially for just a year. Will be interesting to see what is what.

I'm itching to find out how much it'll sell for. I don't have any problems with selling my Evo to get my hands on a Nexus S on Sprint.

I played with one at best buy but im too spoiled by my 4.3" screen to have it. Plus I'm not a big Samsung fan, other then that its a really nice looking phone, especially the curves.

they will soon. probably at ctia. but their dual cores are inferior to the tegra/samsung dual cores. @ 1ghz vs 1ghz, htc/qualcomm's is about 25% slower. qualcomm is setting them at 1.2 ghz so it'll make up some of the gap but power consumption will shoot up plus the tegra 2 is 5nm smaller so tegra 2 is overall more power efficient. i'd personally want a tegra 2 but not much of a choice.

why is this being posted again now? This was shown in the other lengthy thread about the new phones coming. Site has been like that for a week, and I wanna say someone posted in that thread saying the nexus one has been like that since it was rumored to come to sprint a long time ago too, and ended up not.

Its just hard to take Samsung serious when it comes to phones. I mean the rule the tv world but I just don't like how they support their phones(taking forever with updates/fixes). Very hard to believe the nexus s is a sammy product and not an HTC.

Nexus S IS NOT SAMSUNG's. For the last time, GOOGLE wanted the phone, GOOGLE gave samsung the specs, GOOGLE tested it, and it's aosp. It is no where close to the **** support that the other samsung craphones get.

It has Samsung insides, its plagued with some galaxy s bugs and they threw aosp on it. Hate to say it buddy but its a Samsung phone IMO. But thanks for your angry reply, wasn't necessary but I appreciate it.

Quad-Core Tegra 3 Xoom! !!

Has any heard about this beast yet...the processor Kal-el will be the first to be able to compete with a laptop performance..I would post the link if I could but i'm not home right now.They say they will supposedly be ready in September & will be twice as fast as Tegra 2....I will be upgrading to the Xoom 2 if this holds water.!!!!!

Googles next flagship phone: Nexus 4G

Apparently it will be huge. Maybe even 5". Powerful guts and an HD high resolution screen as well. I know that maybe too big for someone but it would be perfectly acceptable for me. What do you guys expect? Do you think it'll blow the galaxy s2 out of the park?

Way too much speculation. Its too early to tell but I would be surprised if it didn't have a quad core since the tegra 3 is already in the pipeline.

I personally didnt hear anything about NS being tegra 2 before =P I heard something about samsung making it and didnt look much more after because I assumed itd have hummingbird. The N1 though I knew every detail (almost) before it came out, but got impatient and missed my chance to get one =/ It came out a couple months after I got my G1 =P

Doesn't look that way since article states :
"The device is expected to be powered by either Texas Instrument's OMAP 4460 chip or an ultra low-power 28nm Krait-based Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm running at 1.2GHz or 1.5GHz."
There could be manufacturing delays with tegra 3 so they might stick with dual core. Instead of releasing with a dual core at end of 2011 they should release with a quad core in beginning of 2012.

Not quite...my understanding is that it's only a single core processor. I'd rather have the 3D feature and not use it if I have to give dual core up.
OP, the only phone we know is coming soon that's in the same class as the new generation of phones is the Samsung Galaxy S II. HTC and Moto have both released top-end phones on Sprint in the last few months. My guess is that after the SGSII, the next high end phones we see on Sprint will be the next Nexus and other phones designed for ICS.

Blackberry Bold Touch and Blackerry Torch Touch on 8/21, Samsung Galaxy S II in the next month or so, the Nexus Prime within 3 months or so.
the conquer is lame, and if youre gonna get a kingdom, you might as well get a 3d...
photon and 3d are already out, and are most certainly superior in specifications to the evo.

Is this an annoucement date or when the phone is actually going to be available?
I had planned on waiting a couple months to see what comes out but I left my EVO in a golf cart this past weekend and before I got back to the course the cart kid had rinsed out the cart and got a little water on it. It wasn't even a lot of water but the phone is acting crazy now and keeps hopping in and out of car mode and goes straight to speakerphone when I answer a call. Not sure if I can put up with it like it is and I not going to spend the $100 deductible to replace.
I'm hoping my 30 day trial will get me a look at the SGS2. If not, kinda leaning towards the photon but need to spend some time with it in store. Was a little underwhelmed by the 3D.

i have seen the Photon but i have not really considered it.
I really like HTC and want to stick with it.
How does the Motorola and Samsung stack up with HTC?

this statement is false..i personally went to sprint to pay my phone bill today and while i was there i gave the photon a test drive..there is absolutly no truth about the ram operating @512 off the dock. with that being said..the photon is a very nice phone speed wise..i imagine battery life is better cuz of dual core..i did not care for the screen or the phone as a whole...HTC are hard to compete with and i will continue to be a customer.
