My Focus makes a sound when I plug it in to charge. Am I crazy, or did it used to make a sound when I unplugged it from the charger as well? It's not making a sound when I unplug it now.
I soft reset, but I'm not going to hard reset just to bring that sound back.
Mine does not make a sound when unplugging.
Mine makes a sound when I plug it in, and unplug it. But now, at random it would seem it either stops making a sound when I unplug, or it just won't stop making the sound (continues for hours!)
this exact thing (the non-stop "charger connected" sound) started happening to me tonight at work. now the phone won't show up when i plug it into the computer.
any help?

Hi
Wondering if this is a prob with the earphones or the xdaII unit
Can make calls etc fine. However, when i plug the standard earphones in and make a phone call, i get cut off about 3 seconds into the call. I can hear through both earphones. Tried fiddling with the socket, but nothing gives.
Fault in the audio connector?
I've had this happen, I've also had a call drop when I plug the unit in for charging.
Yesterday I installed Mortplayer onto my phone (8125), and everything was dandy. Loving the big buttons. However, today I tried to call someone; the call went though ok, and connected fine, except I couldn't hear anything they were saying. Then I realized that my phone wasn't making any noise, not even that "back" noise you hear when you hit the red phone key. So I check the volume levels, and even go as far as uninstalling Mortplayer, but still I have no sound. Any ideas?
(And yes, I can talk/hear with a headset, but that's no fun)
Damn it, Im having the exact same problem. Happened yesterday. I did not drop my phone or anything. I didn't even install any new software. Still trying to figure it out...
Make sure it doesn't think you've got a wired headset connected for some reason. Try blow jobbing the headset connector port.
Tried backup + hardreset to see if it's the software screwing up?

I had this problem
Try plugging your headphones in and if you can hear sound its the headphone jack.
If you can hear sound through the headphones take out the headphones then plug them in again then take them out and in and out until the sound comes out the speakers.
Thats how i fixed it anyway
Hi all,
today i forgot my charger so the battery was 44% full and i used the mobile for a long phone call and after im done the battery was 36% after a while i wanted to make another phone call and the battery was 29% the phone was in flight-mode without any reason...
then i did restart the device but it didnt turn on....
this is not the problem...
after i went back home and did recharge the phone now the speakers and the microphone doesn't work i did HARD RESET THE PHONE AND NO USE!!!
Help me pleaaaaaaaaase!!!
i found the solution and here it is in case anyone faced the same problem...
if you were using a normal headset and after you plugged it out the sound started to break apart then do the following:
1-turn your media player on and start playing any audio file while volume is at MAX...
2-try to plug it in first and then test if the sound comes out of the headset normally...
3-then plug the heasdset out of the device (not all of it keep some of the jack inside the headset hole) do that in slow motion....yes...in slow motion and try to focus in making the sound goes out of the headset and the device at the sametime....
4-if you managed to make the sound BLOWS OUT from the speakers then the problem is because you plugged out the headset too quickly which generated a shock (actually i dont know if that's the accurate definition)
5- try to twist the headset jack left and right and plug it out gentely while the sound is still going out of the speakers...
and thats it...
Ok, peeps, i have this extremely irritating problem. Whenever i plug my headphones or i connect with my pc (regardless if it is with sync or not) my phone starts to...um...to freeze up. That four coloured wheel pops up, you know, the one that shows the phone is busy. It does that for a few seconds, stops and then does it again. That continues forever. The only way to stop it is to soft-reset it. Any help?
Hey,
I've got a problem with my headphone jack on the top...
Even though there's nothing in it, it "believes" a cable is plugged in and thus of course outputs all sound to the empty jack and not to the speakers
Is there any way to repair it or disable the jack completely?
Thanks in advance,
Xenon O
I had the same problem. I was already thinking of a hard reset. But after about 1.5 a 2 hours my phone suddenly reconized that the headset was plugged out. (try'd about 100 times in and out) and my phone went beeping the whole time. Now it works fine.
