Hey guys, i did a test with two omnia 7s and this is what i got
I got an omnia last december (left) and another a month after (right).
There is a blue tint on the left omnia's screen. the screen actually looks duller than the other. It's less bright and has slight colour differences.
I'd like to note that omnia on the left had a blue tint with the screen protector on, and it appears to be the same even after i removed the screen protector (which is what you see in the pictures)
Maybe you guys with omnia want to tell us how your omnia's display looks from an angle then we can see if this blue tint issue is truly normal or not

Is it true - Grey color and super amoled don't go together?

I recently purchased galaxy note and had dead pixel issue with it. So I got it replaced, and now the second one I ve got has this strange light greyish blemish visible on grey backgrounds. Also when I see the screen with grey color on it the screen doesn`t look uniform where as in all rest of the colors it looks uniform. Please have a look at the attached pictures and let me know if its normal ?
Also please set your brightness to 15% or below to check your devices.
Heres the video for better view:

Honestly, I don't see any blemishes at all. However, I do see a lot of air bubbles trapped under a screen protector. Are you using one?

No issues on my Note
No issues with the screen, no grey spots no bubbles, no screen protector.
My screen is great.

Same thing happened to me. The 1st note I got had dead pixels and dust moving behind the screen. The second one had those dark lines on grey and white color... the first one had those too but not as much as the second one. I sent them both back for a refund. Don't know if I should try my luck on a third one..
Here are some photos:

White dots on my display

Hello!
I have some 3 - 4 white dots / brighter dots when I am viewing white pictures, or websites. Can this somehow be fixed? :O
Yes by installing a new lcd screen Happens when the screen has been put under too much pressure at that point or simply by using it for a long time... These phones are startong to get older you know ;-)

Thanks and is a new LCD display very expensive? :I
Its not cheap :-( You can find them on ebay and the like but the big problem is changing it! The HD2 isnt very tinker-friendly... Is the problem really that big? :-S

dead pixels

Hey there, I've recently installed AEX 5.8 and after a few days of usage, I realised that my phone got 2 dead pixels. They're visible as extra white spots only on white background. I was using curved substratum layer to make display edges rounded, could it be because of that?
Any help or feedback is appreciated and would be beneficial for other users....
I have an Deadpixel too. No Subtratum here

The only thing curve could have done was burn in your screen which is easy to fix on an lcd display
When I bought my psp I got a dead pixel and the device was new... It happens sometimes especially on cheap display or badly tested ones before they put it in the device
You can't do anything for it expect maybe use the warranty
