Having problems connect my a7 to my droid x phone. (Paired but not connected) i was hoping someone could help.
got the scope
Q: I cannot pair my Bluetooth device with my A7 Tablet. It will pair, but not connect. What is wrong?
The tablet can only connect with A2DP Bluetooth devices which are stereo audio. Although the tablet may “see” other devices and pair with them, it cannot “talk” to them through a proper connection unless they are A2DP audio. Audio Bluetooth devices are supported, but not printers, scanners, barcode readers, etc.

Hello everyone, I was wondering if a bluetooth receiver would work with the nook color with the latest nightly release. The receiver is this but i'm not sure if the nook can stream music to it via bluetooth. Thanks in advance.
If it can, I would lovely jump on it.
I don't use blue-tooth at all.
I stream music daily to my Jabra SP700 (A2DP) from my nook (and then use the Jabra as an FM transmitter). It works...
How do you do that, DM?
I could enable blue-tooth, set it up, paired and connected to my other devices (one at a time) and the best I could do was transferring small files from my phone and the NC via Bluetooth File Transfer app. Last time I tried and successfully connecting to my Plantronics Voyager 520 and Motorola (who on earth remember the model #) but just simply couldn't get any music through.
Any settings somewhere that I missed?
Sadly, i cannot say i really have any advice. All i had to do was make the Sp700 discoverable, then let the nook connect. Once i did, it was connected and passing "phone and media audio"..
If you don't mind, might I know which media player you've played your music files?

What's the sound quality like?
Phone connects to my car via bluetooth for calls only as headunit doesn't do audio.
I want to add a bluetooth receiver to the car for audio (belkin bluetooth caraudio connect) while still be able to use my headunit for calls.
Is this possible? Or will the phone only allow one audio device at a time?
I would only be using one audio device at a time, but they would both need to be constantly connected
Did you double check that audio is enabled for your car bluetooth? In the N4's settings.
And after trying, I can't get 2 BT devices to connect at the same time.
I have 2 bluetooth devices currently connected to my N4, jabra wave headset for phone audio and jambox for media audio, works perfectly. Just have to go into the bluetooth profiles for each and disable the audio you don't want (ie phone audio for headunit, and media audio for belkin) Not 100% sure it will work with your devices, but certainly can be done with some.

Cheers
did anyone manage to get audio streaming working on CM10.1?
I only get audio through the phone speakers.
I tried with PowerAmp's feature called "Route Output" and even I set the option to my bluetooth speakers (I have the MXBT chinese bluetooth speakers).
Things that worked over bluetooth:
pair and connect to any bt device and my laptop
send file to my phone from ubuntu
I can get you the log files if you want

So, answering my own post, I've been reading around and testing a bit...
I tried yesterday Mono Bluetooth Router (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maxistar.monobluetoothfree) and it surprisingly works, streaming PowerAmp to my nokia hands-free earpiece.
Does anyone know what is this CyanogenMod using as a BT driver? BlueZ or BroadComm's stack?
I read that these guys are porting BlueZ to Android 4.2, it would be nice to have this software back!

There is a post here, looking for people to work on this port ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2096399 )

Not ideal I realize, but you can get a Bluetooth adapter for your TV for about $30
TaoTronics TT-BA01 Wireless Portable Bluetooth Stereo Music Transmitter (Not A Bluetooth Receiver) for 3.5mm Audio Devices (iPod, MP3/MP4, TV, Kindle Fire, Media Players...) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004B8GF7Y/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_AYaQub10TC9DQ
my bluetooth beanie wont pair either.
Unfortunately my LG 3d tv doesnt even have a 3.5mm port! only optical or hdmi
Pairing Successful!
I found a workaround to pair my LG HBS-830 since doing a regular bluetooth search in the nexus player doesn't detect any headphones.. However, I'm now looking for another workaround to actually route the audio to the headphones!
To pair your headphones, just install ES File Explorer, and when you open it, there is an option to use bluetooth to connect to other devices in order to transfer files. However, when you do a scan for devices, the headphones actually show up (when set in pairing mode), and by clicking on it, it will automatically pair and appear in the nexus player's list of paired bluetooth devices.
By switching your headphones off/on, it automatically connects to your nexus player and even shows connected under the list of bluetooth devices, however no audio is routed to the headphones by default.. it is still routed to TV speakers.
So here you go, pairing is done.. let's now try to route audio to those headphones!
Hope this helps!

i was able to pair my headphones but they show up as a remote...its pretty silly not to ahve bluetooth audio built into this device. how about a "the wife is asleep" mode lol
My pom100 headphones pair just fine but I wanted a Bluetooth receiver I could use with my audio technicas. I have an mpow I use for the car and I tried using it with the nexus player. It can see it but cannot pair. Anyone have a receiver that DOES work?

Hello,
I bought an Android radio for my car. It is an Android 8 from Pumpkin the Model ND1071B. It works fine so far, only the FM connection is not how I like it but that's more of an hardware issue I think.
At the moment I want to cennect my Sony Walkman with the radio via Bluetooth to play the music that I have on it. But I can not find a way to get it working. When I search via the radios Bluetooth menu for the Walkman, it does find it.
When I search via the Walkman for the Radio I find it and it does connect but I get no response from the radio.
Do I need an update or an other App?
Thanks for any Help
Max
You most likely won't be able to bluetooth it. The bluetooth ability on these machines is pretty much restricted to phones and basic obd2 adapters. There hasn't ever been much success in connecting anything beyond that.
If your walkman has a wired earphone output jack then probably the best way is a hard wire connection between the earphone jack and the aux av input on your pumpkin.
Interesting, I thought Bluetooth is somewhat universal.
Is that a software problem or a hardware issue?
PS: I once got it working I connected my Walkman and the sound was played at my radio. I never got it working again.
