I'm writing a WIndows app to synchronize data with an android app (using an SQLite database). Is there any equivalent of Baltic.SD.WindowsMobile for Android - a .NET library which will allow me some kind of acces to the android filesystem without needing to mount the phone as a USB device?

Hi, my question is about windows mobile sdk 6. When I try to run the example "CECamera" with Visual Studio, Mobile 6.1 Emulator, ActiveSync, and SDK, I get the following error. The emulator starts up, but the program does not load. Then the error is displayed, "Unable to start %CSIDL_PROGRAM_FILES%\CECamera\CECamera.exe The system cannot find the file specified." Anyone know how to fix this? Also I have a camera attached to the computer and am hoping that the device emulator will use it, any help would be greatly appreciated.
The SDK emulators have no camera functionality. Therefore there is no camera.exe or cecamera.exe installed in the rom image that the emulator is running. Besides, the name of the camera program is dependant on the particular software build for that device.
Same goes for Bluetooth and wireless.
The device is being emulated on your PC. The only hardware to which it has access is the directory in File -> Configure : Shared Folder.
hey guys,
This is one of my first few apps for android (I've already done some rigorous stuff with sensor api and whatnot that im pretty comfortable with java). The thing is, i come from windows mobile and we had this thing called RAPI, which is a thing used to comunicate to activesync from c# in the computer. Is there some sort of thing like RAPI out therer for android? How would i approach in accessing the android information/file system without placing android in usb file system mode. Is there some sort of USB I/O example from computer/phone?
-Thanks
so...any help here?
What exactly are you trying to do? I'm not familiar with RAPI so I don't quite understand what you need. You can access the android file system (linux based) and all, but a stock android enforces user/group permissions as any unix filesystem does.
Hi every one,
i have installed Android SDK 2.2 on my laptop in order to develop an application over it.Actually, my application needs wifi configuration but i can't access to this in the emulator neither in the WifiManager class (eclipse).
I think the problem is that i don't have an Android Device connected to my PC!
i really need to develop this application and i can't manage to have an Androphone....so aren't there any solutions? any suggestions ?
P.S: i'm a beginner in the Android Developpment.
is it possible to install a ssh app on the nvidia, if its rooted
so i can access remotely via macbook to transfer / copy files?
I would suggest sideloading SSHDroid, which can operate in root and non-root (ports above 1024). You'll possibly (i.e. definitely) have to fiddle round with mouse and/or keyboard to get it to work the way you want though. Oddly the unlocker 'key' app wouldn't side load for me, so I don't get the unlocked benefits (and yes, I've paid for the unlocker).

ah is there any non keyboard mouse method - or app? i want to basically access the files to transfer into the android folder / obb etc
and connect from a mac computer
I am having trouble mounting my Windows 10 shares directly onto the Android filesystem.
I can mount OS X and Windows 7 shares without issues.
Has anyone gotten their post-1709 Windows 10 fileshares working? Would appreciate any assistance given!
I had some trouble with that but I:
- Updated and setup Plex Server on NSTV
- Setup an user at the win10 side for the NSTV
- Removed WIN10 unused user's accounts from accessing the folders/drives (a common thing when you update or just reinstall the OS and it messes with the shares)
- Gave WIN10 users privileges to access folders/drives
- Gave access specifically to NSTV user to access those folders/shares.
I might had done some redundant steps but is works anyway. Also I think the write/read privileges are required for NSTV.
After seeing the WIN10 in SMB share on NSTV (under storage menu), just put login/password and you will see all the shared folders available to NSTV user. They then also show for Kodi.
