my Xperia dead no accept rom no more working
i tried with setool
i got this with identify option
EROM "R8A013" AID: 0001
SOFTWARE AID: FFFF
LOADER AID: DEAD
with flash option phone no answer
plz help
Try SEUS instead.
i also have the same problem (well it might be the same)
i went to bed last night and phone was fine
got up this morning and wouldnt turn on
tryied charging it as the battery might have been dead but no led came on,
took the battery out for a good few minuites and placed it back in the phone
tried again to turn it on this time the phone vibrated to say it was turning on but thats it, no screen , no led , nothing
each time i take the battery out for 10 secs or so and put it in i get vibrate but nothing more
any ideas? or am i preety much f***ed
Have you tried reflashing with seus?
am trying that now was wierd again though i had to (in order to get it into flash mode)
take out battery and insert battery with back held down then the usb i.e. i couldnt just hold back and insert usb
hope this works, its a pitty i had my x10 just how i wanted it too oh well
edit: well the flashing worked so i shall have to start from scratch again, cheers for the input x10user

You're welcome. Sometimes it's best to start from scratch, as much of a pain as it is, but if you have a xRecovery backup you only need to root, install xRecovery and go from there.

thnx for the help.. i did follow the steps mentioned.. but it styll doesnt wrk. whn i try to flash the rom.. it supposedly looses connection wid the computer .. the screen looses the light buh the wizard is on all the way.. u cant use it though.. buh the lights are still blinkin.. (the wifi and phone)

hey, my mda doesnt even turn on anymore, do u guys think its the battery but the battery was fine when i flashed it but then it doesnt boot to the window, so i took the battery out and put it back in and it doesnt turn on anymore.. i tried the camera, rest button and other stuffs. do u think my phone is bricked? or i should def. get a new battery and try it out?
I suggest you back to your Official rom first then start over again. I do this many times. Activesync always loose its connection before start flashing. It's a normal procedure. When you mention that your Wizard is still up and on the way, what you mean exatcly? Be more specific bringing point details on where you are stuck for instance. Then I'll try to help you out.

Sounds a power problem to me. I've been into this couple of times after being in a bootloader mode for a long time. Plug the Wizard directly into the powerwall to start charging then back to your flashing process first doing with an official rom. I don't think you have bricked it.

Try to enter in a bootloader mode by hold on the camera button while pressing the reset button. You'll go to bootloader. If not, remove battery one more time, wait seconds and put it in back. Then, force bootloader again and try to charge through powerwall. You should get an orange light or similar during recharging. Check your model. Hope it helps you this time.

which version is it ,G3 or G4,and which Rom were trying to upgrade with.
Well,if its a G3 then,there's some power problem,but if it's a G4 and you tried to flash a Rom with IPL/SPL included,well its a brick.
Yeah...unfortunately zabardast_1 is right about your device. If it is a G4 and you flashed a G3 ROM, you could have bricked your techtoy! Hope you knew what you was doing at that time!

i was running the button program and it stopped at 98% and the bar turned red. i did the recovery process and got the colored screen. after that i couldnt active sync phone with computer, i turned the phone off and now cant get it to turn back on. i am f$#%ed arent i
any help would be wonderful.

Which is your device,G3 or G4 ? well,if its a G3,then try to get into bootloaders (multicolor screen),if it gets there,try to flash Button's Rom again,but if its a G4,then I'm afraid it might be 'Bricked',still try to get into bootloaders,if it gets there,then its safe.

Don't worry i bricked my G4 like 3 or 4 times already but managed to revive it lol
If yours is a G4,
-enter bootloader ( i think camera+soft reset button) -- if you can't get into bootloader, maybe it's time to pay a visit to service center
-flash using wizard love ROM, just use the RUU included in the rar file, if you're not italian, just "Avanti" means something like next (http://rapidshare.com/files/17792050/Wizard_Love_2.26.10.2_WWE_Novii_CF2.rar)
-After installation is finished and your device is alive again, install EnableRapi.cab and Cert_SPCS.cab
-SOFT RESET
-Let it reboot until you get into the today screen (ignore the ugly splash, that's the price you have to pay to get your device alive.. )
-Re-flash WM6 using Shelltool, read the shelltool documentation and make sure you don't miss anything.
I read there are easier method like soft and hard SPL, but never try. The above is what I always do when I brick my wizard.

but the thing is everytime i try to turn it on, nothing happens. The first time, after it stopped at 98% i turned it off and got the bootloaders screen, but active sync didnt work, then i turned it off again and it never came back on. the next day when i got home, try to turn on and nothing. Also when trying to charge phone, no orange light shows up. anything you can think of will be awesome

dead battery perhaps? try borrowing one of your friend's charged battery.
I bricked my wizard several times but never got to that "really dead" point.
The only thing I can think of is just, IF you managed to get that bootscreen again, and can have your wizard alive long enough to flash, don't turn it off again, but try re-flashing using RUU (they worked on bootscreen even though active sync is not connected). I also don't have experience reviving G3s, maybe another member with G3 can help?
ok i have a issue with my fone my phone is stuck on the tri-colored screen which says:

well i am as u can see im not good with tech. stuff like this but i would like sum advice or ideas on how to fix my problem. well here is how it all happened. my fone started off fine, out of the blue it started turning off by itself, then coming back on. it will reboot fine then as soon as i touch the screen or try to text or call it shut off on me. first i thought my battery was dying. that didnt work kept it on the charger switched out the battery, still nothing ended up doing the same. so a fren told me to hard reset or press the ok button pwr n the reset button at bottom using the stylst. now im stuck in bootloader mode after i ran a program:
HARD-SPL-MFG
and was told to flash the fone, which i had no idea what to do the person who was helping me i didnt hear frm again n i was stuck in this tricolored screen what should i do? i just want my phone up and running so i can use it once again...if thats possible..it be great i love the phone n dnt want the money i invested into it wasted

If I had to guess, it sounds like you have installed a SPL that is not compatible with your existing radio and rom.
First thing is I would try downloading the stock rom for your phone, I believe you can download this from HTC's website, I would download the newest and the one prior to it. Try installing the older of the 2 first since your SPL that you do have is older, and if it fails to install, then try the newer of the two.
If it still fails, come back here and I'm sure somebody else can give you more advice.

I was trying to Upgrade my O2 XDA Exec Rom with Windows Mobile 6.5 by explode. The process went successfully till 99% and after that it ended up with Error. Then I unplugged my pda from the pc and tried to restart the device. I was surprised that the device did not respond to any of the following
Soft Reset
Hard Rest
Boot Loader mode Start (Bulb + Power + Reset)
It is totally blank screen whatever you do.
When I connected the device to the pc with usb cable, a Red Light is shown for 2 seconds and then goes off and a message comes up on the pc that "USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED".
Then I tried to Remove battery from the device for a whole night and the next day morning i did all the above procedures again to get no results.
Kindly Help me out

Try to reflash with another ROM
And maybe your battery is not working

Im new to this forum and spending a few weeks doing searches I have found a new world of things I can do with my M5000! Only problem is I have the same problem as this guy. The problem started with no GSM, No Protocol version and no IMEI number, After countless rom installs and failed all I thought I left the sim in? Took batt out, No sim, Put the batt back in and now it wont turn on or do anything.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem or its it an expensive paper weight?? Im lost without it!

since more than one year I use android via sd and have magldr as boot loader to boot from sd, and had no problem ever, two days ago I installed "NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.3-CM9-SD V1.5" on sd also I noticed that first time on setup I did set the time zone and everything correctly but when I restored the mail from backup I had an error because different versions, so I deleted and copied again , this time I was not able to change the time zone, but everything works fine at the mid of day rom begin to freeze so I pull out battery and re-insert and it work again , then it begin to freeze frequent, I did wipe task29 and reinstalled magldr I got back the old "HTC sensation boxmax9.0" one I have and also it begin to freeze, and noticed that always I get a warning about the time zone not right, and I was not able to change it , I mean I select from list but the phone don't accept it then it begin to freeze dramatically, and even the logo don't show I did hard reset then the logo shown but no start at all, I did again task 29 same prob not even a logo shown, I left it to the other day, I did task29 and installed an original rom from htc website "RUU_Leo_S_hTC_Asia_India_3.14.720.3_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship" - because this one I can download when I put the serial of my mobile - , but always stuck at 0%, I left it till the night again task29 and original rom and it flashed 100% and the phone start completed setup then freeze after 10 min, and since then on white screen
what should I do, I tried to put on charger, even after a 30 min or so didn't start at all and the red light freeze still on even when I remove it from charge so I pull the battery out and it but stuck again on boot white screen even did a hard reset but also stuck on white
if there anything I can do I don't prefer to send it to repair.

that sounds like a hardware problem.
i took it to repair center they told me that I must change the board and they don'y have one lol,
so I bring it back, after I put it on charger for a long time it turned on (weird) and I left it all night on charger as I read on a topic here and till morning I found it on and functional but when I begin to use it about 5 min it freeze again and back to the same problem.
I tried to wipe it task 29 but can't succeed on the phone said that 100% and finish normally but on pc the hd2 toolkit said error check image utility.
even when I try to install magldr it finish normally 100% on pc and 100% on phone and phone reboot but on the finish page (hd2 toolkit) same prob: error 270 update error - the image file is corrupted please check your update utility.

Your motherboard is the issue, you should think of replacing it...

Your best bet should be ebay, but be careful: not any seller is a fair one, try to find out more about him and his items!
