Has anyone figured out a solution for unofficial mobile charging? I am presently trying to find some sort of cigarette charging solution so that my portable solar panel can offer me a charge off the grid. The same solution would obviously work in a car too but I don't want to order the official charger from Motorola and Amazon still has the damn thing on preorder.

I'm looking to buy a WIFI Xoom in the US and want to know if the standard charger it comes with also will work with our 220 volt/50 hertz system? I understand the Xoom does not charge via USB and need assuranse I'll be able to charge it back home.
Has your charger got the 100-240V~50/60Hz electrical specification printed on it?
Just bought a Xoom in the satetes some days ago. You will be fine charging it in europe, checked it.
Someone posted a picture of the actual charger. Check here!
Works fine, I even have 2 of the chargers as i bought the dock station as well. They are multi voltage and work in the UK just fine all you need is a plug adapter.
Lordao
Thank you guys! Just what I needed to know. My Xoom is now ordered!

I ordered a WIFI only Xoom from B&H Photo and Video (www.bhphotovideo.com) on 27 March. Tracking shows i should get it today or tomorrow, can't wait!
Thanks Poisike, ordered a Xoom Wi-Fi there today too ... ;-)
If I hadn't already pre-ordered from Dixons I'd be placing my order too! Taking into account shipping and taxes though the price difference is negligable, even though I'd probably get it sooner if I ordered from the States.
No offense, but I don't think any electronic device manufactured in the past 15 years doesn't have a multi voltage charger. My laptops in 1997 were multi charger.
Besides, if you really want the device and you weren't 100% sure, you could always get a converter.
It doesn't seem to exist anywhere else but amazon and not even amazon has it in stock anymore, where are we supposed to get this adapter from? I'd love to have one, but no body has it available. Can't figure out where it'll be come from next, anyone got any clues I've missed?

Just ordered one on Amazon. Why would you want LG to manufacture this? It is a licence free and royalty free tech. Hopefully down the road we will see them for < 10 dollars.
Slimport to HDMI Adapter with USB charging.

Slimport to HDMI Cable

I saw on their website they will be releasing a VGA adapter early this year.

Thanks a lot for that second link. I've been scouring this forum for a link to a MyDP/SlimPort solution that didn't cost $70+ XD.
Did you buy the adapter or the cable? How's it working out for you?
Finding it Seriously difficult to find a QI Wireless Charging Pad here in the UK
Hey guys, I have spend almost a full week hours googling and tried contacting deiffrent retailers with no success!
I did love these wireless chargers to accompany me and my wifes nexus 4's
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zens-Qi-Double-Wireless-Charger/dp/B005PL4JCE/ref=pd_sim_sbs_ce_2
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Energizer-I...-3-Position/dp/B0041RRORA/ref=pd_sim_sbs_ce_8
but it seems any time i find 1 we like it end up being from usa...which isn't a problem if it would atleast include a uk mains adaptor...
can anyone recommend what I should do or has anyone purchased these before who can sugguest what I should mabe do as am seriously confused after going thru all of this lol
I'm getting one of these by hopefully the end of next week:
http://www.fasttech.com/products/11...owered-qi-inductive-wireless-charger-for-car-
It came to less than £30 including delivery.

I purchased http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005PL5GSA/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it works very well with my Nexus 4. Definitely have UK plug.
Edit: And as I post, I notice it is out of stock - errr, whoops.
Yeah, sadly this is a global issue. There are no QI chargers anywhere is seems. I have looked everywhere. There are no Energizer, Duracell powermats. Nothing. I had to order the orb, and am totally happy with it. I did find the Nokia charger at an at&t store but it was loud and pottery much useless. The orb is awesome, how you find one.

Would the phone run alright on three network?
Has anyone had one from them?

yes you get all the oneplus charging contents usb c cable oneplus foreign charger block plus another socket to uk socket.
it only took 5 days to arrive via courier. i was able to check online the progress of where the parcel was. the company they used was called oneworld which i had to find on my own with a quick google search.
the only issue i have had today is setting it up LOL. the phone wont OTA update so i have spent the day trying to figure all that out and seeing as my last phone was the moto g 1st gen iv found it all a bit much for my first day but hopefully i will get into the swings of things. i have never rooted a phone before so any help would be appreciated. iv installed the updates manually by finding links on the web but my question is this, is the phone already rooted as it is the chinese A2001 MODEL. If its not will my updates have to be installed again if i root it?
also can someone give me a link to a easy guide for help please?

I can't help you with the phone specifically as I don't have it. Trying to work out if I'm getting this or the new nexus
Root is usually pretty simple, just a flash jver adb for recovery and then flash SuperSU or something
i want one two. So if you order from the EU warehouse, do you have to pay customs charges to UK and does it come with a UK plug. Thanks

No you shouldn't as it is coming from within the EU. I would be more worried about the lte support in the UK it might not support band 20 which is o2 / vodafone

hello,
is the phone fully functional in europe?
4g works?
you installed European rom or not?
I'm about sick and tired of the terrible USB cable that came with this phone. Fast charging with the OEM cable is nearly impossible!! Can anyone recommend me a decent quality USB cable that supports fast charging and at least 6ft on Amazon? I would really appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!
if you're in the UK check out the betron pleated USB cables. Fast charge compatible and only £3.99 free delivery. works great
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Betron-Rein...TF8&qid=1455478189&sr=8-2&keywords=betron+usb
Yeah I'm in the US, I tried two purchases but didn't have any luck with delivery to US. Looks like exactly what I'm looking for though.

I second this. I got a red one of these cables and can't believe how good they are.
Fast charge as soon as plugged in, no more unplugging and replugging to get the fast charge to work.
Connecting to pc works flawlessly as well and data transfer speeds are fast.
Do you know where I can purchase one in the US? Or possibly even one that will just ship to the US? I can't find anything online that will ship to the US.
