It's okay, we are going to be able to over clock the evo 2s A LOT
Instead of HDD, I think they should do a Solid stated. doesnt have to be huge, but bigger that 32GB or bigger than 64GB. That would be awesome. HDD's have problems with movement.
jesus lol.

True, and I thought about that at first, but it would drive up the price on what will likely be an already expensive tablet. Besides, I'm sure they will wait to see how this sells, and then offer one with a SSD.

A suprisingly working version of a giant Nexus S display on Best-buy lol.
DO WANT! I'll take two.
I would think it's just using TV-out on a 42-inch lcd tv.

its more than "just" TV out, remember it has to take the touch inputs as well
but this gives us hope for TV out? possibly?
Video has been removed

Man that is really cool!
I'm a little intrigued at how it's powered by a smaller Nexus S with video out capabilities. Why don't all Nexus S's have this ability?

True, but as the video shows, the touch support was horrid.

So his computer must have less cpu and gpu performance than S2.What a pityful guy.Tell him to buy a new PC before he rushes into buying S2.He could get a good computer with the money he's going to spend on S2.
I won't even play NFS on S2 coz its graphic is really bad compared to PC version.
Anyone used any external battery for tab 7.7?
Although the battery life is great, but it's always good to have backup.
Like a portable charger you mean ?

Yes, it is huge. Definately weighs more than the 7.7. I already had it. I would probably go with the XP8000 if I were buying for just the 7.7.
I have had an older version of this for a while and it works well with the tab.
I have a New Trent iTurbo IMP660 6600mAh which I happened to test yesterday, and it worked fine.
I bought another tablet from this seller awhile ago (see the review here) and when I wanted to order another one for my wife, I was told they were out but getting a new, and improved model. They emailed and let me place the order of off the old link and the new tablet I just got is AWESOME!!! My wife is getting the old one - lol.
Android 4.0.3, pre-rooted, aluminum case, screen you can view from pretty much any angle, 8gb storage, 512mb RAM, mini HDMI out, charges via USB and the included proprietary charger (USB is a bit slower, but works. This is huge for me so I can use it with one of the many external portable battery chargers I have), USB host cable included (works perfectly with my Oyen 750gb portable hard drive). This thing is the sh!t!!
Installed the patched hulu and netflix apps from XDA and both work great! Overclocks to 1.4GHz no prob (faster will crash it) UPDATE: seems 1.2 is the most stable speed, but it's still the best bang for the buck I've found. I have a few tablets (xoom, coby, and a few other generic tablets) and this one is my new favorite.
Here's the link to the listing for the new tablet (I told them I would pass it on and they gave me $5 back - great company): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007TQP7L0/ref=sc_pgp__m_A76FR6O1NBAXV_1?ie=UTF8&m=A76FR6O1NBAXV&n=&s=&v=glance
If anyone finds any cool ROMS for this let me know (not sure if there'd be any out for it yet though, I haven't found any)

does the tablet play nice with market apps? any videos of this bad boy in action?
Came with Google Play store installed and I haven't had any issues installing apps. I'll try to get a video done tonight and maybe some pics too.

Not bad, but a pretty low res screen for a tablet 800x480. Besides for that the rest of the hardware isnt bad for that price, has decent expandability options and comes pre rooted.
How can the response times be any slower on the touchpad then this and after a few more updates to ics its gonna prob fix those.
I just think the advantages the touchpad has from the gig of ram to the screen size and resolution make it worth the extra 30 bucks lol
Plus it has another 8 gigs of storage

If you were referring to my post I meant the tablet the OP posted has really slow response time when he shifted the tab and the screen took about 5 seconds to respond to the change

It was slow because I was holding it flat, facing up towards the camera. It's super snappy when holding it in front of you in a normal position. Almost flat on it's back isn't the best way to get the screen rotation to respond...

So who's going to get one of these bad boys??
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/484889112/the-pocket-tv-makes-any-tv-a-smart-tv
They look pretty sweet. Especially those air remotes. If I wasn't broke atm I'd jump in on this kickstarter deal. I travel a lot and it'd be awesome to have one of these to plug in wherever I went.
yeah that is awesome!
Well, this is nothing new. There's already the FXI CottonCandy, and a Chinese equivalent that is slight less powerful in specs. The main differences between this and the CottonCandy: it uses the exynos 4 dual processor (same one as in the GS2), and also includes a full size male USB 2.0, so a computer can also boot from it as well. That little piece of awesomeness goes for 199. This one though has that nice air remote. Wonder how much this one costs...
FYI, I fully believe that these thumb drive Androids are going to take off very soon...the market is very young, but they are so versatile.
