What version Kies are you using please? Cause I have nothing on my Kies. And, it still crashes when checking for updates. *sigh*
God, I bet we'll be the last to receive the update, being the buttplug of the world.

Interestingly enough, My version is 15310093 80. Hmmm... We'll see. Maybe they will roll it out tomorrow or something.
I'm using 1.5.3.10093_82 and have the update in Kies. Just need more power on my battry before upgrading.
Does the oneclickroot work on this one?

I just updated my Kies to 1.5.3.10093_82. And I am not getting the update in Kies. I cleaned up my registry after removing the older version. Does that affect getting the update. Secondly I bought my phone from Vodafone Germany.

No idear how I see that. I just downloaded Kies from the German site yesterday. There was a new Kies from 17/10. And I'm in Denmark if thas has anything to do with anything

I'm from Denmark and talking about the released froyo from Kies (JPM) Dunno if all can download it right now, but this is not a test firmware or anything.
oehhh yay.. im anxious sitting @ work now. too ****E that i dont have admin rights to install Kies on my work pc so i have to wait untill tonight to check if the dream is really coming true

I'm still receiving a "this device version cannot be updated" message!
That could be a problem.
Your Kies should say "Latest firmware already installed".
Maybe someone else can shed some light on that as im not 100% sure.
If it says Device cannot be upgraded it could be a software issue.

Mine was doing this too.. the new update released today (1.5.3) seems to have fixed that for me, although I had to reinstall the drivers as well.
From holland here I updated my galaxy with the new kies version v1.5.3.10093_82
but i didnt update to 2.2 I now have 2.1 update 1 so I ques we will have to wait here in holland for froyo
So much for it getting released worldwide all at once... Sigh.

Yes, should get "Latest firmware already installed" message. But if you get "this device version cannot be updated", that means your product code is "KOR". Product code changed to "KOR" normally if you flashed leaked froyo firmware.
for Singtel, need to change product code back to "XSO". Search forum on how to change product code... about editing the nv_data.bin file...

Just connected with Kies ....... 80) only got the 2.1 update 1
My current build number is 1.15.707.1 CL185145.
I tried to update the software, however the phone keep replying with the message saying "your device has the latest software" therefor i would like to ask you guys if there is any solution to it?

we have the same build # and even here in the philippines we have the 2.2.1 update but when i update my phone it say the same as you are. so for me it will come to us maybe not now, not in the hurry because the review of froyo is not that very good so i'll just wait. eclair is good enough for me...

today i received a mail from Microfosft (I am registred as developer).
The sent me files to update to Mango. But before that they want to BackUp my phone, where my update was canceled.
It looks like the same Zune BackUp, when you do an update.
Is there any way to do this update with an HD2?

nope and you wouldnt want to either
there is a lot of HD2 specific files in this, if you dump an official update on it there is a good change you will bugger up the device again
There are several Threads concerning the Mango-update now..why open another?
well i thougth the official beta update would be more usefull. but i thought wrong you (of some1else) could delete this thread

I have seen everyone post about being able to update to Mango, but mine shows that I am up to date with version 7390. Why won't it update? Thanks in advance.
WROnG!!! I just finished updating TWO Samsung Focus 1.3 updates At$t via Zune. Took about hour. I updated from the beta 7712.
1.4 has to wait.
1.3 here . unlock n using with tmo us . no update here i m on 7390.

Well thanks for the friendly reply, "WROnG!!". I'm telling you what is happening. My device says it is up to date even though the update has been released.

You created a thread titled "At&t Focus v1.3 - No Mango Update?" Instead of reading the other threads stating the the opposite. I'm sorry if the random capitalization of the word offended you. I was actually still feeling excited that my phone updated.
Try using search or reading thread title on the first page at least, before creating a new thread.
I also have v.1.3 and still NO update notification. I will try the force update.

I have Mango now.. via force update.
All this chatter about Mango being release today. My HD2 has Yuki’s back to the future rom with mango. Do I still need to update my hd2 when the mango rollout notifies my zune?
What is the difference between the build being release today vs the leaked RTM 7720 and yuki’s back to the future rom?
Will I gain anything new that I don’t already have?

today version is final official version of Mango, all other before this is test, beta or releases for manufactures...

He knows that his current version is the RTM, which is by the way something totally different from a test or beta version!
The question asked is what the DIFFERENCE between the official and RTM version is.
As far as i understand the difference is in the drivers that are present in the version released today by MS. But then again it is just what i have read somewhere.

When I connected my phone to Zune it said the update would "clean up any beta/ivs provisioning to ensure your phone can recieve future updates"..
Quite a few people in the "back to the future" thread seem to have installed the update without problems.
I assume that if you update from the Yuk/HD2Oi "beta" to "official" Mango you wont gain anything functional, it will just change some versions/comments from "beta" to "official" so it shows as an offical release rather than a beta release.

For info, I've just installed this update (took less than a minute) and all is working fine still.
Waiting for more feedback and then only I'll switch.
If theres no real difference then I won't switch at all. Its too much of a mess to setup up my tiles and get my apps up and running again.

just completed the update process from "back to future" rom to the official mango. i see no difference between the two other than perhaps removing elements of beta according to the update. there was no change in my tile presentation and i had no app installed as i was experience huge battery drain for no reason.

Q1, if previous side loaded apps are still on the phone & usable?

Yes, you can sideload apps using your tomxap installer, I just installed fruit ninja.
As to previous sideloaded apps I can't answer cos i did the upgrade without any installed up.
I just upgrade my phone to mango.
I checked and it did not affect my apps or tiles.

Yeah, I installed it too. Just like installing it as a native WP. It won't mess up any apps, pix, or saved documents. Took less than 5 minutes & actually made my very smooth phone, smoother!

From what I've read so far it seems safe to install this update. We dont have any "official" statement from Yuki or DF or anyone actually involved in the ROM here do we?
And also, will I need to reconfigure the phone after applying this update? If so, then this update is not gonna happen for me.

I don't think you'll configure anything. After the upgrade my tiles,ringtone and wifi address were still in order.

Ok, it installed after a few tries. Rebooted computer and phone as well, but dont think that has anything to do with it.

It runs smoother & faster when scrolling. It was near perfect before & it's even better now! Even on my apps, like this one, it runs smoother. It was worth updating.
