I am new to all this and I have done some searches, just not sure what everything is all the time. So here is my situation. I have an activation code everything was working great other than in call volume, ringer volume and alarm volume. Some reception issues as well but i don't know if that is related. I have a real hard time getting into the screen to flash by holding volume down button and green button. 98% of the time it won't work. now i have the schubert flash. Not sure what the advantages of this one is but my live services do not work. I get the check back message like i did before i had an activation code. So what would be the best ROM that would take care of my volume issues(which i fixed with registry, IDK why i messed with it) and give me live services?
When i get int 4 color screen when i hold down and shut the phone off: my phone reads:
PB8110 HX-B3
SPL-2.08 HSPL 8G XE
0x05
hspl 0X50
When i do it from turning it on it reads:
LEO1000 HX-B3 (2k)
NSPL0.96.255.0
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(touch) NA
SD NONE
Partition INFO-v211v413
Maybe this can help with my problems?

I've had my Wizard/Vario for about 5 months-ish maybe less.
I have the latest QTek software:
IPL 2.17
SPL 2.17
GSM 02.07.10
OS 2.17.7.2
The problem I have is when I recieve a text message the screen goes white with some black lines alone the side - I use the power button to turn off the screen and then power it power on (not a soft reset) it clears - this happens when browsing contacts and receiving texts
Does anyone have this problem?
I can provide a screenshot if you need me too.

Whenever I start a phone call, the screen blanks (becomes black) but the phone call can continue. I have to press the power button twice to "resuscitate" my device.
Is this normal? If not are there any steps to solve it?
Of course I set the power settings to keep the device ON at least for 5 minutes both on batteries and on charger.
Backlight question:
I cannot see the backlight settings, which in my former device (kaiser) where under power settings area. Is this normal?

a bit more info would help diagnose your problem. like, did you flash a custom ROM to your device? if yes, which one? i suspect you did not prepare your phone for flashing. go here ---> HD Dummies Flashing Guide follow the instructions and see if this works. hope this helps!
If it is not SW related, try pulling lcd flat cable from board and reconnect.

I have a problem with my HD2, suddenly the END/POWER button started freeze the touch screen. Every time when I press the END button the screen touch screen freezes, when the phone wakes up, when end a call or when I long press for the RESTART menu.
I have installed different NAND roms and the problem persists. I made a TASK 29, change the radio and nothing!.
I Installed Windows Phone and the issued does not appear, the end button does not affect the touch screen.
Somebody have a clue about this? Maybe it is a hardware issue related to the way that the kernels handles the keys.
I have a TMOUS HD2, standard battery and a 16 GB SD.

Dude, just doing a general search either here or google and u'll find out u r not d only one suffering from the HD2's end touch key freezing up d screen issue...i suffered it myself and d only n best advice any1 can give u (if u don't have or ur warranty has expired) is 2 have d digitizer-screen replaced or continue managing it...Avoid using d end-key as much as possible, i use button-savior and extended controls 2 shutdown or restart my phone.
I have a htc touch(elf),i went to upgrade the os but something went wrong so it doesnt work, i have no os on it now it turns on and all i get is the htc smart phone logo,,,i did a hard reset,when i turn it on and press the camera button i get the tricolor screen and some numbers can some one please help me
