[Q] Video Recording Issue - Atrix 4G General

Seeing a problem with my new Atrix.
I hit the camera Icon, works fine, no issues.
Through the menu, switch to Video recorder.
Video recorder switches, and shows the red record button.
Then when i hit the record button, I get kicked out to the main phone screen?
ATT store tried pulling the battery while powered on.
The phone rebooted, and then the video recorder worked.
30 mins later, the same problem returned.
Any ideas for resolution?
Thanks,
Mark

Voice recording on exec

Hey guys, newbie here. Apologies if this has already been posted but the search aint too good! (no offence!)hehe
i was wondering how i could keep the recorder on my exec working for more than 301 secs (5 mins) without tapping on the screen constantly so the phone doesnt swtich off.
I have a 2gb storage card so its not the storage thats the problem or the recording quality, as when the phone is "on" itll record for aslong as i keep tapping teh screen every 5 minutes. Ive recorded for upto 30min before. Until i got bored of tapping teh screen so the phone would stay on.
Just to go over what ive justsaid .. basically i want to know how i can keep my phone recording in say .. a lecture, without tapping the screen every 5 min so the phone will keep recording.
thanks in advance guys x
I know there is an option in the system settings that disables your Universal to shut or turn itself off. That would work.

Bah, recording video crashes the camera app

So, here is what happens:
Start the camera app
Still pictures work fine
Select the video mode
Record a video
Once I stop recording, the screen displays the save/delete/etc options for a brief second, then shuts down. No errors are displayed. After this happens, I can only make use of the camera app after a soft reset. If I attempt to use the camera app without resetting, the app appears, but never displays what the camera sees and then shuts down again.
It acts like the camera is failing when being initialized, but does not throw any errors.
Any ideas? All the threads I could find all deal with the 'camera failed to initialize' message, which is not my issue.
Same Problem After Upgrading to WM6.1 (27/2/08)
I've got the same problem but can't configure out how to solve. Can anyone help?

Help!

I have a surround and lately its misbehaving.
The screen goes off within a second or two if I do not continue touching it. Sometimes it doesn't even stay for a second and goes off immediately. When the screen goes off, I notice the red battery light blinking. Sometimes its just in a reboot boot loop. If i am successful and able to reach videos and start a video, then the video plays fine.
Until the video is playing, the screen doesn't go off. I have tried a hard reset but it didn't help. I am on mango.
What might be the problem?

Strange issue...

So I was watching a YouTube video on my phone yesterday when all of a sudden the screen went off? The screen never goes off when streaming a video so I pushed the power button and got nothing, tried again and again...still nothing. Pressed down the power button for about 15 seconds and the phone restarts, upon getting to my lock screen the time and date where set as 0100 on the 02/05/1970???
I had to factory reset just to make sure the problem was removed. Just wondering has any one else seen or had this issue?

Click to collapse
Did you UV in the Kernel?
Also try installing a video player and watching through it, sometimes the build-in one sucks.
Phone is totally stock, no uv or root. Was watching the video via the YouTube app, not the stock video player...

Voicemail app locks screen and halts message playback

I have done numerous Google searches for my issue and have not found any pertinent results.
My Verizon S5 pauses playback and locks the screen every time I start playback of a voicemail message and then hold the unit to my ear. NOTE: I am not pressing anything on the screen or any button. I hold the device 1 inch from my ear, and it does the same thing. It only does this one time per message. After I unlock the phone and resume playback, I can listen to it fine (holding it to my ear) without it locking again.
