hi guys
I just installed the WP7 in my HD2 and it looks great, tough Im not able to sync with exchange. I get error 80072F0D each time I try. I have my company exchange cert installed, the one that works neat in W6.5 is there something "different" that we have to set in order to sync Exchange and HD2 with WP7?
Else, is there a good way to get a WP7 activation code now?
Thanks in advance

i got the same error - the magic does not support the mandated pin security policy my company enforces so it could not finish the account setup.
i ended up using Touchdown to sync with exchange for email and pim.

hmm yah very dissapointed when i realised that it does not support the pin security policy...which i think most company will be using..is there a workaround for this? i still like the default mail interface rather than touchdown..
Tried Roadsync ?

Hello friends,
i got mine Trophy today, and i want to know how i copy my outlook contacts to Trophy?
Regards
sorry, but you can't do it directly,
but you can syncronize your outlook with a windows live acount or with gmail.
after that, the phone syncronizes with the acount and that's it
Thanks, i did that, is the only way...
Dont like very much this method, the older one was better.
Regards
yes... i donĀ“t like'it but it seems is the only way for now.
Everybody talk's about an upgrade in January. I hope it will bring more good things than bad.
hope so..

Hi All,
I was wondering if there is an mail app for android like the one in wm6.5 from HTC.
I would like to have a mail app that can sync exchange and support mail folder sorting.
As it is now, i have to through each folder, manually, to see if theres some new mail for me. I would really love to have a mail app that was working as good as the one in wm6.5.
Does this exist at all om droid?
I'm pretty sure K-9 Mail can do what you want..
App Brain
I've tried K9, and i cant get it to connect to our exchange server. dont know why. I've done the basic setup, and during connection testing it just fails, with an error that i kinda cant use for anything.
I can give it ago again, and post the error here. Dont know if that will help me though.
after being fed up with marketplace being unavailable in greece, i decided to ccreate a US hotmail to use with my phone. thing is, although i got the phone to synchronise pretty much everything from my primary hotmail account, xbox live still syncs with the new one. so, is there a way to change the e-mail from which the phone gets its xbox live info from? i dunno, from the registry or something?? and on a completely different subject, since i reinstalled wp7 is there a way to batch install all my XAPs? thanks in advance!
Hi,
I am using HTC HD2 with XBmod-Yuki Build 8107.
i want to setup Outlook on my phone but its giving me the following error
"There is a problem with the certificate. Error code: 80072F0D"
I downloaded the Root CA certificate from my PC and installed it on the phone but the error persists.
Can anyone help?
Regards,
On every ROM for my HD2, I have to install 2 certificates from my Exchange Server. I forward them to my Hotmail Account and installed them, after this everything works fine.

i never tried exchange server . can anyoen shed somelight to me ?
still struggling with Outlook Exchange setup... funnily it connected once, downloaded a number of emails and then went back to the same error.
Can't figure out what went right for a brief period before going wrong again
Help please.
regards,
I never had any issues until Ultrafruit came alone, what I find now is that whilst I get the error is does actually download and sync with exchange, bit of a pain but it works, on the initial setup, tell it to download everything, then when it fails roll back the sync to only the last 7-14 days
Exchange can also fail if...
A your time zone and date isn't setup correctly
B you have a corrupt email in your inbox ( it will look ok, and will display fine but something in it is broken that you cant see)
C you have a email in your inbox with a HUGE attachment
D Cert errors, although as I said, mine was working with Xbmods rom

Hi thanks for the info, but i have none of the 4 issues u mentioned above but still can't connect to exchange.
Its possibly a problem with HD2/HD7 and Microsoft Outlook

The error is very much a certificate error, im not 100% sure but i don't think its just a case of getting the cert off the exchange, you need the Root cert to who issued that cert.
basically there needs to be a trusted chain of authority and WP is having a fit because it cant see that chain,,,,
i think
