I hope you have the old cover. You did not remove the magnet from the old cover and glue it to the new one! The screen rotation sensor is a magnet operated switch.

Hi everyone,
this is my first thread, so just move it somewhere else if its wrong here.
In this XDA thread is the pressure sensor described:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/general/guide-test-waterproofing-water-t2897886
My idea was to use this sensor as a pressure information to use it as a force touch sensor. I don't know much about programming and it is maybe not possible to modify the system so that it's working. But I hat this idea and I just wanted to share it with you.
I don't have more information about this idea. Maybe someone else has any ideas if it's possible.
PS:
Sorry for my bad english. I'm from Germany and still learing the language.
I think you'll find:
1) It's not sensitive enough and;
2) The pressure will change according to your environment and would need to be calibrated very often
Example: A storm is coming and suddenly it thinks you are no longer pressing your screen?
Yes, that would be a problem.
Okay, can be closed.
