they can not deliver because the SIM-Lock doesn't work correctly
Couldn't tell them that it will go away anyway

Can the Xperia X10 be blocked after entering wrong nck codes?

if anyone know, please tell me how many attempts allowed does the x10 have to unlock the phone? can the x10 be blocked due to the use of limited attempts for entering nck code? does the x10 have an unlock counter? and how to know if the attempts are already over ?
please someone help
On other mobiles the limit is like 10 times... after which the unit needs to be serviced in-order to be reactivate for normal uses.
Unfortunately I received the wrong unlock code and I was stupid (well, I thought I had 10 tries) and now my X10 is blocked
It was already blocked after 5 wrong tries.
So is there anything I can do except going to the operator who locked the phone? I don't know if there's an unlock counter and if there is any way to reset it?
Have you tried doing a seus repair?
no, I'm not really familiar with SEUS... is there any danger? can I loose my warranty?
UPDATE: I just did the SEUS, but it's still blocked any other ideas?
what is the message that you have when you enetres wrong code .. how did you know that the x10 is alrready blocked?
because im already in the same situation as you, i think i have entered the code more than 5 times but i dont know if its blocked because the window where i should put the code is always here and i can put again a new code ..
so are things with you are same.?
Do u still have this little window for puttin code, or dou receive a special message that tell you that u have used all your attempts?
well, the exact message won't help you, because it's german
but it says something like "sim locked. contact operator"
and the first 5 times it just said "wrong sim-unlock code" or something like that...
And yes, I can still and always put in a code, but the response is always the same.
Furthermore, I think you can see in the service menu under the option "sim lock" how many attempts you have, but I'm not sure about that...
and I know that it is locked, because I already got the right unlock code (directly from the operator who locked my xperia, so I'm pretty sure it's not wrong) and it is still not working...
So is there anything left I can do, especially when having the right unlock code or do I have to bring my xperia to the operator and pay a lot of money (I suppose)?
ohhh ..same as me sim locked please contact operator... what should we do now????
please anyone help us .. with cable or toolbox solution?
is there any cable solution?can the flash reset the counter? or can we input the right code by cable .??? please someone help
well, I've tried a lot, looked around a lot but the xperia seems to be smarter than all the other (older) phones... I've found no way to reset the counter
I re-installed the xperia using SEUS, I debranded the phone, I used different SIMs, I tried solutions which worked with other phones (for example enter the unlock code and wait with the phone switched on for the counter to reset itself) but nothing helped.
The last thing I am trying now is to take out the battery for 24 hours or more, but I'm not really expecting that this will help...
Well, it's a pity, but I think the only way left is to bring the xperia to the operator, cause I don't want to loose my warranty by modifying the phone's software in any way
the problem is that i imported my phone from france and i cant use it in my country until i unlock it ...and also there is no orange operator here in tunisia ....
Well, that sucks... I can't use my phone at the moment either cause I am using another operator. But I will take the phone to the operator who locked it next week, unless someone here will be my hero and offer me another solution
And one more thing: I debranded the phone... in case I bring it to the operator, should I rebrand it? And if so, how can I do that? Thanks!
yeah it should be branded to the operator firmware
Finally mine is unlocked ))
Have you found any solution for your X10, doudeche?
yeah i already unlocked it yesterday, i gave it to a genious that unlocked to me by cable he sad that the solution is not available for public but i dont know how he unlocked my phone anyway my phone is working like a charm....but i think that i will buy htc desire and sell the x10.
and u how did u do to unlock yours?
I brought it to the operator who locked the phone in the first place and they did that

xperia x10 no signal

i have a xperia x10, and cant a phone signal from rogers. so i have to reflash my radio? if so where can i get this
Do a repair with SEUS or PC companion. If it doesn't help, go get your x10 replaced
kk ill give it a try, not under warranty nemore >.<
didnt work T.T,,, what parts would i have to replace? my friend has a x10 with a broken case and screen. internals are still fine. should i just replace all the internals??

Android Market Problems

Hey guys,
I have Xperia Arc originally branded to 3 (UK). I just debranded it through the guide provided by XPERIABLOG net....
Followed it carefully, and succesfully debranded my phone, with no Operator Logos, Additional useless apps, I had it all done and working well, until I tried to add my google account to the market. The last step that I had to do following the guide was to allow unknown sources for apps and USB debugging, which makes me think that the firmware provided does not have google certificates incorporated in it. The precise message was that A secure connection could not be established while trying to connect to the Market. It could that my phone has not been provisioned to use the Market or I did not have Data transfer enabled from my operator. Now, both are unapplicable as I had a healthy running market previously, and second, I am not using data , since my phone is sim locked to 3, so I have been using Wifi for a week now.
Has anyone experienced such an issue? Something that may help you identify the problem is that when I tried logging into Gmail.com, the phone said that Google was not one a recognized trusted authority and asked me whether I wanted to accept its certificate. WTF?! This leads me to think that the stupid firmware provided with the debrand tutorial is a piece of cr*p... Now I ended having a sim-locked phone without 3 logos, but without Market or Gmail...... Any suggestions or previous experience would be precious!
Ok.....
Ok I worked it out... Yes the firmware has to be faulty in a way... I used Sony Ericsson's PC Companion and did a Repair of the phone waited for 30 mins to flash whatever they had as a firmware and now I seem to have an unbraded xperia arc (judging by the lack of additional logos/apps) with a working market and gmail... Sorry, for the thread, but it seems that nobody has had that issue before and it would good for new users debranding their arc and ending up with an unusable Android Market...
