Started using Andriod on HD2, using the rom DL Desire NAND version, was great. Started downloading a few apps and stuff, then after a while started saying Low on space Phone storage space is getting low. So I deleted apps and cleared data and it still stays there, anyone else had this? Or can help me clean it up?

when I use only nand (installing apps to my phone) my reception works flawless!
I have 98% of the time a signal. But when I use a build that has a data.img or works in any way with the sd card, the reception drops like flies. also my device gets slower..
it's really a pain in the ass. when I get a new phone, it will be an android phone but with a much bigger internal storage.
as final thing I wish to say: thanks to everyone making nand possible, I now run a clean android install with no apps just google apps, and have a great reception.
the only thing that bugs me is data storage without reception problems and lag.
but i can live with that.
"NAND version" is not just the apps on the phone memory.
it's the whole android system that is loaded from the internal memory.
your question is not really clear..
True. .. nand is phone only unless you link a data image on sd. But as soon as you do, the phone starts acting weird, signal drops and lag..

Greetings all
I have a HD2 running Android. The ROM is DL DesireZ v2 internal. software number 1.72.466.4
I am at an understanding there is a new version out but the flash I have atm is 100% working besides one thing....the phone memory.
When I first flashed it I had loads of phone memory, I think it was like what, 150mb?
But I downloaded lots of apps, even used the Apps2Sd app to save space on the phone memory.
So after a while, I ran out of phone memory, how? I have no idea.
I have deleted all the apps I had and I still have <10mb space on my phone memory and I can not find ANYTHING on the phone memory taking up this space.
Anyone else have this issue?
My gf is going nuts at me over this, she said she may as well have the Win 6.5 back on it, since she had no apps anyways
Cheers,
Gib
yea i have the same problem..
all my apps are installed on my sd card or my ext3 partition.
still i have very little phone memory available.
somehow it looks like the phone is saving the app on the phone but then moving it to the sd card without removing it on the phone memory and causing data loss?
also when updating an app i just lose a lot of internal memory..
how is it possible that there are a lot of people with this problem (i searched the forums) and nobody know an answer to this?
hey, i have an unrooted mt4g about a week ago i had to do a hard reset on it to fix a market problem but i was able to recover most of my apps and was going from there with little problem until a few days the "low internal storage" message started showing in my notifications. since seeing it, i have looked through my apps and realize there is no possible way they can take up that much space by themselves (though i deleted some i didnt use oping to abate the problem). right now, im trying to go phone storage to see if anything unnecessary is lurking there but im having trouble deciphering the files
im sure its not becaause of apps because before the initial reset, i had even more apps than currently without this problem. its like it materialized out of nowhere
i still have the low storage problem and im wonderiung of its due to something like an error stacking log or temp files. or maybe an app i installed did something to the phone memory. is there anyway to fix this and be certain of the problem or will another reset be necessary
Hey guys,
When I install and app it all works well except when I run it.
I get about 5 minutes of game play out of the app ( in this case fruit ninja ) and
then the phone turns off.. and restarts.
Is there a fix to this?
Is my device broken?
which rom are you using? because most of the sense 3.0 and 3.5 roms makes force closes after closure of application
Go and check how much memory you have left on the phone, if its dropping below 45mb then your asking for problems, try moving more apps into sd card memory (hope you have at least 500mb there ) use App2SD or similar to move the apps
Also boot into magldr and cleare the cache and fix permissiond
Should Help
Hi I have been having issues with running out of storage space on my new S5 and was wondering if anyone here knew of any good apps to help me out that wouldn't involve me loosing my precious media files as I dont have a pc at the moment and have nothing else to store these files on, I know you can compress files on a pc and was wondering if there is any good apps out there for this ? another way Ive thought of would be to get a app like ccleaner but for my phone and again does anyone know of any good apps for this ? If anyone else has any ideas or knows of any other ways I would be able to save storage space, also doesn't matter if the apps are paid or not but I won't be rooting my phone for awhile yet.
Any help/advice etc is greatly appreciated and my phone is only a 16GB with a 32GB sd card (Yes Ive realised this isn't enough but can't afford a bigger sd card yet)
BTW I dont know a whole hell of alot about this phone yet
Try Clean Master.
The stock storage manager in the stock settings works pretty well foe the internal sd card, breaks down everything by whats taking what, even lets you clear the cache.

You should try clearing cache. I had a similar storage problem on my S3 Mini and when I cleared cache, boom, everything was back to normal
