[Q] LTE toggle on stock 4.2

Is it possible to add an LTE toggle in the mobile data settings to stock (rooted) 4.3, like CyanogenMod has???
Is there an app or Xposed framework module that can do this?
I am using a Tasker profile to switch to 2G only when I am connected to WiFi, and back to the previous state of GSM/WCDMA/LTE on disconnect from WiFi, but i cannot get it to work on stock 4.3 because there is no setting in the settings menu for it, only by using the dialer. I do this because at home my phone gets stuck on LTE even when there is no signal, and I cannot receive calls.

No, but with the GravityBox module can customize the quick toggles and its 'network mode' tile can switch between 2G/3G/LTE individually.

[Q] Wifi Issue

I am having issues with my wifi. After it has been in sleep mode for a while it will not connect properly. The WiFi is connected to a network but the icon is grey, not blue and will not actually do anything.
Another post suggested to turn off the Google Wifi scan but it was already off when i went to change the setting in advanced WiFi settings. Any other suggestions I could try?

Wifi - Settings - Advanced - Keep WiFi on during sleep -> Always
Wifi - Settings - Advanced - WiFi optimization -> turn it off
check those two, could help.

hey guys, i was wondering if there is an app that lets you toggle more than one quick setting at once, for example:
toggle name car, which would turn off: wifi, at the same time turn on Bluetooth, mobil data (4g/3g) etc.
toggle name home, turn off: mobile data, bluetooth, etc, and turn on wifi, auto brightness etc
you guys get the gnearl idea here, if there is any app like that please let me know. that would be much appreciated.

If you are not rooted and on Stock Touchwiz then you can try out apps like Profile Scheduler.
If you are on an AOSP ROM then that functionality is usually built into the ROM (go to settings -> profiles {under personal})

im rooted but i use MIUI V5, thats why i was wondering if there is any app for it. and also MIUI runs 4.2.2, is there any way to add it to homescreen?

Hotspot only working when touching screen, not by app?

Hi,
I would like to auto-start the hotspot with a bluetooth connection. This is to enable internet on my android headunit when i enter my car.
The strange thing is that the hotspot only works when i physically hit the hotspot icon in the notification bar. It does NOT work when i try to start it using any of the hotspot tools from the playstore.
Any ideas?

Are those apps allowed to work with screen off? Power management will kill them off if not set.

They are. I adjusted the power settings so they stay awake. I can see the wifi going offline and the Hotspot icon being enabled but the head unit is not getting an ip address.
It does get an ip address when I manually hit the Hotspot icon. Weird isn't it?
