Hello,
Thanks for reading this! Maybe you have an idea to help me out?
I followed these steps to install WP7:
- installed 1.44 stock rom
- installed hspl3
- installed MAGLDR 1.12
And then I'm stuck. Normally I should keep on pressing on the power button to see a menu. Problem is that my screen is just the white startup screen of HTC. I can flash back to stock ROM when I press Down button.
If you can help me, let me know! I'm really looking forward to test WP7!
Thanks
Koen
install a radio compatible with the 576 mega of ram
Flash radio 2.12.50, as this seems to be the best for WP7 and battery life. Then perform the steps you have done already. In magldr use volume rocker to selct option 5 (answer call hard key to select), wait for usb connection and then run "DWi.exe".
Thank you all for the help! It works perfectly!!

Starting doing it step by step and then suddenly...
When installing MAGLDR111 got white screen with HTC logo and nothing else happened, can't reach MAGLDR boot load screen.
Can somebody help getting back to life my phone?
btw: radio WAS 2.15.50... and had a HSPL which was needed for MAGLDR.
I'm really desperate, so any help will be great.

1. Remove the battery
2. Put the battery back in
3. While pressing the power button (red - end call button), keep pressing the volume down button. Do that simultaneously and it shall take you into bootloader.
4. Run Task 29
5. Install MAGDLR
6. Install NAND as stated in tutorial
Ok, i've just did what you told, but what is a task 29?
Sorry for all those questions, but I really want my toy back...
nicedude_abad - tanks man!!!
I've just bring it back to life, but not without your help!

Well, my forensic analysis has come up with the following technical and somewhat difficult solution to your present problem: "Click the search button"
Now I know it may sound intimidating, but I tested that feature out for you and came up with this:

Shut down completely your phone (remove batter for 15 sec too)
Place battery back and now hold volume down button.
Still hold volume down button and switch on your phone.
You get 3 color screen.
Now attach your usb cable and connect it to PC
Find on this forum your phone stock win mobile rom (link to officila roms thread)
Run stock win 6.5 rom exe (this is sample name: RUU_Leo_S_HTC_WWE_EastEurope_3.14.479.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship.exe)
Follow instructions on your PC screen. On final your phone reboots.
Enjoy your stock phone.

Switch off, hold vol down button in and switch on.
As ClydeB1, states you must hold the vol down only and not hold the power button.

when you get ready to power back on you have to hold volume down and keep holding it while is booting and it should switched to the tricolored screen, plug the usb cable and it should say usb at the bottom when it connects, and if you have hardspl which I know you have after running android, you can use any custom winmo6.5 rom it doesn't have to be an official rom.
can i flash wm6.5 rom into magdlr usb flasher?
No, flash from bootloader.
awts...i cant enter into booloader mode....im so sure what im doing i sure i follow the instructions of you guys....holding down the vol button and switch on
Are you holding it at the bottom of the button and not in the middle or top, ie as if you are turning the volume down?
I don't think you can flash WM6.5 with flasher. You have to restore from recovery screen by remove battery and restore.

yeah im sure i was holding down the volume botton and switch the power on
Does the vol down button work normally in the Android rom or when moving around in magldr. To be sure, remove the battery and leave it out for 10 minutes then put the battery back, leave the cover off and try again.
I have heard of one or two users who have also had a problem where the vol down button stopped working. If that is the case there is no way back AFAIK.

volume botton is perfectly working it work around in magdlr mode actually i flashed my hd2 into android rom right now flashing is done without problems, but its not boot normarly it boot only in splash screen....
can you guys post a link of task 29...i will try this method and flash stock rom
but the main problem is i cant enter into bootloader mode
I use this tool for Task29 - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=917807
Once you run Task29 though it will wipe the NAND memory and magldr and if you can't get back to bootloader mode then you will be stuck on the splashscreen.
Hi,
I'm also having problems, but in my case the progress bar on my phone when installing the new ROM stops at 0% and will stay there indefinably. On my computer a connection problem will be raised.
The same happens with task29.
I've also tried decompressing ROM Utility, putted leoimg.nbh on my 2GB fat32 formatted sdcard, hold down the volume key.
I will get a new screen with "Loading..." on it, but it freezes there.
So, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
Any help will be appreciated.

Are you sure you still have hspl installed? In bootloader, check your spl version- it should end in hspl.

is it possible to flash an rom without getting into the bootloader?
have anyone an other idea what i can do?
Not sure if this will help you, but I was being a noob and trying to use the touchscreen with magldr to select a menu item, but you're meant to use the volume up and down keys and the call button to select an item. To flash, select usb flasher. Hopefully that was of help
Hi, is there a solution for this? I have the same problem.
I wanted to install NAND Android on my HTC HD2 device actually running WM and Android on an SD card. I followed all the steps carefully:
I flashed HARDSPL with HSPL4
I updated the Radio version to 2.15.50.14
I installed MAGLDR113 and the installation gave me no problems, but when rebooting, the phone gets stuck in the initial screen and it doesn't either boot or let me go to the boot menu no matter for how long I press the power or the down volume button.
Anybody can help?
Thanks
Hello,
I am trying to install gingerbread on my HTC HD2 (UK phone) which already has Android 2.2 by DFT.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=905060
After successfully updating the ROM using ROM update utility, I can't get to the second step. Even after a reboot pressing the volume button down I only get the three colour screen but never the option screen as mentioned in the instructions.
I am only upgrading because of my G sensor seems to be broken. I can only see things in portrait mode on my phone. Albeit turning the Autorotate on. If anyone has a solution for any of these problems, Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

First things first.....first post!
Ok so I have the HD2 512 version and have put hspl 2.08 on it with no problems but when I have tried loading magldr1.13 the install seems to go ok on the phone but when it reboots magldr doesnt launch it simply stays on the default white htc launch screen.
My own fault for following a youtube video I guess.
The handset lets me reflash magldr which I did a couple of times and I tried an older version of magldr and also used the nand toolkit to try and install magldr but still the same white screen on launch.
Any ideas whats going on anyone? help appreciated with thanks

Are you sure you installed HSPL correct? Hold down the volume button and press the power button, till the rainbow screen, does it say something about cotulla hspl? If yes, connect the phone to the computer(still in the rainbow screen of course) and wipe the device(task29). After that your device will be totally clean and the correct radio is installed. So you will have to press the volume down button again to enter the rainbow screen and then install magldr.
Yes it does say cotulla.
So I tried what you said I connected in rainbow screen and pressed wipe(task 29) in the nand toolkit (wipe from the toolkit right?) but in the rainbow screen it says cotulla still,
tried magldr again, same white screen
when you saying "launching Mgldr", are you pressing the power button(end key) when the phone boots? this way only you enter Mgldr and loads the menu
Yes I have tried holding the power button on powering on the device and tried it without holding, still the same white htc screen and no movement from there.
When I wipe the handset it still has SPL-2.08.HSPL on it and still says CollutaHSPL.
I'm guessing I should try and restart from scratch??
you havent flashed a compatible radio yet, , magldr wont start without it.
enter bootloader
usb
flash radio 2.15.50
reboot
magldr.
Ok I will try that now. Is radio 2.15.50.14 ok?
Wahey! I'm in!
Thanks very much you guys are legends!
Right next step haha. Don't worry I'll read up on it don't want to hassle anyone.
Any suggestions what are the best roms for WP7 or ICS??
(and if you have time point me in the right direction of them)
Any other step I am missing?
Again thanks for your help
