I guess you are currently using google sync?
I had this trouble as well (only syncing 1 calendar), there are a couple of paid for solutions I found but this works great and is free:
http://www.milow.net/public/projects/activegcsync-project-page.html
Direct link to the cab file:
http://www.milow.net/dl/activegcsync/2.0/ActiveGcSync.CAB
Basically when you set it up you match any additional calendars as categories, you can choose which calendars to sync and set default reminders. It then runs in the background and syncs automatically (you can also change how often it syncs).
tnx a lot! great! tnx for your fast reply
Or use www.nuevasync.com.
I have my Google Calendar sync'd with my HD2 using ActiveSync. Is Google Agenda something different? The ActiveSync solution was quick and easy to set up and works brilliantly.

yea well the problem is dat HTC ActiveSync only syncs 1 google calenders and not the calenders which you have view rights in.
Hi all,
I've managed to get my Google Calendars syncing with my phone now both ways, so I can view 5 calendars on my phone. They sync 2 way and do it very well!
The only thing I'm wanting to do is when creating a new Calendar appointment in HTC Sense, it has default categories of "None", "Business", "Holiday", "Personal" and "Seasonal".
I need to be able to change these so I can put the actual Calendar name in and create new appointments on my phone that will Sync to google.
Anyone got any idea's how I can change these? Haven't been able to find anything so far
Try to use the outook mobile calendar ... There you can introduce new categories but they are not used by the HTC agenda. Maybe are read by Google Sync ?

Cheers for that. The Categories are in the Pocket Outlook Calendar and if I use those, it syncs correctly. The only problem is the HTC Calendar version, it has the default categories only.
Shame
I agree with you. I posted yesterday evening a question to HTC support to known if we can change the proposed categories into Sense because it's a Sense limitation (same problem with groups into the contacts).
I will keep you informed.
Hi. How did you manage to sync multiple calendars by categories with google cal?
Please explain.
Id love to know the same as jexxer as well. I have only managed to sync 1 google calendar at a time as well.

I'd like to see a workaround for this too, I use David Allen's GTD methodology and I'd like to change the default categories so that match the ones I use on my Outlook calendar. As it is the default categories sync OK with Outlook, but I don't understand why HTC hard-coded them so they can't be changed.
Otherwise the calendar app is pretty good. There aren't any really good, 3rd party, finger-friendly calendars available at the moment.

Hi,
No answer to your problem but a question ... How did you manage to sync your google calendars ? For the time being, there is just one (the default one attahced to my google gmail account) which can be synced, the others won't show up in pocket informant ... Your input is more than welcome. Thx in advance !

Hi all.
Does anyone know of an app that can synchronise the "PC Sync" calendar created by HTC Sync on an Android phone to a specific Google calendar?
Secondly does any one know of a reliable calendar reminder app with a snooze function?
I've tried "Calendar Snooze" and following the last update it constantly triggers reminders even when it's been dismissed. It was the first app in over 3 months to cause me to restart my phone(!)
Thanks in advance
I don't know if this is what you mean.

I use HTC Sync to sync my work Outlook calendar to my phone. My company won't allow a direct sync to my google calendar.
HTC Sync creates a new calendar on my phone that just contains my work entries. This is fine but I wanted to know if there was away to sync those entries from my phone to a Google account online .
Hope that helps clear it up.
@SpartanGrey => Sorry for my bad english but for your sync problem, try Google Calendar Sync. It works fine for me in my Company.
Calendar Sync is too limited for me.

Thanks Thibault1403...but I can't use Calendar Sync.
2 reasons;
1. My company prohibits sync'ing direct to an online account.
2. Calendar Sync will only sync with the main calendar and I wanted to sync work items to a specific "sub-Calendar" in my main account.
Thanks for the advice though.
I just got an HD2 and got Android running onto it without any issue. I am planning to switch over from an iPhone. I have one issue. I am a users that heavily uses Outlook on a daily basis to manage my Contacts and Calendar. Also, I use iTunes for my music.
I did some research on finding ways to sync iTunes and outlook with Android but I couldn't find any satisfying solution.
I was hoping you guys would be able to share how you guys sync Outlook's contact and calendars onto Android.
I know there are few methods out there where I can sync my Outlook with Gmail using Google Sync app, and then sync my Android with Gmail. Isn't there a more simpler method to achieve this?
This is not a solution to your problem, its just what I did to solve all this import/synch from outlook contacts / calendar which is a very frustrating task. I stoped using outlook! I imported all contacts and calendar entries to gmail - gmail calendar and now everytime I run a new android build all these get synchronized automatically. I just input gmail username and pass. It takes only a minute.
Hope this helps

Obviously it's not an option and I never understood why people still complain about a full blown Outlook solution.
I'm in the same situation as you and I solved with a couple of little programs.
Google Contacts Outlook Synchronizer and Google Calendar Sync. You only have to set things once, then everything works on the fly.
As for your music, winamp has just released a beta version which can sync music via wifi or usb. You do need a beta desktop version as well, found here

I ran into Google App Sync, https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gappssync, but it seems that I have to pay for it. Isn't there something similar to this which is free?

Just add google mail account and wait, it will kick in on its own.
It can take a while for google contacts to sync. When I had WP7 on my phone it synched with facebook immediately but my contacts on google didnt update for a few hours.
I guess patience is the best solution Wait and it will come... eventually
Mark.
Go into Google Mail you've setup earlier, there's a menu for sync. Click and it'll start to sync all the contacts. U'll see them at the top.
