What launcher is everyone using?
I use launcher pro and adw

Tried them all and it seems to run like it shud be there.

i use launcher pro atm, mainly because of the config dock, scrollable widgets (pure message) and the nice zoom out effect when one closes a program or window!
[X] LauncherPro
- smooth (imho smoother than adw or stock)
- nice, configurable dock with notifications and icons - good animations

Launcher Pro for me also. Used some others but this is great with the bottom dock
Lol sorry, no poll
LauncherPro
Anyone no how to edit in a poll?
Using the stock HTC Sense, just love the deam thing
Tell me what should I put in poll and I will put!
-stock launcher
-launcher pro
-zeam launcher
-helix launcher
-adw.launcher
-slide screen
[...]
I love both LauncherPro and ADW Launcher. Cant stand having widgets in different styles and colors though so I don't use any of them, I'm sorry to say.
Why can't the 'Pure' widgets be lowered a few pixels I hate them attach to the notification bar and the side of the screen, it looks like a mess .
I went for the ADW.launcher, but i'm currently giving LauncherPro a second try, and I must say i like it.
Pros ADW.launcher:
- 5+ icon coloumns on homescreen
- Gestures
Pros LauncherPro:
- Nice dock
- Seems a bit faster/smoother
- 3D appdrawer is amazing
Launcher pro is my favourite.

+1 Such a shame, especially with the scrolling, find myself pulling down the notification bar way too much.
Only 1 other person using Sense? That's the reason I got my Desire.
Anyway;
Sense UI - beautiful piece of kit.
ADW - Fantastic, especially custom widget sizes. Eagerly awaiting themes
Acer Launcher - Just for simplicity.

GO Launcher

Just trying to get an overview of user experience with GO Launcher and apps on the desire.
Personally I find it very smooth and responsive. Is there better out there?
I own a HTC Desire, it's smooth enough, but if you starting using lot's of widgets and so on it gets heavier. It does a good job for all the fancy stuff tho. And pretty cool themes too.
I use it too. I found that it's the most polished launcher for gingerbread.
some unavailable feature
1. since they develop the launcher, they should be able to build full screen animation for its weather widget.
2. The unlocker screen cannot trigger the animation. So even the great HTC clock cannot have the animation.
Interesting points. I'm using it on ICS, works well, seems smoother than stock launcher. I'm using HD widgets for the clock and weather (full screen). Im trying the GO Launcher HD for tablets on my tf101 eepad, quite impressed with it.
I don't know about ICS. While I found it to be the best on GB on ICS I would recommend Apex.
I also use GO Launcher for HTC Desire. I didn't found another launcher to move better. Best so far...
for me it is the smoother and most customisable launcher.
I used ADW and ADW EX for a really long time. But then switched over to GO Launcher EX.
It's fast, stable, smooth and has a lot of features. For me the best decision...
very nice launcher!
I first used, and bought, Launcher Pro, don't remember the reason but I changed to Go Launcher after about 6 months. I used it for over a year, until I flashed to ICS and now JB, and I use Nova. Was really happy with Go Launcher, but Nova was pre-installed so I decided to try it, and it is really awesome.
I found go launcher consumes too much memory for a HTC Desire and it crashes a lot.
I really like it, but I have better
go launcher is bad launcher
Best launcher for gb imo. I just use basic flip effect as 3d can lag but otherwise it's great. Mildwild Rom.

Which is the best launcher?
I'd say the smoothest launcher now is Nova Launcher.
Works like a charm for me. Has all the options I need.
This is my opinion!

I agree that nova is the better launcher (I run it on my gnex) but found it lagged my desire somewhat, hence sticking with go. Even go does somewhat with visual settings using certain effects, rooted using Mildwild.

I used this launcher before i flashed a MildWild ROM. Now i just use the Xperia launcher from this ROM
Ever since I discovered GO I never liked any other launcher. Tried them all, but u will never get so many customizations with others. Plus it has gesture controls. FOR FREE!
I'm using CM7.2. Deleted that ADW crap from CM ROM and installed GO Launcher EX instead. In fact, I also use GO Contacts, GO SMS, GO Keyboard, GO Locker and Toucher.
The GO Team is the best!

which is the best android launcher available and what are you using??

so there are a lot of third party launchers out there, what do you vote for as the best and why??
i currently use nova launcher but i want to try another launcher for my s5
Opt for launcher x
Latest Nova Launcher beta with Pixel style icon pack.
I like stock Pixel look better than Nexus look.

I am currently using CM 3d launcher. I have grown accustomed to using. I like when someone picks up my phone to try and find stuff it's hard cause they don't know where to look.
I'm using evie it is similar to ASAP launcher, I like the intuitive design compared with other launchers out there

What launchers do you use with your rooted Moto X Play?

I am currently running the Turbo ROM and don't really find the stock launcher that came with it (cyanogenmod style) very nice. I was wondering what other rooted Moto X Play people use, do you use the stock ROM launcher or a custom one? If so any suggestions?
Nova is good - light and customisable. Lightning Launcher is also very light and extremely customisable, a bit hard to learn, but onCe you get you'll love it. T-UI is very light and may work well as a privacy protector as it only has text interface and a lot of people won't know how to use it. If you're not looking for experiments and need a proper launcher I'd recommend Nova
Google Now Launcher
Latest Nova launcher has night mode also , very nice.

Why only four columns ?

Hello,
I've realized that the homescreen contains only four columns. Unlike the dock with five icons. This is very weird.
All nexus, pixel and phone with android stock got the five icons.
What can I do about it ?
Thanks
Not sure with the stock Launcher, but I use Nova Prime launcher. Lots of options.

Stock -> 4 volumns.
I'm gone to Nova :/ sic...
Yeah this was horrible. Just back on the Moto after 3 weeks with an iPhone 6 during a repair. Felt like I was using a Fisher Price phone on the Moto! Have used the ADB trick to lower DPI setting to 540, and installed/purchased Nova Launcher Prime. Much better! A few little graphical glitches from the DPI change and certain assets not behaving.
Nova launcher

Dpi changes break SwiftKey so I am never doing them. Plus their effect on battery lifetime and responsivity are nil unless you are a heavy graphics user, mostly gamers.
