I'm looking for a software to connect my phone to Windows 7!!
my phone is hd 2 and my windows is wp7!!
please help me!

Your only option is Zune. WP7 is set up to use Zune as the equivalent of Device centre.
Schapps is planning release of a utility that will look like Device Centre but work with WP7 - will come after the next WP7 update.

Strange, Mobile center is preinstalled on the Windows vista.
What version of vista are you using?
Have you tried to install activesync 4.5?
version of vista is BusinessN
I have not installed active sync 4.5 since microsoft are saying the the new product to use is Mobile device centre and active sync does not work
my phone is the Atom Exec
could try re-installing WMDC from the microsoft website http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/devicecenter.mspx
Warning: This would require using the winows genuine advantage tool.
still does not work
Still dosn't even install?
Dissapointing. I was thinking how nice it was to be free of Activesync.
Has the Artmeins been connected to windows yet? did it attempt to recognise new device and install drivers?
On a side note it's nice that Microsoft put so much effort into improving their error messages. A windows component is missing eh? er which one!!!
PS. This may sound crazy, but have you attempted to connect the Artemis with it switched off. I allways had trouble connecting windows Mobile devices with them turned on, but never had same difficulties with the device in standby, I now do this automatically, so can't comment on if it happens still in Vista. The issue was that when on, often the device was not recognised.

Welcome to the forums! First place to visit is the WIKI for you device here. You'll find some info on your Magician there.
But, more directly to your question. If you're running Windows 2000/XP you'll need to get Activesync here. If you're running Windows Vista you'll need to get Windows Mobile Device Center here. They're both straight forward and easy to use.
With the radio/reception issue, you'll have to sit tight as there's not a lot you can do at the moment with that. Good luck and have fun!
I've had my Mogul for about a month now...before it I had an Apache PPC-6700. I'm runing Windows Vista with the latest Windows Mobile Device Center installed. I have the hardest time getting Windows to recognize my Mogul. I never had problems with my 6700. I have to unplug/replug my Mogul three or four times before Windows sees it. Is anyone else having this issue? Or is it possibly my connection on my phone?
Have you tried it on another computer? Also you may want to delete the sync relationship from the windows mobile device center and the phone in active sync: You do this by opening mobile device center on the computer without the phone connected and then going to mobile device settings>end a partnership>click on any of the partnerships and then click end partnership.
On the phone you would go to start>programs>activesync>menu>options>highlight windows PC or whatever name is there and the select delete, repeat for any other computers there.
Also check to make sure you dont have any other syncing software conflicting with windows mobile device center or taking up the com port...like palm desktop or blackberry desktop manager or Itunes sometimes uses the same port and finally try temporarily disabling your firewall especially if you are using something other than windows firewall as it is normal the main reason a com/port would be blocked and retest if that fixes it then its the firewall turn it back on but then contact your security center support to see how to open an exception for windows mobile device center.
I have several other people I work with and they all have the Mogul and have the same issue with their Vista laptops. I wonder if it is a hardware problem. We all have Dell Latitude D620's. I'm going to check for a newer driver.

Might be, if you downloaded the most current device center when you go to Program features in the control panel make sure it also has the device center driver update there with it, I have a vista laptop and desktop, the laptop is an HP dv6000 and the Dell is a c521 and both work fine.
I try to pair it, but Windows 7 keep saying it can't find a driver for the HD2... it does succeed in pairing, but gives the troubleshoot sign...
What can I do ?
you need to install windows mobile device center and then it should work. I managed to get it working and that was the only thing I installed.
just use windows update to do the install and it works like a charm. windows mobile device center and drivers are installed automatically via update.
I can confirm it works on Windows 7, but make sure your computer has a live Internet connection when you do the first connection as it has to download a couple of updates from Microsoft. It even downloads the correct image!
Edit: This should also work on Vista OK too. It went onto XP with ActiveSync 4.5 without problems also.
Edit (2): Not significant, but I note that on Windows 7 it's still called 'Windows Mobile' and not 'Windows Phone' as Microsoft now call their mobile OS!
I had no problem connecting my HD2 to Windows 7.
Works very smooth.
Probably the live internet connection is a must!
Good luck.

Hi there everyone. I'm having some problems synchronizing my TD2 that I would really appretiate some help with.
I'm using a pretty vanilla TD2, retail with no significant changes. I was synchronizing it with Outlook 2003 on my previous PC with no problems what so ever. Now, i've moved across to Windows 7 (64bit Enterprise) and Office 2007, and I cannot for the life of me get it working.
I've tried a number of things, including changing over the "Enable faster data synchronizing" option under USB to PC connections, upgrading to the new WM6.5 rom, and even connecting via bluetooth - all in vain.
Does anyone have any idea as to whats going wrong, and how I can go about correcting it?
Thanks in advance for any help with this issue.
Make sure you have Windows Mobile Device Centre 6.1 installed as Active sync won't work with 7.

Hi
I have Windows 7 64 bit and mine works better than Vista.
Go to this link:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/downloads/microsoft/device-center-download.mspx
Download appropriate version (32bit or 64 bit). Install it. Then plug in your TD2. Make sure you see some sort of notification on your phone and your PC that it has picked up the device. Wait for any configuration to occur.
Go to Windows Update and check if you need to install any HTC Usb device driver. If so install that too.
Restart once all installed. Plug in your TD2 into computer and activate Windows Mobile Device Centre and follow the prompts.
Oh and open activesync on your TD2 and check you haven't more than the 2 partnerships otherwise this causes problems too.
Cheers
