If press too often ????????
I thought this was a question about your will power and buying/selling an X10.
Properly phrase your questions!
As for an answer, the power button won't go bad. It's sort of designed to be pressed a lot. The paint doesn't seem to chip on it like it does on the front buttons.

Sorry if this question has been answered anywhere ... but I realized one thing that is draining my battery is the accidental press on hardware buttons when my hD2 is in my pocket. Is there a way to disable the hardware buttons other than the end/power button when the screen is turned off ? It is silly that the press of any hardware button turn on the screen ...
AE button plus I think
I Know there are more threads with a broken power button but nobody has given an answer to the problem. I have a HTC Touch HD. The power button (on the top left) won't work. Usually , when you press the power button, you can feel it click, and the screen turns on and off. But now, the button just goes down when i press it, and you dont feel it "clicking". So now I can't turn it on.
Does anyone know how I can get it on or fix it?
Thanks...
Update: ive opened my mobile, so now can i see whats beneath the power button. I don't have a clue what mechanism it should have (how the click works)... How it normally looks.. any suggestions?
hi guys,
i find the power button on my s4 to be a little squishy. the volume button and home button both have a much better feel. the click when pressed.
The power button on the other hand doesnt stick out as much. it has a tectile feel but just a bit squishy. lol

Click to collapse
Nope there should be a definite click to the power button. Mine is also squishy, I had 5 S4 previously and they were all fine.
I decided to keep the one with a dodgy power button as the screen is ok and its PVS binning 5.
But no, it's not normal, it's defective. If it really bothers you then send it back
Yeah mine is acting wierd aswell, but you get used to it after a few weeks!
i dont like te power button on S4 it's pushed in heaps unlike the S2.
Prefer the S2 power button
IMO Note 2 has a major flaw with hardware buttons placement, where volume buttons located on exact opposite side of power button, which means in my experience 99% pressing power button I accidentally press volume button too.
Does Note 3 have the same flaw or they actually shifted these buttons away from each other?
P.S.
Also I hope they didn't swap sides for these buttons, making power button on left.
Sorry to report the power and volume up/down are on the direct opposite sides from each other so when you hit power you are gonna hit volume 99% of time as well.
That sucks. Hopefully being narrower it wouldn't be as bad...
On N4 they better move power button higher! or...I'd buy it anyway, I guess...
My power and volume up button seem some what loose.
anyone else have the same problem with me ?
isit normal these button is loose :crying:
Why did you make a poll with one vote?
Also yes, I have my power button loose and my volume buttons as well. I exchanged the phone and the new one did not have this problem.
