Just updated my circle battery widget and somehow with the latest update my phone is now reporting battery stats in 1% increments. I had read that the Droid X only reports in 10% increments so I don't know if this is just an error with CBW and these stats are inaccurate, however so far they seem fairly legit to what my battery usage would be.

Same thing here! Hopefully this is accurate and not some estimation CBW is doing.
i just downloaded the widget and my battery went to 15 percent to show the critical message, the widget showed that as well! very cool! I've never used this widget, but is it a big battery drain?
I started to use it to after i saw this post... its hard to say if it uses alot of battery... its just different seeing the battery percentages go down by one and not ten... haha

off topic, but what is your launcher? how did you get your dock to look like that? I have the "words" on mine with launcher pro but I like the way your dock looks, seems slimmer, and app launcher look in the middle..

nah it isn't a big drain, it just seems like your battery is draining quicker now that it's in 1%

The dock i made myself in photoshop, it's about half the height of the regular docks for launcher pro. And the app button i modified from a theme package for launcher pro along with the text icons. Forget which one it is though,

Has the driver been updated to provide 1% stats? Otherwise it's just an estimation as other widgets showing 1% have done.

here is the clock widget:

seems like the widget isnt as accurate as i thought it was. going into the battery menu of the x, it shows me at 90%, now i understand this could be 99 or 91, but its still 90%. The widget showed me at 85%, thats a pretty big difference!
Yeah me too. Battery showed in 70s but said 61...

Thanks to the OP for this as I had this on the Eris and come to rely on it, spent a day looking for one thinking it wouldn't work after reading the 10% comments.
Works well enough. Battery shows 30% and circle shows 34..notice various difference plus and minus of around 3-5.

Found this app the other day and can't believe I went this long without it!
Screen Filter. It's free from the marketplace. It tones down your brightness significantly under the lowest setting in TouchWiz.
I used to keep sunglasses next to my bed for sleepy-time Reddit browsing, but not any more!
Here's an A-B for you non believers. First photo is at lowest brightness setting in TouchWiz. Second photo is at 34.1% brightness (toggled by Screen Filter widget)

that sucks ... everything is great about the ROM except for battery life (and I guess some of the other crap they still haven't fixed like the physical keyboard lag, grr). It's faster for me than most of the deodexed ROMs I've tried that took out all the Samsprint "bloat".

Odd, I left GPS and wifi on took a nap, five hours later and I'm still at 100%. Of course GPS is not working for me, so now I have to go through that whole rigamorale of getting it to work. Oh yeah I'm on the EF10 modem.
Huh, I had the phone running for 5 hours in a real poor signal area after I flashed EF02 and at the end of the night I was still at 70%. Today I'm going through the usual battery calibration stuff so I won't know for sure for another day or two, but initially it seems pretty good on my phone, (using EF02 modem).
Hm that's weird with 2 hours of usage screen on for a little more than an hour, wifi on the whole time and I still have 79%

My EE03 was killer until I started messing with themes and then it went to ****. EF has been ok so far.
One other thing I noticed is that when you have your phone plugged into the computer and not the wall it doesn't see it as being plugged in even though it's charging. At the moment I have it plugged into my laptop so it's obviously charging but my screen shows it being on battery for 38 min 52 sec

Or an uncalibrated battery meter. The first battery cycle after a flash can give you some wonky stats, I usually run a calibration and at least one more full charge/discharge before I can pass judgement on battery life.
I seem to be getting IMPOSSIBLY good battery life on this. I've had it off charger for 3 hours + and have been using it like crazy installing apps and configuring. I'm still at 75%.
I fully charged and ran battery calibration when I got up. Who knows, maybe it'll drop 50% in the next hour, but for now, this is stunning!
PS I'm also getting like 15% phone idle, so I don't know if that's accurate.
My battery life is pretty bad too

K0nane removed CIQ. Android system is reporting everything going through the OS. It was listed as Display on Froyo. It is meaningless either way unless it is still 90% after several hours of standby, then it is a wakelock issue.

No.

Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
There is slight drain, but it's nothing really noticeable.. at least not on the latest version of good lock. I had about 2hr 35min SoT at 54% today with good lock running the entire time.. To put it into perspective, I had about 3 hours of SoT with the normal system UI with 49% left.
Either way, the battery trade off is well worth having a vanilla android UI but with all of Samsung's lovely customisations.

The latest version of Good Lock does not constantly prompt location, which is why I installed it and ran it for a bit. The first version did, and that's why I uninstalled it. But since I've decided to root and use Xposed modules, I'm back at the normal system UI.
What issue caused you to uninstall it? I'm rather curious.
any possible way to show icon labels for wifi bluetooth, location ect... in the pull down menue
Seems to consistently take about 4% off my battery. Haven't decided if that's enough to really care. Really like the lock screen.
It took over 15% of my battery (no location enabled, just "everywhere"). It was next under the screen in battery stats. Needless to say I uninstalled it because of that only. Otherwise I kind of liked it except for the multitasking.

I've seen a little bit of battery drain but I get an entire day out of my phone so I'm not worried about it. Never as much as you say though. Maybe uninstall and reinstall it. I love the new UI. Also HUGE update came out today
I think that the battery usage is dependent on the number of routines that you run. I personally just set up the default routine to my liking and don't have any others set up and Goodlock typically stays under 5% usage.
