Just saw this amazing app/game for yes again the fruitphone.

This is a must have for the diamond if someone could make something like this
There are so many things coming out for the fruitphone, i hope the same will happen for the diamond. And this little gadget is really cool.

Why does everything have to be useful?

Funny, that would be cool on the diamond

2D physics simulation, spring physics, probably OpenGL rendering for the sake of speed, Fast Fourier Analysis for the dancing part... Very much possible on the diamond - but none of these things I've done before But I don't see how this would not be very much possible on the diamond...
The only thing definitely NOT possible is the stretching-part with two fingers - since the diamond's screen is not multitouch capable.
Just my two cents ;-)

Having their source code would be a HUGE kickstart for someone taking on the dChalky project - they already do have physics - although it seems like they don't have spring dynamics in, yet...

Xperia1 panel instead of Tflo3d

Hello diamond-users,
I was reading some stuff about the release of the SE Xperia Panel

Since it is normal WM based, I think it is possible to install on our Diamonds. Don't know if it is good or bad, but I am sure there are people who just want to do this for fun.
I have been looking if I could find some kind of installer, but too bad, none found. Maybe anyone knows more?

The first problem with that would be that the screen resolution of the xperia is bigger than the diamond.. If you were to install the panels plugin on a touch hd however it would be much less of a problem ..

[REQ] Xpanel on Diamond

Just read a review of the experia x1, which said that the touchflo3d was transferable to the X1 as a panel in the xpanel UI
Just wandering if this could be reversed, so have the XPanel software on the Diamond with TF3d as the default panel?

Because HD and X1 share the same resolution (WVGA - 800x480), the TF3D off of HD was ported to X1, and the Panels from X1 are partly working on HD.
Since HD TF3D has been ported to our Diamonds, I don't see why an effort shouldn't be made for the Panels to be ported too, but as yet there's no development AFAIK.

thats the same thing i thought whean i red about the hd manilla running on the diamond.

If you check out this thread on Touch HD, they are nearly there. Once they have it on the HD it won't be too long till it ported to our device

you guys should check out Task Facade while we wait for the X1 panels to be developed for the Pro/Diamond. Its pretty useful for my everyday usage. Just google it and you should be able to find it.

is it possible to somehow make a clone of sony's new oled walkman? liike instead of using the media penal player, have it look like the walkman's touch interface?
i saw some vids and it seems to be pritty smooth and touch friendly.
